Theoretical and methodological approaches have not been developed, and terminological apparatus for studying the problem of titles for writers has not been developed too. The title of an article is the first chance at catching a reader’s attention. We set to develop a list of title attributes that lead to attractive titles in psychology papers, which could then be used to help instruct undergraduate students on how to write good titles for their papers and projects. Currently, research into successful elements that comprise an effective title is generally limited to publication metrics (the number of hits and citations an article has). The quantitative results reveal that titles in law articles demonstrated 1) an increase in length 2) a favor of single declarative titles and compound titles with colon 3) an obvious trend of using descriptive titles concerning title content. Effective titles captivate readers and encapsulate the essence of a work. This is especially true in novel translation, where titles bridge cultural gaps and introduce readers to new worlds. Thus, it is becoming a crucial consideration for translators when translating a title. They must transfer it meticulously from the source text (ST) into the target text (TT). One of the critical texts to be studied is a novel for its unique naming, which can be a significant challenge for translators. Hence, this study tried to examine how the novel title in English is translated into Indonesian and discov

The popular doctrine of aboriginal title is rejected in favour of the natural rights of the Metis and first principles of aboriginal title. A job title usually implies the responsibility and the rank of a job position. While traditional job title analysis has been focused on studying the responsibilities of job titles, this paper attempts to reveal the rank of job titles. Specifically, we propose to extract job title hierarchy from employees' career trajectories. Along this line, we first quantify the Difficulty of Promotion (DOP) from one job title to another by a monotonic transformation of the length of tenure based on the assumption that a longer tenure usually implies a greater difficulty to be promoted. Then, the difference
