Joseph Bromer, Head of IT Solutions Delivery at LifeInsure Emerging Markets, deliberated on a challenge that he had just been given. TIBCO, a vendor supporting ObjectStar, notified LifeInsure that support for the application would cease at the end of 2017. ObjectStar was the Product Administration System (PAS) system used by LifeInsure. The ObjectStar platform was called Alpha and was used in over 200 applications. There were a number of risks, which added more pressure including the scarcity of skills and an aging workforce, but the key risk related to this was the lack of ongoing support.

TiCo alloys are important biomedical materials for both scientific and technological interests due to their potential applications as hard tissue replacement (HTR). The microstructural characteristics of the alloys in this system are of both scientific and technological interests. This work presents the results of microstructural characterization of as-cast TiCo alloys using a combination of various experimental methods. The results confirm that there are two variants of the Laves phase TiCo2, i.e. h-TiCo2 and c-TiCo2 exist in this system of as cast state. The eutectic reaction L(β-Ti)+ Ti2Co is determined to be occur at at 23 at.% Co, 1020 °C. Four peritectic reactions, i.e. L+ TiCo Ti2Co, L+ TiCo (c-TiCo2), L+(c-TiCo2) (h-TiCo2) and L+Co TiCo3 occur at 1058 °C, 1235 °C, 1210 °C, and 1190 °C, respectively. Eutectoid reaction (βTi) (αTi)+ Ti2Co occurs at 9 at.% Co, 685 °C.

Radiographic outcome assessment of ankle arthrodesis (AA) requires accurate measurement techniques. This study aimed to identify the most reliable methods for sagittal tibio-talar alignment measurements with regard to the tibio-talar offset after AA. Lateral weight-bearing radiographs of 38 fused ankles were selected for retrospective review. The sagittal tibio-talar angle (STTA), the modified tibio-talar ratio (mT-T ratio) and the sagittal tibio-talar offset (tibCOR, procLAT) were measured by three independent observers. Intra- and interobserver correlation coefficients (ICC) and mean measurement differences were calculated to assess measurement reliability and accuracy. By defining the talar longitudinal axis as a line from the inferior aspect of the posterior tubercle of the talus to the most inferior aspect of the talar neck, STTA showed excellent (ICC 0.924; CI 95% 0.862–0.959) and mTT-ratio provided high (ICC 0.836; CI 95% 0.721–0.909) interobserver reliability, respectively. For tibio-talar offset measurement the tibCOR method showed superior reliability and better interobserver agreement compared to the procLAT technique. The STTA and a modified T-T ratio are recommended for future scientific radiographic measurements in AA.

У грудні 2019 року з міста Ухань (провінція Хубей, Китай) надійшли перші повідомлення про COVID-19 – захворювання, спричинене новим тяжким гострим респіраторним синдромом коронавірусної етіології (SARS-CoV-2). З цього часу ця хвороба стала світовою пандемією. На сьогоднішній день загинуло понад 2,8 мільйона осіб (ВООЗ, 2021). Вірус SARS-CoV-2 став сьомим відомим варіантом коронавірусу, патогенним для людини.
Метою огляду була оцінка впливу інфекції SARS-CoV-2 на поширеність ГПМК у країнах світу.
Матеріал і методи. Ретроспективне дослідження проведене за матеріалами міжнародних баз даних (CDC, ВООЗ), а також реєстрів ГПМК (SITS, resQ, DAP, GSR, SSR, LASE). Проведене зіставлення інкременту захворюваності на SARS-CoV-2 та ГПМК у динаміці з моменту виявлення перших випадків COVID-19. Статистичну обробку проводили за допомогою програмного забезпечення Statistica 13.0 (TIBCO Inc., США).
Результати. Частота ГПМК у світі корелює з поширеністю SARS-CoV-2. На ранніх стадіях пандемії COVID-19 відбувалося меншення захворюваності на ГПМК у розвинутих країнах. Існуючі міжнародні реєстри ГПМК відображають збереження цієї тенденції.
Висновки. 1. Пандемія COVID-19 пов᾽язана із глобальним зменшенням звернення за спеціалізованою медичною допомогою при ГПМК, що впливає на загальну кількість госпіталізацій та число процедур механічної тромбектомії. 2. Незважаючи на географічні розбіжності, це зменшення обсягу спостерігалося незалежно від тягаря госпіталізації COVID-19 та обсягів госпіталізації хворих з ГПМК у допандемічний період.

Accumulating evidence has suggested a correlation of tumor infiltrating B cells (TiBcs) and a good prognosis of cancer diseases. In some cases, TiBcs appear to have experienced antigen stimulation since they have undergone class-switching and somatic hypermutation and formed tertiary lymphoid structures around tumors together with T cells. Assuming TiBcs include those that recognize some tumor antigens, we sought to investigate their possible usefulness for cell-mediated immunotherapies. To expand usually small number of TiBcs in vitro, we modified our B cell culture system: we transduced B cells with ERT2-Bach2 so that they grow unlimitedly provided with tamoxifen, IL-21 and our original feeder cells. Such cells differentiate into plasma cells and produce antibodies upon withdrawal of tamoxifen, and further by addition of a Bach2-inhibitor in vitro. As a preliminary experiment, thus expanded splenic B cells expressing a transgenic antigen receptor/antibody against hen egg lysozyme were intravenously injected into mice pre-implanted with B16 melanoma cells expressing membrane-bound HEL in the skin, which resulted in suppression of the growth of B16 tumors and prolonged survival of the recipient mice. To test the usefulness of TiBcs for the immunotherapy, we next used APCmin/+ mice as a model that spontaneously develop intestinal tumors. We cultured TiBcs separated from the tumors of APCmin/+ mice as above and confirmed that the antibodies they produce recognize the APCmin/+ tumor. Repeated injection of such TiBcs into adult APCmin/+ mice resulted in suppression of intestinal tumor growth and elongation of the survival of the recipient mice. Serum antibody from the TiBc-recipient mice selectively bound to an antigen expressed in the tumor of APCmin/+ mice. These data suggest a possibility of the novel individualized cancer immunotherapy, in which TiBcs from surgically excised tumor tissues are expanded and infused into the donor patients.

Annotation. The aim of the study was to assess the characteristics of hemostasis and the formation of a scar on the uterus in women who underwent conservative myomectomy. Medical records of 426 women with a scar on the uterus were analyzed. The results of pathomorphological examination of biopsy materials obtained in the area of the “old” scar during myomectomy with recurrence of fibroids with a gestational age of 33 to 40 weeks. The micromorphological structure of postoperative scars and pericycatric region of the myometrium was determined and immunohistochemical examination was performed on serial paraffin sections of biopsy material using primary and secondary monoclonal antibodies of Dako kits (USA). To quantify the immunohistochemical results in the sections, the number of cells in which the immunoperoxidase label (positive staining) was detected in 10 fields of view randomly selected (>200 cells) was counted. FW expression was determined using a semi-quantitative method with H-score calculation. Statistical processing of the obtained results was performed by non-parametric methods using the software TIBCO Statistica 13.5 (USA). It was shown that 40.1% of uterine scars are due to conservative myomectomy. In the postoperative period, patients who underwent conservative myomectomy have a tendency to hypercoagulation, while the frequency of thromboembolic complications after conservative myomectomy does not exceed 3%. High FW expression indicates the presence of endothelial dysfunction and should be taken into account when assessing the risk of thromboembolic complications in patients after conservative myomectomy.

Introduction/Objective. Continuing Medical Education (CME) is a crucial element to keep the level of professionalism in the three key fields of medical education: pre-clinical, clinical, and public health. The profile of CME in Serbia has been analyzed for the 2011?2017 period. Methods. Between 2011 and 2017, 11,557 courses of CME have been submitted for accreditation, described by 26 variables. Due to the predominance of nominal data, we employed a principal component analysis (PCA) using the nonlinear iterative partial least squares algorithm (PCA/PLS) to arrange the 16 variables with complete information in such a way that most influential factors could be displayed and ranked. The analysis was done with TIBCO Statistical Software. Results. The Faculty of Medicine of Belgrade takes the top position among the medical faculties in Serbia with 569 courses or 47.9% (n = 1187; 2011?2017), whereas non-educational institutions with 86.2% of all courses (n = 11,514) are the most dominant providers. Clinical topics dominate the thematic spectrum with 59.7%. Between 2012 and 2017, the total number of courses offered diminished by 16.9%. A PCA of 16 potential determinants of CME reveals that the most relevant ones are duration, credit points, price, and number of lecturers. Conclusion. For the last decade, a standstill or even a regression in the development can be observed. Especially the faculties of medicine in Serbia, as well as other major providers, should reconsider the entire structure of their administrative organization and initiate innovative development.

Introduction: The specialty training system in Poland is subject to constant changes on the formal and legal as well as qualitative and quantitative levels. These changes should be analysed on an ongoing basis to assess the directions of development of education for medical specialists.
Objective of the paper: The study aimed to determine the quantitative changes taking place in the system of specialty training of physicians in general and in ten most numerous fields of medicine in the years 2011-2018.
Material and methods: Data from the register of physicians undergoing specialty training conducted by the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education from 2011 to 2018 constituted the material for analysis. The analysis of the material was of quantitative character. The data analysis was performed using the Statistica 12 Software (TIBCO Software Inc., Palo Alto, CA, the USA).
Results: The analysis of data from the register of physicians undergoing specialty training indicates that the number of physicians who trained to be specialists and the percentage of women in the group increased in the years 2011-2018. In the period in question, the percentage of doctors in training within a residency, the number of specialty training providers the number of training places and the use of training places enabling them to pursue specialisation rose as well. The situation differed between 10 specialties analysed.
Conclusions: The system of post-graduate education of physicians in Poland in the years 2011-2018 constantly developed and increasingly took advantage of most of its opportunities.

The main goal of master thesis is to analyze and propose possible low cost Business Intelligence solution with open source technologies and comparison of available tools for implementation in middle size company. We compare Pentaho and Jaspersoft tools implemented on local hardware and cloud environment with Microsoft Azure services. The theoretical part focuses mainly on understanding the business intelligence and its architecture, because architecture is an important part of the work. Actual tools are designed as stand alone modules for specific activities in the business intelligence lifecycle. Low cost tools are often connected with open source technologies and cloud computing. This part of the work contains explanation of these terms and their advantages and disadvantages for our chosen target group of companies. The analytical part includes defined parameters by which it is conducted analysis of tools and their comparison. Business Intelligence solutions are divided according to arcitectural layers. The evaluation criteria are divided into financial, technical and user category. In conclusion, chosen tools are compared and evaluated. The main contribution of this thesis is comparison of open source business intelligence tools for implementation in middle size company. According to the EU directive, middle size company does not exceed 250 employees or profit is less than 50 million euros. The reader can compare the different solutions and their pitfalls or shortcomings that could be critical for the implementation.

J? para a composi??o qu?mica dos peixes verificou-se uma maior concentra??o de mat?ria seca com o tratamento contendo antibi?tico na ra??o quando comparado ao grupo controle. O cultivo de juvenis de Brycon amazonicus suplementadas com simbi?tico, antibi?tico e/ou cons?rcio de ambos em baixas temperatura n?o melhora o desempenho dos peixes. Os aditivos estudados n?o interferem nos par?metros de qualidade da ?gua, observado pelas altas taxas de sobreviv?ncia. As condi??es adequadas dispensam o uso de antibi?tico e simbi?tico. Para o segundo experimento, os par?metros de consumo de ra??o, convers?o alimentar e o fator de condi??o de Fulton apresentaram melhores resultados com a inclus?o de antibi?tico na dieta. Two experiments were carried out, the first one to evaluate the influence of the symbiotic antibiotic florfenicol and the consortium of both, and the second one evaluated the symbiotic, antibiotic and probiotic effects in the cultivation of juveniles of matrinx? raised in low temperature, on the variables of productive performance, che mical composition of fish, water quality and cortisol analysis. In the first experiment, 250 juveniles were selected, with weight and length of 0,38 ? 0,07 g and 3,24 ? 0,19 cm, respectively, under the following treatments: control - water and feed without additive; SIMR - 2 g.kg - 1 of symbiotic in ration; ANTAG - 0.002 g.L - 1 of antibiotic in water; ANTAG + SIMR - 0.002 g.L - 1 of antibiotic in water and 2 g.kg - 1 of symbiotic in ration; ANTR - 0.01 g.kg - 1 of antibiotic in the diet, arranged in a completely ran domized design, with five treatments and five replicates of 10 fish per aquarium. In the second experiment 200 animals were used, with weight and length of 2.38 ? 0.51 g and 6.32 ? 0.52 cm, respectively, under the following treatments: Control - ration wit hout inclusion of additive; PROBR - 10 g.kg - 1 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the diet; SIMBR - 2 g.kg - 1 of symbiotic in ration; ANTR - 0.01 g.kg - 1 of antibiotic in the diet, arranged in a completely randomized design with five treatments and five of 10 fis h per aquarium. The two experiments had a duration of 60 days in a closed water recirculation system in the Aquaculture and Aquatic Ecology Sector of the UFVJM. For the first experiment the juveniles of matrinx? presented no difference to the parameters of productive performance and survival in any of the evaluated treatments. For the chemical composition of the fish, a higher concentration of dry matter was observed with the treatment containing antibiotic in the diet when compared to the control group. Th e cultivation of juveniles of Brycon amazonicus supplemented with symbiotic, antibiotic and/or consortium of both at low temperature does not improve fish performance. The additives studied did not interfere in the parameters of water quality, observed by the high survival rates. Adequate conditions do not require antibiotic and symbiotic use. For the second experiment, the parameters of feed intake, feed conversion and Fulton condition factor presented better results with the inclusion of antibiotic in the diet. Treatments with probiotic in the diet, symbiotic in ration and antibiotic in ration, had lower levels of plasma cortisol when compared to the control group. Therefore, the use of antibiotic to improve the yield of matrinx?, and antibiotic, symbiotic and probiotic culture as an anti - stressing factor is indicated.

Previous issue date: 2012-01-12Ethics, aesthetic and education are the basic concepts in this present investigation, which has as its guiding paradigm, critical theory of Theodor Adorno. Form the basis the allow us to conceive the post-metaphysical subject in Adorno, under what conditions is possible defend the enlargement of the experience like a way of the constitution of the subjectivity, which is the basis of the moral consciousness, and that ethic signification comes to the education, in view of the subject that, morally, need to be constituted based on the experience? Starting from this problem, the general goal is to discuss the post-metaphysical subjectivity notion in Adorno, to establish, based in such subject, an ethical and educational meaning, able to guide the human formation and the moral consciousness development. As theoretical indicative, the thesis proposes that, in the moment that the education becomes an enrichment promoter of the formation experiences, is possible the enlargement of the way that happens the constitution and the development of the ethic subject. This guides us to the constitution of the environment in which the mankind is inside, this environment is called language. Therefore, the defense is about the linguistic shape as the ethical challenge of human development.It is articulated the aesthetic as a foundation under which is possible to defend the enlargement of the concept of the experience and the constitution of the subjectivity. The theoretical approach starts with a discussion on how the constitution of subjectivity and moral consciousness in Kant happens, whose foundation lies in the concepts of order and freedom, to, after, understand the change proposed by Adorno, in which aesthetics is intimately related to ethics, as is evident from the terms of concrete constellation, communication and real content. The method is analytical and conceptual, creating a confrontation between these two philosophical strands, while proposing significance to educational practice in the school environment. The propose o recognize the other as a concrete, who is inserted in a linguistic environment, and the necessity for the classroom to be an ideal place in which this environment should be shaped, is an ethical alternative to the formation, from which we can glimpse the school as a place of development and qualification of the human.

Avaliou-se em dois experimentos a influ?ncia do efeito do simbi?tico, da levedura (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) e antibi?tico no cultivo de juvenis de til?pias do Nilo sobre as vari?veis de desempenho produtivo, resposta ao estresse por exposi??o ao ar e composi??o bromatol?gica da composi??o corp?rea dos peixes. Foram utilizados 250 e 625 juvenis de til?pia do Nilo (machos) no primeiro e segundo experimento, respectivamente e ambos tiveram dura??o de 56 dias. Os peixes foram distribu?dos em delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com cinco tratamentos, cinco repeti??es, totalizando 10 e 25 peixes aqu?rio-1, respectivamente. No primeiro experimento utilizando o simbi?tico, o antibi?tico e seu cons?rcio no cultivo de til?pias nil?ticas foram observadas diferen?as para os par?metros de peso final, ganho de peso, biomassa, consumo de ra??o, convers?o alimentar, sobreviv?ncia e mat?ria seca da composi??o corp?rea dos peixes, sendo o melhor resultado observado para os peixes cultivados com antibi?tico na ?gua e simbi?tico na ra??o (3A). A adi??o de simbi?tico na ra??o comercial no cultivo de juvenis de til?pia do Nilo mostrou-se eficaz para a melhoria do desempenho produtivo e quando suplementado em cons?rcio com antibi?tico teve seu efeito potencializado. No segundo experimento foi suplementada a levedura S. cerevisiae, o antibi?tico e seu cons?rcio para juvenis da mesma esp?cie, entretanto foram observadas diferen?as para os par?metros como consumo de ra??o, convers?o alimentar e sobreviv?ncia, sendo os melhores valores observados para as til?pias que alimentaram da ra??o com adi??o de antibi?tico (4B). Quanto ?s an?lises bromatol?gicas das composi??es corp?reas dos peixes cultivados com antibi?tico na ?gua e levedura na ra??o (3B) apresentaram maior valor para a mat?ria seca e extrato et?reo em rela??o ao tratamento controle. Ao analisar o cortisol plasm?tico ap?s as til?pias terem sido expostas ao ar, os resultados apresentaram similaridade e n?o diferiram entre si. O antibi?tico demonstrou-se eficaz para uma melhor convers?o alimentar e sobreviv?ncia de juvenis de til?pias do Nilo.

The aim of the two experiments was to evaluate the influence of the symbiotic, the yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and the antibiotic in Nile tilapia juveniles on productive performance, hypoxia stress response and the bromatological composition of the fish carcass. Fish were cultured for 56 days, and 250 and 625 Nile tilapia juveniles (males) were used in the first and second experiments, respectively. Fish were distributed in a completely randomized design, with five treatments and five replications, totalizing 10 and 25 fish/aquarium-1, respectively. On the first experiment, utilizing the symbiotic, the antibiotic and its consociation in Nile tilapia juveniles were observed statistic difference between the treatments for the following parameters: final weight, weight gain, biomass, consumption, feed conversion, survivability, and dry matter of the carcass where the best result was observed in the water with antibiotic and symbiotic added to food (3A). The administration of symbiotic on the food for Nile tilapia juvenile was efficient to promote performance on Fish and can be potentialized by the consociation with the antibiotic. On the second experiment yeast (S. cerevisiae), antibiotic and its consociation were supplemented for the same juvenile species, however, statistic differences were observed between the treatments for the following parameters: consumption, feed conversion, and survivability where the best result observed in tilapias fed with the antibiotic in the diet (4B). The bromatological analysis of fish carcass of fish cultured in water added with antibiotics and yeast in the diet (3B) shown betters results for dry matter, and lipid analysis when compared to control. However, the cortisol after the air exposition has shown similarity for all treatments. Thus, the yeast S. cerevisiae is an alternative to the use of antibiotics as a growth promoter in Nile tilapia juveniles.

Previous issue date: 2008-08-04This study is part of the line of research of Pedagogical Practices and the Formation of the Educator. It shows how poetry has been worked into high school literature classes in public and private schools in the State of S?o Paulo and how contemporary student readers have accepted poetry texts. Interest in this research came from the teacher-researcher who, as a lover of poetry, shares poetic readings with her students and observes the surprise and enchantment that the poetic text can offer to dynamics in the classroom. Initially, theoretical references were sought that could justify the importance of ethics and esthetics for teaching art, poetry and erudite literature in the schools; this was followed by an historical reflection about the roots of poetry in the Greco-Latin tradition, as well as studying the nascent relation between poetry and education in ancient times until the arrival of this pedagogical tradition in national soil. Also, according to an historical perspective, certain moments were pointed out concerning significant changes in the history of reading, books, literature and the concept of poetry in education from ancient times to the modern era. Afterwards, empirical research was done using the methodology of taped oral interviews with teachers of Portuguese in both types of schools in the State. The purpose was to investigate what they understand as poetic and how to create teaching-learning of literature through poetry in the schools where they teach, which led to running into criticism and suggestions from the educators. The voice of the teachers was analyzed in dialogues with authors of educational theory and education. The conclusion was that poetry, reflection on language, non-submission and pleasure deserve privileged space in school discourse.
Esta disserta??o, inserida na linha de pesquisa Pr?ticas Pedag?gicas e Forma??o do Educador, mostra como a poesia tem sido trabalhada nas aulas de literatura do Ensino M?dio de escolas da rede p?blica e privada de ensino do estado de S?o Paulo e como os alunos-leitores contempor?neos t?m recepcionado o texto po?tico. O interesse por esta pesquisa nasceu da experi?ncia da professora-pesquisadora, que ? amante da poesia e, portanto, compartilha leituras po?ticas com os alunos, atentando para o estranhamento e para o encantamento que o texto po?tico ? capaz de proporcionar nas din?micas em sala de aula. Buscaram-se, inicialmente, referenciais te?ricos que justificassem a import?ncia ?tica e est?tica de se ensinar arte, poesia e literatura erudita na escola; em seguida, uma reflex?o hist?rica acerca das ra?zes da poesia na cultura ocidental greco-latina, bem como pesquisou-se o ber?o da rela??o poesia-educa??o na Antig?idade at? o ingresso dessa tradi??o pedag?gica em solo nacional. Ainda dentro de uma perspectiva hist?rica, foram assinalados momentos de ruptura que mudaram significativamente a hist?ria da leitura, do livro, da literatura e da concep??o de poesia na educa??o, da Antig?idade ? Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível SuperiorO Tico-Tico foi uma das primeiras revistas ilustradas para crianças no Brasil. Criada em 1905 na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, circulou por mais de cinqüenta anos em um mercado jornalístico considerado instável. Pela capacidade de condensar muitas das questões e demandas características de seu tempo, O Tico-Tico se configura como acontecimento. Na dissertação aqui apresentada, nos concentramos na análise da criação da revistinha infantil e da conjunção de fatores que permitiu o nascimento de uma publicação tida por grandes nomes da intelectualidade nacional como um marco na infância de gerações de brasileiros. Procuramos, desta forma, recuperar o contexto em que ela foi criada a partir da própria publicação seus quadrinhos, historinhas e lições dirigidas à formação dos futuros cidadãos da República. A partir da imprensa e seu processo de modernização, com especial foco na revista O Malho, procuramos perceber a articulação do campo intelectual carioca da Primeira República em espaços de sociabilidades, como as redações de jornais, na proposição e encaminhamento de projetos em que estava em jogo o enfrentamento da questão nacional. O Tico-Tico foi um desses projetos que pretendeu dar corpo a um desejo intelectual de educar as crianças e jovens brasileiros, infantes como o próprio Brasil.
O Tico-Tico was one of the first illustrated magazines in Brazil to be conceived for children. It appeared in Rio de Janeiro in 1905, and went on circulation for the following fifty years, despite the unstable press industry. For the power to condense many of its times questions and demands, O Tico-Tico constellate na event. In this thesis, our focus is on the analysis of the birth of the magazine, and the factors that allowed the birth of a magazine that defined a landmark in the childhood of generations of brazilians, as many intelectuals have called it. By following these lines, it is our intention to trace the context of the magazines creation from within its own pages and its illustrations, short stories and lessons to Republics future citizens. Out of press rooms and modernization, with special attention to O Malho magazine, we look for a glimpse on how Rio de Janeiros intellectual campus articulated the proposal and conduction of projects in which national problems were debated, setting sociabilites spaces such as press rooms. O Tico-Tico was one of these projects that intended to embody a blazing intellectual desire to teach kids and young brazilians, as young as Brazil itself.

Investigations in the field of pharmaceutical analysis and quality control of medicines require analytical procedures with good perfomance characteristics. Calibration is one of the most important steps in chemical analysis, presenting direct relation to parameters such as linearity. This work consisted in the development of a new methodology to obtain calibration curves for drug analysis: the stationary cuvette one. It was compared to the currently used methodology, and possible sources of variation between them were evaluated. The results demonstrated that the proposed technique presented similar reproducibility compared to the traditional methodology. In addition to that, some advantages were observed, such as user-friendliness, cost-effectiveness, accuracy, precision and robustness. Therefore, the stationary cuvette methodology may be considered the best choice to obtain calibration curves for drug analyis by spectrophotometry
As investiga??es no campo do controle de qualidade e da an?lise de f?rmacos requerem procedimentos anal?ticos com boas caracter?sticas de desempenho. A calibra??o ? uma das etapas mais importantes na an?lise qu?mica, apresentando a rela??o direta aos par?metros tais como linearidades. Este trabalho consistiu no desenvolvimento de uma metodologia nova para obter curvas de calibra??o para a an?lise de f?rmaco: a cubeta estacion?ria. Esta dissertação quer identificar as práticas dos professores surdos, especificamente quanto aos jogos didáticos usados por eles com os estudantes surdos. Ela parte das questões em que os sÃmbolos culturais são significados e ressignificados continuadamente, num processo sem fim, o que conforme esta afirmação de Stuart Hall (2003) é possÃvel e se aproxima da perspectiva de Tizuko Kishimoto (2011) em que os jogos se tornam o eixo didático especÃfico, para a aquisição de informações pelos estudantes. Os professores surdos assumiram esta teoria e mediante criação, adaptação e tradução, produziram jogos didáticos surdos para a educação bilÃngue. O problema tratado tem por objetivo identificar os jogos didáticos com que os professores surdos subsidiam a educação bilÃngue. A metodologia se desenvolve no mapeamento com base no uso das narrativas destes professores surdos sobre suas experiências de criação, tradução e adaptação de jogos, bem como a aplicação dos mesmos aos estudantes surdos. Esta atividade dos professores surdos em educação bilÃngue fez surgir os jogos didáticos surdos, assim identificados por conterem significados culturais. Estes jogos didáticos surdos se mostram dinâmicos, seja no ensino de LÃngua de Sinais, Português escrito ou outras disciplinas. E tornam o ensino bilÃngue simples, alegre, convidativo e chamativo, como atestam as narrativas dos professores entrevistados.
Abstract : This thesis wants to identify the practices of deaf teachers, specifically as to educational games used by them with deaf students. It part of the questions wherein the cultural symbols are signified and resignified continuously in an endless process which according to this statement of Stuart Hall (2003) is possible and approach the prospect of Tizuko Kishimoto (2011) in which the games become the specific didactic axis for the acquisition of information by students. The deaf teachers took this theory and upon the establishment, adaptation and translation, produced didactic deaf games to the bilingual education. The treaty issue aims to identify the educational games with that the deaf teachers subsidize the bilingual education. The methodology is developed in the mapping based on the use of the narratives of deaf teachers about their experiences of games creation, translation and adaptation as well as the games application to the deaf students. This activity of the deaf teachers in bilingual education originated the deaf educational games, identified in this way because they contain cultural meanings. These deaf educational games are dynamic in teaching sign language, Portuguese writing or other disciplines. And make the bilingual education, simple, joyful, attractive and interestingly as evidenced by the narratives of the interviewed teachers.

The interest for this study arose from the practice of the researcher as a teacher. Aimed to understand what being a teacher, and the teacher-student relationship in kindergarten, contributing significantly to the teaching practice and the teaching-learning process. In Brazil, recent public policies for education, point to the importance of collective work for teachers and students. In this sense, this research located in the area of Human Sciences, relied on studies of major theorists in the field of groupality such as Rivi?re (1986), Bion (1975), Anzieu (1993) and Ka?s (1997), to understand be the teacher within a psychoanalytic perspective group. From the interface between Psychoanalysis and Education, was proposed through this theoretical reflection, thinking about the possible use of psychoanalysis in schools, as well as the challenges and prospects of this profession. We conclude that the possible path includes a practice that allows profisssional spaces and moments to share experiences and knowledge free movement of teachers across operating groups.
Esta pesquisa apresentou um estudo sobre o ser professor com base no referencial te?rico psicanal?tico. O interesse por este estudo surgiu a partir da pr?tica da pesquisadora como docente. Teve como prop?sito compreender o ser professor, bem como a rela??o professor aluno na Educa??o Infantil, contribuindo de forma significativa para a pr?tica pedag?gica e o processo de ensino-aprendizagem. No Brasil, as recentes pol?ticas p?blicas para a Educa??o, apontam para a import?ncia do trabalho coletivo para professores e alunos. Neste sentido, esta pesquisa inserida na ?rea das Ci?ncias Humanas, apoiou-se nos estudos de importantes te?ricos no campo da grupalidade, tais como: Pichon-Rivi?re (1986), Bion (1975), Anzieu (1993) e Ka?s (1997), para compreender o ser professor dentro de uma ?tica psicanal?tica de grupo. A partir da interface entre Psican?lise e Educa??o, foi proposto por meio desta reflex?o te?rica, pensar no uso possivel da psican?lise nas escolas, bem como, dos desafios e perspectivas desta profiss?o. Conclui-se que o caminho possivel contempla uma pr?tica profisssional que possibilite espa?os e momentos de compartilhar de experi?ncias e livre circula??o do saber dos professores atrav?s de grupos operativos.

Rotational ankle injuries are one of the most common musculoskeletal problems treated by orthopaedic surgeons. The distal tibio-fibular syndesmosis may be disrupted during injury resulting in ankle instability. The goal of surgery is to restore anatomic relation of tibia, fibula, and talus. Any malreduction including that of the syndesmosis may result in poor clinical outcomes [1]. While currently accepted radiographic criteria can adequately detect tibio-fibular diasthesis or translation malreductions, it is not yet clear if the currently these criteria are equally suited for detection of rotational malreductions of the tibio-fibular syndesmosis [2]. The goal of this study is to quantify the sensitivity of fluoroscopic measurements of tibio-fibular overlap (TFO) and tibio-fibular clear space (TCS) to rotational malreductions of the syndesmosis. Standard x-ray imaging will be compared with a 3D fluoroscan which will simulate postoperative CT [3].

Genu valgum is a cause of knee pain and early arthritis which requires therapeutic action with external braces or surgery at a young age. This paper describes an image processing workflow and validation study for automatic characterization of the valgus deformity (i.e. genu valgum) from tibio-femoral x-ray radiographs. We implement an image processing pipeline starting with basic filtering and bone segmentation, followed by application of a Hough transform to determine the centerline of the diaphyses of the femur and tibia based on which a TF subtended angle is measured for each leg. Feasibility of this workflow is demonstrated on 21 short TF radiographs. The automatically computed angles were highly correlated (r2 = 0.85 and p≪0.001) to the ground truth with a mean absolute error as low as 1.97°.
