Abstract:
Following the floods of November 2014, several southern regions of Morocco have experienced major losses and damage in particular materials.Among these areas we find the ancient city of Tiznit that lost several of its earth constructions.The particularity of this Medina is the ranking of its built heritage as a national heritage and this since 1932. Given the extent of damage caused by the rains on the Medina, an intervention is necessary in order to preserve what remains of the Earth Heritage. It is in this context that fits this work and which aims to make a technical diagnosis on the state of Medina in order to present an action plan which aims primarily the restoration of this wealth, and therefore the preservation of heritage buildings.

Abstract:
Quality control and traceability of Argan oil requires precise chemical characterization considering different provenances. The fatty acid profile is an essential parameter that certifies the quality and purity of Argan oil. In addition, stable isotopes were recently shown to be accurate as an indicator for geographical origin. In this study, fatty acid composition by gas chromatography (GC) and stable isotope ratio by isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) were investigated for classifying Argan oil according to its geographical origin. Forty-one Argan oil samples, belonging to six geographical origins of Moroccan natural Argan population (Safi, Essaouira, Agadir Ida Outanane, Taroudant, Tiznit and Sidi Ifni) were collected and extracted under the same conditions. The results show that the isotope δ13C, palmitic acid (C16:0), linoleic acid (C18:2) and unsaturated fatty acids (UFA) were strongly influenced by ecological parameters. Linear discriminant analysis (LDA) was performed to discriminate the six studied provenances. Discriminant models predicted the origin of Argan oil with 92.70% success. Samples from Safi, Essaouira and Agadir Ida Outanane presented the highest classification rate (100%). In contrast, the lowest rate was reported for samples from Tiznit (85.70%). The findings obtained for fatty acids and isotope combination might be considered as an accurate tool for determining the geographical origins of Argan oil. Moreover, they can potentially be used as specific markers for oils labeled with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).

It is therefore essential to find a new generation of scale inhibitors, which is distinguished, on the one hand, by a better inhibiting effectiveness of calcium carbonate, and, on the other hand, by their ecological effect due to the respect of health and environment norms.

Abstract:
The Tiznit region has an arid to semi-arid climate. Rainfall is scarce and the reuse of wastewater for crop irrigation is common, and consequently groundwater can be contaminated by chemical and biological pollutants. A wastewater treatment plant is constructed with the aim of producing water suitable for reuse in agriculture and reducing groundwater pollution. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of factors that may influence groundwater quality, namely wastewater reuse and fertilizer use in the region. Groundwater was collected monthly over 1 year from five shallow wells (P1–P5) and analysed for a range of physicochemical and microbiological parameters. Concentrations frequently exceeded the WHO standards for potable water. The average concentration of nitrate was 98 mg/L. Conductivity varied from 1,930 to 2,500 μS/cm over four of the wells but was 11,703 in P3, which was close to the treatment plant. Bacteriological contamination was also found, with total coliforms varying from 0 at P1 to 9,000 cfu/100 mL at P4 and fecal coliforms (FC) 0 in P1, P2, P3 and P5 but up to 250 FC/100 mL at P4. Fecal streptococci (FS) varied from 0 to 3,500 FS/100 mL at P4. These values widely exceeded the limit for bacteria in water (0 units/100 mL).

Abstract:
Being a caregiver offers a sense of usefulness and satisfaction. Similarly, this caregiving function hurts all areas of the caregiver's life. In this vein, we believe that approaching this topic based on the sequential approach is of great importance. Indeed, we will first present the life-course approach as a method for analysing longitudinal quantitative data while highlighting the different stages of sequence analysis as an appropriate analysis method. We will then discuss the importance of studying the life trajectories of caregivers as units of research in the life course approach. The empirical demonstration of this paper originates from doctoral research in sociology on the life course of informal caregivers in the province of Tiznit in Morocco. Through this demonstration, we have crossed quantitative and qualitative analyses of life courses. This work will also show the relevance of sequence analysis and its adaptation to the life course approach of caregivers.

Abstract:
Recent molecular phylogenies of the Acanthodactylus pardalis species-group have revealed a deep genetic divergence within the nominal species A. busacki from north-west Africa. The species is phylogenetically separated into northern and southern lineages, which correspond to a previously observed morphological differentiation between the northern and southern populations of this species. Based on morphological comparisons of the type material and location of the type locality, the nomen Acanthodactylus busacki Salvador, 1982 is assigned here to the southern lineage, known from the northern Saharan Atlantic coastal desert. The northern lineage, described here as Acanthodactylus margaritae sp. nov., is prominently characterized by weakly keeled dorsal scales and a characteristic colour pattern. The new species is endemic to Morocco and confined to arid and semi-arid bioclimatic areas between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas Mountains, from around Tamri in the north to Tiznit in the south and the Souss valley in the east.

Sous l'influence des mutations de la societe, et comme partout au maroc, les architectures traditionnelles des maisons privees tizniti sont menacees de disparition. Seule leur etude systematique peut sauver ce qui peut encore l'etre de ces anciennes architectures. C'est ce que nous avons effectue dans le cadre de cette entreprise : l'etude de dix demeures et l'analyse histirico-archeologique de leur plan. Cette demarche nous a permis de degager deux types d'habitations privees : - les maisons anciennes proprement dites, datant de l'epoque anterieure a la fortification de tiznit par le sultan hassan i en 1886. - celles dont les plans sont plutot recents et composites. Les premieres se caracterisent par une sobriete totale et un agencement interne base sur l'organisation familiale (famille de type patriarcal), ainsi que sur l'activite principale (jardinage et elevage). C'est donc une architecture de type rural comme on en trouve partout dans la plaine de tiznit.

L'étude des héritages morphologiques tant à l'intérieur du bas plateau de Tiznit que sur sa bordure littorale a permis de comprendre les grands traits de l'évolution des paysages au cours du pléistocène et de l'holocène, du tensiftien à l'actuel. Le littoral de ce bas plateau est constitué de plusieurs blocs failles où la néotectonique plio-villafranchienne a déterminé des zones basses envahies par les incursions marines successives et des zones soulevées à l'abri de celles-ci. Sur le bas plateau, le remblaiement alluvial de l'Oued Tamdroust a lieu au cours du soltanien récent et du rharbien derrière un barrage de travertins. Les indices morphodynamiques, sédimentaires et préhistoriques conservés ont permis de suivre avec plus ou moins de précision l'évolution des paléo-paysages. Au sein d'un milieu de type encore méditerranéen, on peut montrer l'existence de nombreuses alternances humidité-sécheresse, tant sur le littoral qu'à l'intérieur. Les dernières grandes phases humides se situent au soltanien supérieur (29000 - 19000 B. P. ) et autour de 5000 B. P. Les dernières périodes arides sont celles du soltanien tardif et l'actuelle, qui a débuté après 4000 B. P
The study of morphological heritages based on the detailed analysis of selected sections allowed us to draw the main lines of the evolution of pleistocene and hologene landscapes in the Tiznit low plateau and its littoral margin, from the tensiftian to the present. The atlantic coast of this low plateau is not an homogeneous environment. It is composed of the juxtaposition of several blocks delimited by faults. The plio-villafranchien neotectonic has determined low areas where successive sea incursions occured, and up-lifted areas, without these ones. On the low plateau, the alluvial filling of the Tamdroust Ouadi took place during the upper soltanian and the rharbian, behind a travertine dam. The morphodynamic, sedimentary and prehistoric features enabled us to follow with more or less precision the evolution of paleo-landscapes. In a global mediterranean-type environment, we can see various alternate humid and dry periods on the littoral and on the low plateau. The two last arid periods occured at upper soltanian (29000 - 19000 B. P. ) and around 5000 B. P. The two last periods are these of the last soltanian (18000 - 10000 B. P. ) and the present one, which started after 4000 B. P

Cette étude représente un exemple type d'une région de contact montagne-piémont dans un tronçon de la retombée septentrionale de l'anti-atlas occidental marocain. Les pôles d'intérêt morphologique se répartissent en deux grands thèmes: le premier est relatif au modèle de dissection dans les plateaux calcaro-dolomitiques du paléozoïque. Sa signature morphogénétique est l'épanouissement d'un modèle karstique relativement original d'une part, comme celui situe sur le plateau septentrional des Akhsass. D'autre part, des formes d'aplanissement très nettes, englobent les aplanissements partiels qui s'étalent sur deux a trois générations dans les akhsass (glacis et cônes rocheux). Le même nombre est valable pour les surfaces d'aplanissement dans les Ait Arkha et pour le plateau bordier est. Le deuxième grand thème se rapporte au modeler d'accumulation du piémont correspondant géographiquement a la plaine méridionale de Tiznit. Il se caractérise par la présence manifeste des formations carbonatées, travertineuses et lacustres. Dans ces dernières, on a pu identifier deux séquences ; la plus ancienne très étendue et attribuée au plio-villafranchien, est connue sous le nom régional de calcaires lacustres de Tiznit. Sa déformation tectonique a permis de quantifier l'orogenèse post-villafranchienne qui s'est avérée faible visible au travers du rejet des failles, héritées du paroxysme hercynien. De même, elle a créé un endoréisme tectonique qui a régi, particulièrement la disposition des terrasses alluviales, tantôt superposées, tantôt imbriquées, et a obstrue l'étendue des cônes de déjection. Au cours de ce travail, les croûtes calcaires ont fait l'objet ; outre l'étude de leurs rapports avec les formes quaternaires ; d'une analyse micromorphologique. Celle-ci révèle la présence d'éléments remanies provenant de formations lacustres incorporés dans les croûtes calcaires (fragments de coquilles) qui prouvent leur origine sédimentaire

La plaine de Tiznit, une région du sud du Maroc, située à la porte du désert, occupe une place marginale dans l'économie nationale. Elle présente un exemple de campagnes ou la vie humaine est marquée par l'aridité climatique. Ici le manque d'eau demeure un facteur majeur de contrainte pour l'agriculture. Celle-ci souffre également du poids des facteurs sociaux, à savoir une structure foncière déséquilibrée, d'un morcellement poussé de la propriété et d'une irrigation à caractère traditionnel et précaire. Ces facteurs conjugués expliquent la faiblesse de l'occupation du sol. Certes, la terre exploitée en grande partie par des techniques traditionnelles ne peut donner que de faibles rendements. Dans ces conditions la terre ne peut supporter la forte pression démographique : ce qui pousse la population à chercher les moyens de survivre; elle a trouvé dans l'émigration la solution la plus valable, ce phénomène désormais habituel de la vie dans la plaine a facilité la pénétration des influences extérieures et a engendré des changements dans l'espace comme dans la société
The Tiznit plain, a region in the South of Morocco, situated at the foot of the desert, has a marginal role in national economy. It is an exemple of life marked by the land's dryness. The lack of water leads to an agricultural deficiency. Adding to the already existing serious social conditions, i - e. , an unbalanced land-structure, an important division of property and a precarious and traditional methods of irrigation. All these combine to explain the failure to work the land, consequently the land worked, to a large extent, by traditional techniques has a poor yield. Under these conditions, the land cannot support an increase in popu- lation which seeks other means of survival such as emigration. This usual phenomenon of life in the plain has allowed for the introduction of outside influences and triggered major changes in the lands as well as in society

La présente étude porte sur le lexème verbal (analyse des types de verbes, classification) dans ses rapports avec les monèmes grammaticaux appeles "modalités". Après l'identification de ces monèmes (inventaire, précisions morphologiques), on a opère une hiérarchisation, une classification de ces monèmes selon chisaton, une classification de ces monèmes selon le genre de rapports qu'ils entretiennent avec le noyau verbal (le prédicat). On est alors amenée a parler de modalités obligatoires à propos des modalités aspectuelles vu leur caractère central et obligatoire pour l'actualisation du verbe; de modalités facultatives à propos des modalités d'orientation spatiale vu leur caractère périphérique, c'est-à-dire qu'un verbe peut parfaitement sauf cas de figement) être détermine ou non détermine par elles ; de modalité verbo-nominales aonnelle car elle propos de la négation, la negaton étant plurifonctionnelle car elle détermine aussi bien un noyau verbal que nominal; et enfin de modalités de l'énonciation à propos de l'interrogation, car elle instaure un type particulier de rapport entre le locuteur et ses interlocuteurs dans une communication. Après l'analyse de ces modalités, on a étudié un autre type de monèmes concernant également e d'une manière centrale le verbe, ce sont les monèmes lies de dérivation. Ces monèmes qui sont des affixes, concernent plus exactement l'orientation syntaxique du verbe par rapport à ses participants. Ces monèmes ont les valeurs suivantes: "ss" est un "causatif", "tt" un "passif-action", "nn"un "passif-état", et "m" est un réciproque". Ce chapitre nous conduit directement à la phase finale de ce travail, a savoir la syntaxe de l'énoncé simple ou on a étudié les fonctions suivantes: la fonction prédicative, la fonction sujet; la fonction objet, l'expansion indirecte et l'expansion autonome
The present thesis is concerned with the study of the verbal lexeme (types of verb, classification) in its relation to the grammatical monemes which are refered to as "modalities" in martinet's functonal linguistics theory. Abstract:
Cette thèse traite des répercussions de la politique d’externalisation des dispositifs de sécurisation des frontières de l’Union européenne au Maroc dans le contexte post-crise migratoire de 2015. Nous analysons la stratégie marocaine de déplacements forcés des migrants subsahariens désireux de rejoindre l’Europe depuis le Nord du pays vers des villes moyennes situées plus au sud. En introduisant le concept de « dispersion », cette recherche ambitionne de comprendre le processus de « frontiérisation » via la relocalisation forcée des migrants subsahariens au Maroc. Fondée sur une étude empirique dans le cadre d’une recherche action et une méthode participative, cette recherche a été menée comparativement dans les villes moyennes de Tiznit et Taza. Notre thèse interroge et analyse les logiques de la dispersion, la nature des rapports instaurés entre migrants et locaux, mais aussi les effets de cette nouvelle modalité de « frontiérisation » sur les individus et les lieux. Ainsi, notre thèse documente les effets de la dispersion, comme politique de « mise en vulnérabilité » plurielle qui se voit amortie par des « villes-refuge » sous le sceau d’éthiques de l’hospitalité. Se posent ainsi les enjeux du dépassement sécuritaire au profit d’une « civilité de transit » qui se tisse entre autochtones et migrants dispersés, en l’absence de politiques d’accueil étatique. La dispersion met en lumière des réactions inattendues des sociétés civiles nourrissant la reconfiguration de la mission d’accueil dans ces villes-refuge. Cependant, ces actions palliatives restent particulièrement fragiles du fait de l’absence de réelles politiques publiques concertées
This thesis deals with the repercussions of the policy of externalization of the European Union's border security measures in Morocco in the post-migration crisis context of 2015. We analyze the Moroccan strategy of forced displacement of sub-Saharan migrants wishing to reach Europe from the north of the country to medium-sized cities located further south. By introducing the concept of "dispersal", this research aims to understand the process of "bordering" through the forced relocation of sub-Saharan migrants in Morocco. Based on an empirical study within the framework of action research and a participatory method, this research was conducted comparatively in the medium-sized cities of Tiznit and Taza. Our thesis questions and analyzes the logics of dispersal, the nature of the relationships established between migrants and locals, but also the effects of this new modality of "bordering" on individuals and places. Thus, our thesis documents the effects of dispersal as a policy of plural "vulnerability" that is cushioned by "refuge-cities" under the seal of hospitality ethics. Thus, the stakes of overcoming security in favor of a "civility of transit" that is woven between natives and dispersed migrants, in the absence of state reception policies, are at stake. Dispersal brings to light unexpected reactions from civil societies that feed the reconfiguration of the reception mission in these refuge-cities. However, these palliative actions remain particularly fragile due to the absence of real concerted public policies

Le mouvement migratoire interne s'etant developpe durant les annees 50,60 et 70 s'effectue principalement vers les villes de la frange atlantique. Concernant la migration externe, on a constate que les soussi nouaient des relations d'echanges commerciales avec le soudan avant l'islamisation de l'afrique du nord. La migration vers l'europe s'est developpee dans le souss depuis les annees 40. Les transferts monetaires vers tiznit representent le facteur primordial de son economie urbaine, le developpement des activites commerciales est du principalement a ce facteur. Par contre a ouled teima, vu son emplacement au coeur d'un perimetre agricole bien amenage, les revenus migratoires jouent un role secondaire dans son developpement economique, mais une force motrice de son developpement spatial. Le pourcentage des actifs vivant directement ou indirectement de l'economie migratoire est tres important a tiznit 44,5% de la population active totale contre 19,9% a ouled teima
The region of souss in the south-west of morocco is outstanding for its level of demografic displacement both withim the country and abroad. Displacement within the country which developed in the 50's, 60's and 70's is principally towards towns along the atlantic coast. As for emigration the inhabitants of the region established commercial links with sudan long before the islamicisation of north africa. Emigration to europe began at the 40's. However later this became lesse common and has now practically ceased. Money sent back to tiznit froms abroad the basis of the town's economy and it is with this money that the town s commercial activity is funded. However this is not the case. With ouled teima where due to fact that it is situated in the heart of a modern. Well developed agricultural region income fram abroad plays a secondary role in the local economy it does nevertheless represen a driving force in its spatial growth. The percentage of tiznit's population living directly or indirectly of the money fram abroad is much than that of ouled teima : 44,5% against 19,9%

This chapter explores how activist filmmaker Habiba Djahnine creates an Algerian memory film with her 2006 documentary Lettre à ma soeur/Letter to My Sister. It examines how Djahnine uses aspects of the performative documentary mode for personal and autobiographical explorations of Algerian history and culture, creating a personal and political memory-narrative that acts as a posthumous response to a letter written to her by her sister Nabila before her assassination on 15 February 1995 in Tizi Ouzou, Algeria.
