With the increasing numbers of passengers, it is very difficult for ticket selling work. In this paper, the design of auto ticket selling system is an information management system integrated by wireless asynchronous communication technology, video and image process technology, data encryption and large scale database technology. By using this system, the passengers can search the information and buy tickets automatically to reduce the passengers' waiting time. It has been applied to one passenger station in Liaoning province, and it has a good effect.

Full text
Abstract:
AbstractWe consider the broad problem of analyzing safety properties of asynchronous concurrent programs under arbitrary thread interleavings. Delay-bounded deterministic scheduling, introduced in prior work, is an efficient bug-finding technique to curb the large cost associated with full scheduling nondeterminism. In this paper we first present a technique to lift the delay bound for the case of finite-domain variable programs, thus adding to the efficiency of bug detection the ability to prove safety of programs under arbitrary thread interleavings. Second, we demonstrate how, combined with predicate abstraction, our technique can both refute and verify safety properties of programs with unbounded variable domains, even for unbounded thread counts. Previous work has established that, for non-trivial concurrency routines, predicate abstraction induces a highly complex abstract program semantics. Our technique, however, never statically constructs an abstract parametric program; it only requires some abstract-states set to be closed under certain actions, thus eliminating the dependence on the existence of verification algorithms for abstract programs. We demonstrate the efficiency of our technique on many examples used in prior work, and showcase its simplicity compared to earlier approaches on the unbounded-thread Ticket Lock protocol.

Abstract:
This chapter demonstrates several approaches for dealing with hard problems. These approaches include brute force, heuristics, and approximation. Typically, no single technique will suffice to handle the difficult NP problems one needs to solve. For moderate-sized problems one can search over all possible solutions with the very fast computers available today. One can use algorithms that might not work for every problem but do work for many of the problems one cares about. Other algorithms may not find the best possible solution but still a solution that's good enough. Other times one just cannot get a solution for an NP-complete problem. One has to try to solve a different problem or just give up.

Abstract:
This chapter explores two separate paths that led to the P versus NP question. In the end it was Steve Cook in the West and Leonid Levin in the East who would first ask whether P = NP. Science does not happen in a vacuum, and both sides have a long history leading to the work of Cook and Levin. The chapter covers just a small part of those research agendas, the struggle in the West to understand efficient computation and the struggle in the East to understand the necessity of perebor. Both would lead to P versus NP. Today, with most academic work available over the Internet and with generally open travel around the world, there is now one large research community instead of two separate ones.

Abstract:
This chapter explores some of today's great challenges of computing. These challenges include parallel computation, dealing with big data, and the networking of everything. The chapter then argues that P versus NP goes well beyond a simple mathematical puzzle. The P versus NP problem is a way of thinking, a way to classify computational problems by their inherent difficulty. P versus NP also brings communities together. There are NP-complete problems in physics, biology, economics, and many other fields. Physicists and economists work on very different problems, but they share a commonality that can give great benefits from sharing tools and techniques. Tools developed to find the ground state of a physical system can help find equilibrium behavior in a complex economic environment. Ultimately, the inherent difficulty of NP problems leads to new technologies.

Abstract:
This chapter analyzes how, in 1976, Whitfield Diffie and Martin Hellman suggested that one could use NP to hide one's own secrets. The field of cryptography, the study of secret messages, changed forever. Diffie and Hellman, building on earlier work of Roger Merkle, proposed a method to get around the problem of network security using what they called “public-key” cryptography. A computer would generate two keys, a public key and a private key. The computer would store the private key, never putting that key on the network. The public key would be sent over the network broadcast to everyone. Diffie and Hellman's idea was to develop a cryptosystem that used the public key for encrypting messages, turning the real message into a coded one. The public key would not be able to decrypt the message. Only the private key could decrypt the message.

The case for carefully crafted new global taxes, including air ticket taxes and currency transaction taxes, is also considered. This study investigates the attributes that create brand trust in internet retailing through the replication of the work of Ruparelia, White and Hughes (2010) using two different purchase categories: apparels and travel accommodation. Quantitative methodology was employed through survey method involving 180 respondents. There are ten independent variables include website security, website privacy, website brand name, word-of-mouth, website design & navigation, information, returns policy, country of origin, past experience, advertising and testimonials and one dependent variable which is brand trust. Security, privacy, word of mouth, design & navigation, and past experience were proven to have direct linear effects towards web brand trust. On the other hand, brand name, information, returns policy, country of origin and advertising & testimonials have weak relationships with web brand trust. Respondents who purchased clothing apparel were more concerned of the country of origin than respondents who purchased ticket accommodation.

Abstract:
Spotted fever or tick fever, a disease transmitted by ticks, has a high case-fatality rate when a treatment is not started early. To reduce the cases of tick fever, many acaricides are used for keeping control of tick population. However, these tests are done manually. To choose the most effective acaricide, a specialist has to count how many ticks are dead and how many are still alive after subjecting them to it. This test is time-consuming, so this work aims to automate this procedure. Therefore, it is proposed a computational methodology to automate this procedure through image processing.

Abstract:
Abstract This paper discusses the design, building, and testing of a novel robot that is used to collect ticks in a variety of rugged terrains in remote areas. The robot provides a new approach for US Army Medical Researchers or other biologists to collect the insects remotely by using a robot equipped with a vision system and GPS. The approach will change the way that insects are being collected with automation instead of human manual work. The robot is designed to operate in different terrains, including soft grass, dirt, muddy soil, and rocky surface. The robot is weighted within 30 lbs., s
