Abstract:
Video compression has become especially important nowadays with the increase of data transmitted over transmission channels, the reducing the size of the videos must be done without affecting the quality of the video. This process is done by cutting the video thread into frames of specific lengths and converting them into a three-dimensional matrix. The proposed compression scheme uses the traditional red-green-blue color space representation and applies a three-dimensional discrete Fourier transform (3D-DFT) or three-dimensional discrete wavelet transform (3D-DWT) to the signal matrix after c

Spiders are abundantly found in nature and most ecosystems, making up more than 47 000 species. This ecological success is in part due to the exceptional mechanics of the spider web, with its strength, toughness, elasticity and robustness, which originate from its hierarchical structures all the way from sequence design to web architecture. It is a unique example in nature of high-performance material design. In particular, to survive in different environments, spiders have optimized and adapted their web architecture by providing housing, protection, and an efficient tool for catching prey. T

Still, an averaged three dimensional picture can be obtained by combining and cross-matching multiple one-dimensional IGM information with three-dimensional galaxy surveys. Abstract:
Macromolecules are proteins formed by amino acids joined by peptide bonds, and can be described in different structural levels: primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary. It’s possible to extract a small part of the three dimensional structure of the protein to be used as a ligand. However, the extraction of fragments by experimental methods is expensive and time-consuming. In this context, the development of a web service to extract fragments of three-dimensional proteins makes the process more assertive and less costly. The methods used for the development of the protein slicer web service

WebCSD, a new web-based application developed by the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre, offers fast searching of the Cambridge Structural Database using only a standard internet browser. Search facilities include two-dimensional substructure, molecular similarity, text/numeric and reduced cell searching. Text, chemical diagrams and three-dimensional structural information can all be studied in the results browser using the efficient entry summaries and embedded three-dimensional viewer.

Abstract:
To study the shear force distribution laws of a box girder with a single-box multichamber (SB-MC) configuration for different supporting conditions, numbers of webs, stiffness of end diaphragm, and web thickness values, a box girder with SB-MC was numerically simulated using three-dimensional finite element model. According to the comparison results of web shear force, the concept of η, a shear-increased coefficient for webs, was introduced. The results show that supporting conditions and chambers have a significant impact on the shear-increased coefficient η, and end diaphragm must be set up
