Abstract To improve the reliability of the output and input power planning in interconnected regions in day-ahead dispatch scenarios, it is necessary to reasonably measure the feasible region of tie-line cross-region power exchanges. Due to the large number of day-ahead dispatch periods, it is difficult to solve the tie-line feasible region. Therefore, this paper first selects the adjacent periods to reconstruct the feasible region model and proposes a method to synthesize the feasible region of each day-ahead dispatch period. The leveling errors are determined in a least-squares sense from the reference line and the adjacent line to be leveled. Summary Thermodynamic equilibrium computations are usually the most time-consuming component in compositional reservoir flow simulation. A compositional space adaptive tabulation (CSAT) approach was developed as a preconditioner for equation of state (EOS) computations in isothermal compositional simulation. The compositional space is decomposed into sub- and supercritical regions. In the subcritical region, we adaptively parameterize the compositional space using a small number of tie-lines, which are assembled into a table. Over many decades it has been accepted that the most economical way to produce a pipeline is to join together the standard lengths of pipe as quickly as possible, using a highly mobile task force of welders and other technicians, leaving tie-ins, crossings, etc. to smaller specialist crews. The work pattern which evolved almost invariably involved several crews of welders strung out along the pipelines, progress being controlled by the rate at which the leading pair could complete the weld root.
