In order to improve the rotation invariant property of the conventional template matching method, a novel template matching based on the polar coordinate was proposed. The origin of the polar coordinate was at the center of the template. And the matching result was central symmetry, which made the method have the translation and rotation invariant properties simultaneously. The recognition process was divided into two phased. In the first phase, gray information was used to complete matching calculation, and some candidate points were selected according to the matching result. In the second ph

Abstract We study the dynamics of quantum statistical ensembles at first-order phase transition points of finite macroscopic systems. First, we show that at the first-order phase transition point of the system, with an order parameter that does not commute with the Hamiltonian, any quantum state with an order parameter that has a nonzero value always evolves towards a macroscopically distinct state after a sufficiently long time. From this result, we argue that the stationarity required for statistical ensembles should be interpreted as stationarity on a sufficiently long but finite timescale.

Abstract The safety injection system (RIS)is a large and complex fluid system in a nuclear power plant. Its central role is to ensure the safety of the core in the event of a breach event in the first circuit of the nuclear power plant. In order to investigate the timing of the safe injection system at the time of a Small-Break Loss-Of-Coolant Accident (SBLOCA), this paper uses the GO-FLOW method to model seven time points in the three operational phases of the safe injection system. The calculation is completed in conjunction with the failure rate of each component to give the reliability of

Abstract The magnitude-based Fourier descriptors (FD) are frequently used in shape-based image retrieval, due to their efficiency and effectiveness. Unlike the phase-preserving Fourier descriptors, the magnitude-based Fourier descriptors are inherently invariant under rotation and starting point change, but they discard all valuable information contained in the phase of the Fourier coefficients (FCs). In order to preserve the coefficients’ phase, the orientation and starting point of the shape must be determined. In this paper, we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of different state-of-the-

The demand rate for the nonlinear ramp curve is deterministic, changes over time until a pivotal moment, and remains constant. The problem of bringing a trajectory to a neighborhood of zero under disturbance is considered in terms of a differential pursuit game. The dynamics are described by a nonlinear autonomous system of second-order differential equations. The set of values of the pursuer's controls is finite, and that of the evader (disturbance) is compact. The goal of the control, that is, the goal of the pursuer, is to bring, within a finite time, the trajectory to any predetermined neighborhood of zero, regardless of the actions of the disturbance. To construct the control, the pursuer knows only the phase coo

In addition, a theoretical analysis examines the stability of the zero equilibrium point. It proves that the map generates typical nonlinear features, including chaos, which is confirmed numerically: phase attractors are plotted in a two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) space, bifurc

Describing asymmetric first-order phase transitions by an order parameter distribution, there is a controversy in the literature concerning the relative normalization of the two occurring peaks. There are two rules for normalizing the distribution, called the “equal weight”-rule and the “equal height”-rule, which lead to different predictions of the finite-size scaling. We tested these predictions for an asymmetric model with two co-existing phases by means of a Monte Carlo simulation. We find overwhelming numerical evidence in favour of the “equal weight”-rule, showing at the same time that t

The critical date is exemplified by a basic text, such as the Constitution, or the judicially identified date of settlement, sovereignty or territorial control of a territory by the state. It is important to note that these parameters can be used for timing, positioning, atmospheric inversion and so on. In response to this problem, the receiver clock jumps are divided into two types.
