Abstract:
After the presidential election, which inevitably causes conflict and division, there has always been a discussion of national unity. A consolidation committee with a similar name has been established and operated for tax purposes. However, there is no true definition of national unity. This study determined and defined the meaning of true national unity based on constitutional studies and analyzed the specific method of national unity using Axelrod's TFT strategy. After the presidential election, the unification discussion that pursues the abstract good without justice can be used as an indul

Abstract:
Positional voting fails both the Independence of Irrelevant Alternatives and the Independence of Clones criteria. It is therefore vulnerable to the strategic nomination of insincere candidates that may adversely affect election outcomes. By introducing identical clones, other candidates may be either promoted or demoted in the resultant collective ranking. The analysis of the ramifications of cloning is restricted here to ‘geometric voting’ vectors where preference weightings form a geometric progression. With the common ratio of the weightings as the sole variable, a full continuous spectrum

The current United States' aggressive and unilateral trade policy, as well as the rapid rise of the Chinese unique economic system – now challenging the constant rules-based trade’s institution and global trading system. In the current on-going US-China trade spat, the European Union (EU) has a substantial interest, even if it has been so far reasonably kept from the United States (US) aggressive trade policy and the reaction of China. In such unpredictable circumstances, I begin to argue that the EU should adopt a practically independent trade policy, which can be made renderi

Nickel ore export ban has been imposed by Indonesia as the leading actor on the global nickel supply chain which created a disruption and has not been perceived well by other countries, especially the European Union (EU) countries. This paper will analyze the implications caused by the export ban to EU countries and the actions following it, including the enactment of the palm oil ban. Starting with the World Trade Organization (WTO) panel, the EU’s strategy of forcing Indonesia to lift the export ban has not yet succeeded. With the tit-for-tat strategy, this paper identifies the EU’s palm oil

Abstract:
Abstract Tit-for-tat is a familiar principle from animal behavior: individuals respond in kind to being helped or harmed by others. Remarkably some bacteria appear to display tit-for-tat behavior, but how this evolved is not understood. Here we combine evolutionary game theory with agent-based modelling of bacterial tit-for-tat, whereby cells stab rivals with poisoned needles (the type VI secretion system) after being stabbed themselves. Our modelling shows tit-for-tat retaliation is a surprisingly poor evolutionary strategy, because tit-for-tat cells lack the first-strike advantage of preempt

Abstract:
Abstract The desire for retaliation is a common response across a majority of human societies. However, the neural mechanisms underlying aggression and retaliation remain unclear. Previous studies on social intentions are confounded by a low-level response-related brain activity. Using an Electroencephalogram (EEG)-based brain–computer interface combined with the Chicken Game, our study examined the neural dynamics of aggression and retaliation after controlling for nonessential response-related neural signals. Our results show that aggression is associated with reduced alpha event-related des
