Abstract:
The Simalungun tribe is one of the Batak tribes in the Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. The Simalungun tribe is located between two cultures, namely the Toba Batak tribe and the Karo Batak tribe. Because the area of residence of the Simalungun Batak tribe is between the territories of the two Batak tribes, the Simalungun language is almost similar to the Toba and Karo languages. The Simalungun people's livelihood system is farming rice and corn, because rice is the daily staple food and corn is an additional food if the rice yield is insufficient. Buying and selling is carried out by bartering, the language used is the dialect. "Marga" holds an important role in matters of Simalungun custom. Abstract:
Indonesian society is multicultural and multilingual. Dialects in Indonesia have a lot of indigenous concepts, which are important for the nation building. In a multilingual society, language contact means that languages with small repertoire can be dominated by languages with larger repertoire (Romaine 2000). The Batak Toba language has concepts about egalitarianism, transparency and harmonizes relation between human being and environment. Most of young Batak Toba generation, who were born and who are living in Jakarta do not speak well Batak Toba language. There is a language shift among them, although they do not speak Batak Toba language, they still master the world views of Batak Toba culture.

Abstract:
The progress of civilization is something that cannot be avoided. The industrial revolution 4.0 era brought a lot of progress and benefits for human life. But like a double-edged sword, the progress of this era is also slowly eroding local wisdom which is rich of noble value. The progress of the civilization has created opportunities as well as threats in order to preserve the local wisdom. In this term, as an example, it can threaten the marsiadapari tradition in the Toba Batak community. Simply put, marsiadapari is a tradition of gotong royong, which nowadays is starting to fade in the life of the Toba people. To revive this local wisdom, the authors saw an opportunity by constructing a local theology which could later be called the Marsiadapari Theology. This paper uses a qualitative method by tracing previous literature studies by focusing on the local theological perspective offered by Robert Schreiter. This study above will be dialectic with a biblical study of the text of Galatians 6:2. As the result, this article finds that Marsiadapari Theology is a constructive theology that can help readers to fulfill the law of Christ (the law of love) by involving and uniting everyone in a participatory manner.

This research is about the Ecolexicon Treasures of Poul Poul in Toba Batak languange of Toba dialect in Aek Kanopan. The purpose of this study is to explore the wealth of ecolexicon about Poul Poul and to explain the social praxis associated with each ecolexicon in Toba dialect of Toba Batak language in Aek Kanopan based on the study of Ecolinguistics. This research uses qualitative method. Data for the Poul Poul ecolexicon were obtained through interview techniques and recording techniques. Furthermore, the data analysis uses qualitative description, which means the data is collected, classified, and presented in a table. The results show that there are 14 ecolexicons of Poul Poul in Toba Batak language of the Toba dialect in Aek Kanopan; consisting of 8 nouns, 5 verbs, and 1 adjective. In this ecolexicon, there are 2 vocabularies that have shifted, namely grated coconut 'hurhuran' and poul poul shifted to the term 'topung mata'. This shift in the ecolexicon is influenced by two aspects of social praxis, namely the sociological dimension, which includes maintaining relationships and simplicity between members of the social community, and the ideological dimension, which includes beliefs. So, the collection of Poul Poul ecolecticons in the Toba Batak language of the Toba dialect in Aek Kanopan is very diverse. To ensure that these ecolecticons are not lost in the midst of the rapid development of the civilization of the Toba Batak community, they must be explored again and maintained. Thus, Toba Batak-speaking community living in Aek Kanopan must more actively participate in maintaining and preserving the environment and its ecolexicon so that the next generation not only hears the story but also sees its existence.
