Information Foraging Theory (IFT) explains and predicts how people navigate in response to the information in their environment. It has proven particularly helpful in both behavior prediction and practical utility for Web design. We gleaned from science citation index expanded (SCI-EXPANED) and Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) database on web of science, concerning advances in information foraging research.
