Cette biographie d'Ahmed Sékou Touré comporte 89 chapitres, qui suivent la chronologie des événements qui ont rythmé l'existence privée et publique de l'ancien président de la Guinée, de sa naissance en janvier 1922, à sa mort en mars 1984. A partir de la deuxième guerre mondiale, et de plus en plus, les circonstances de la vie personnelle et de l'engagement syndical puis politique de Sékou Touré se confondent avec l'histoire de la Guinée elle-même et il a parfois été difficile de faire le partage. De même, l'auteur ayant été mêlé à partir de 1974 à bien des développements de la vie de ce pays, il apparaît lui-même dans cette biographie, comme témoin ou comme acteur. Né en 1941 à Port of Spain (Trinidad et Tobago), Stokely Carmichael, qui se rebaptisa Kwame Touré en 1979 émigre aux Etats-Unis en 1952 à l'âge de onze ans. En septembre 1960, il rejoint le mouvement des droits civiques et lutte pour le respect les droits constitutionnels des Noirs américains. Mais en juin 1966, il lance le Black Power, un concept nationaliste noir qui rejette les valeurs et revendications du mouvement des droits civiques et appelle essentiellement à l'indépendance politique et économique des Africains-Américains et à la valorisation de leur héritage culturel africain. Le Black Power propulse Stokely Carmichael sur la scène politique américaine et au plan international. Controversé, il émerge très vite comme un jeune leader noir américain charismatique. Mais en janvier 1969, Stokely Carmichael quitte le mouvement noir et les Etats-Uni et s'installe à Conakry en Guinée où ayant épousé les idées politiques des leaders africains Kwame Nkrumah et Sékou Touré, il devient, jusqu'à sa mort en novembre 1998, le champion du panafricanisme continental. Black Power propelled Stokely Carmichael at the center of the American and international political arena and he soon became a young black American controversial and charismatic leader too. But in January 1969, Stokely Carmichael left the African-American movement and settled in Conakry in Guinea where he endorsed the political views of African leaders Kwame Nkrumah and Sékou Touré and became until his death in November 1998 a defender of continental pan-africanism. The passage of Stokely Carmichael from the black movement to the pan-africar movement reduced his political struggle to propagating within the African-American community the political ideas of his African mentors that he conceived as the solution of the problems that blacks over the world faced

En 1958, la Guinée rejette la proposition d'intégrer la communauté franco-africaine que propose le général de Gaulle. La France tire toutes les conséquences de ce vote en se retirant de sa désormais ex-colonie. Emportant avec elle tous les moyens matériels, financiers et humains qui faisaient tourner l'administration et l'état. A l'instar de tous les secteurs, l'éducation est littéralement anéantie. Le jeune état doit faire table-rase du passé et édifier un système éducatif de manière ex-nihilo. Le président Sekou Toure courtisé par toutes les puissances dans le contexte de la guerre froide se lance dans l'édification d'un systeme éducatif de type révolutionnaire qui aura la charge de former l'homme nouveau qui fera de la Guinée un pays prospère. Peu de temps apres l'indépendance le régime dictatorial mis en place par le pdg-rda politise à outrance le système éducatif et instrumentalise l'école pour perenniser son pouvoir. Cette thèse retrace le processus d'édification du système éducatif guinéen en essayant de penser ensemble la triptyque enseignants-enseignés-acteurs politiques pour comprendre toute la complexite de la politisation de l'école guinéenne. Pour ce faire, l'auteur répond aux interrogations suivantes : quel est le rôle des acteurs de l'éducation dans l'avénement de l'indépendance et l'impact de cette dernière au niveau du système éducatif ? Que signifie être enseignant et qui sont-ils sous Sékou Touré ? Qu'est-ce qu'un élève / étudiant sous le régime du Pdg ? Launches The construction of an educational system of revolutionary type which will have the responsibility of forming the new man' who will make guinea a prosperous country. Shortly after independence the dictatorial regime set up by the pdg-rda politicizes with excess the educational system and instrumentalises school in order to perpetuate its power. This thesis retraces the process of construction of the guinean educational System while trying to analyse the triptych teachers-students-political players to understand the complexity of the politicization of the guinean school system. For this purpose, the author answers the following questions: which is the role of the protagonists of the educational system in the declaration of independence and the impact of the latter on the educational system? What does it mean to be a teacher and who are the people under Sékou Touré? What does it mean to be a student under the regime of the PDG? In short. What does it mean to be a protagonist of the educational system under the regime of the PDG-RDA?

Sékou TOURE est l'un des hommes politiques qui semblent avoir le mieux pris conscience de cette relation, au point qu'il a fait de la parole l'essence même de son pouvoir. Les mots chargés de symboles redondants ont servi à mettre en branle tout un peuple pendant vingt-six années. Nous saisissons cet homme politique à travers les discours qu'il a tenus, auxquels nous avons impliqué les méthodes et instruments appropriés d'analyse du discours. Le travail d'analyse effectué dans cette thèse porte essentiellement sur le mode de fonctionnement du discours et des configurations discursives. A travers une approche énonciative, nous avons étudié le fonctionnement du rituel de l'énonciation du discours qui obéit à un ordre constant de slogans d'ouverture, de formules d'appel et de slogans de clôture. . .

Apres l'implantation des Mandé-Koya dans la région de Mankono dans le Nord-Ouest de la Côte d'Ivoire vers la fin du XVIIIe siècle, le Koyadougou connut un rayonnement sous l'impulsion de sa chefferie. Au moment où il consolidait ses acquis politiques, il devint un des enjeux de Samori. Face à l'avancée des troupes françaises, celui-ci entra en contact dans sa fuite avec le monde Koya qu'il domina. A la chute du conquérant en 1899, les troupes françaises occupèrent le Koyadougou qui après l' occupation samorienne allait connaître les affres de la colonisation. Face au choc colonial, la chefferie Koya fut dépouillée de son autorité et son pouvoir politique fut aliéné. Cependant, grâce à sa capacité d'adaptation à travers des mécanismes de collaboration, elle réussi à survivre à cette brutale agression. Au lendemain des indépendances, les chefferies africaines considérées comme des institutions dépassées vacillaient sur leurs bases face à un Etat postcolonial champion de la« modernité » triomphante. Mais, les chefs locaux savaient parfaitement qu'ils exerçaient encore une influence considérable sur les populations et qu'entre les deux pouvoirs se dessinaient des rapports nouveaux, plus proches de l' interpénétration que de l'opposition avec en filigrane une interrogation : comment la chefferie peut-elle s'intégrer afin d'améliorer le développement économique et social des populations?

When the whole world was in lockdown and tourism was at a standstill due to the COVID19-pandemic, the Faroe Islands found an alternative way to let people experience their destination. They started the “Remote tourism” campaign which offered live virtual tours where users from all over the world could navigate the locals who were equipped with GoPro cameras on their helmets. But how satisfying can such an experience be? How do users experience virtual tours? And how do such virtual tours promote the willingness to visit a destination? This study aimed at answering those questions by conducting semi-structured interviews with members of Generation Y. The participants of the interview watched the recorded versions of the virtual tours offered by Visit Faroe Islands and were asked about their experience. There are different factors for a satisfying tourism experience, namely presence/telepresence, enjoyment, involvement, and flow. The results showed that these factors were also relevant to the virtual tourism experience. However, the virtual tours were experienced differently by different participants and the results cannot be generalized. Yet, this will likely be the case for the traditional tourism experience as well. The same tourism experience will be perceived differently by every individual. The results also showed that the virtual tours did promote the willingness to visit the Faroe Islands for the majority of participants – or it did not change to the worse at least.

La plupart des monasteres irlandais du moyen age possedent une tour ronde qui mesure jusqu'a plus de trente metres de haut. L'histoire des monasteres du debut du christianisme permet de comprendre dans quel contexte furent construites ces tours que les annales irlandaises mentionnent des le milieu du dixieme siecle. La geographie physique de l'irlande qui regit en grande partie l'histoire du pays, permet de savoir comment se repartissent les monasteres a tour ronde et quelle est la nature du materiau necessaire a l'edification de cette derniere. Les textes donnent a la tour le nom de "cloigtheach", c'est-a-dire "maison des cloches". Elle faisait donc office de clocher, mais pouvait aussi servir de refuge en cas d'attaque et d'endroit ou les moines entreposaient les objets precieux. L'origine irlandaise de la tour ronde qui s'inscrit dans une vieille tradition de monuments circulaires en pierre, est indeniable. Neanmoins, les nombreux echanges avec le monde de rome et de byzance, par ravenne notamment, permettent de penser que l'idee vient d'italie. Quoi qu'il en soit, le "cloigtheach" est devenu, a partir du dix-neuvieme siecle, un des principaux symboles de l'irlande : n'inspire-t-il pas une si grande variete d'artistes!<br>Most irish monasteries of the middle ages have a round tower up to more than thirty metres high. The history of the monasteries at the beginning of christianity enables us to understand the context in which these towers (mentioned in irish annals as early as the middle of the tenth century) were built. The physical geography of ireland which to a large extent determines the history of the country, allows us to see how the round tower monasteries are distributed as well as the nature of the building materials which were required to erect the towers. Annals gibe the towers the name "cloigtheach", that is "the house of the bells". The tower thus had the function of a belfry, but could also be used as a shelter in the event of an attack as well as a place where the monks stored precious objects. The irish origin of the round tower, set in an ancient tradition of circular stone monuments, is undeniable. Nevertheless, the numerous exchange visits with the world of rome and byzantium via ravenna in particular, lead us to think that the round tower idea originates in italy. Whatever the truth of the matter, the "cloigtheach", from the nineteenth century onwards, has become one of the main symbols of ireland, inspiring as it does such a great variety of artists

Autrefois, faire Le Grand Tour signifiait de s'embarquer dans un long pèlerinage culturel à travers le continent européen. Ce voyage constituait un rite de passage pour tout jeunes bourgeois voulant élever ses centres d'intérêt et s'imprégner des bases de la société occidentale. Ironiquement, c'est aussi le nom donné à ce texte et à l'exposition qu'il l'accompagne puisqu'il a - comme Le Grand Tour - l'ambition de faire du voyage un prétexte à l'éducation. L'objectif n'est pas de faire du Grand Tour une thématique, mais d'y voir une amorce à la réflexion. Le voyage prend donc dans ce mémoire une vocation allégorique qui se décline à travers différents temps, différents lieux et différentes matérialités de l'image. Si l'exposition constitue la manifestation physique d'un parcours fictif, ce texte ci-présent cherche plutôt à en retracer l'itinéraire. Il s'attarde d'abord au caractère a-hiérarchique de la photographie, à la décomposition de l'image vidéographique et à l'appropriation des images que l'on retrouve sur le web. Il tisse ensuite des liens entre le regard, le récit, la narration et le déplacement. Finalement, il s'intéresse aux modes d'organisation par lesquels se regroupent les images dans ma pratique, c'est-à-dire, par la mise en espace et par le livre.

que permiten maximizar el tiempo de traslado y aminorar el inconveniente del tráfico vehicular mediante el uso de ciclovías. Las bicicletas y moto-scooters eléctricas vienen marcando una tendencia ecoamigable, con un toque divertido, cuyo uso promueve la actividad física al aire libre, el esparcimiento y el cicloturismo.

This thesis deals with the specifics of valuation of small businesses and is trying to find practical solutions to particular problems on the example of a travel agency SALLY TOURS. The selected company was evaluated for the purpose of sale and settlement of marital property. Financial and strategy analysis was performed followed by determination of value drivers and future free cash flow. Discounted cash flow and capitalized earnings method were used. The conclusion summarizes the main differences in the valuation of small businesses and companies, and recommends their solutions.

This thesis is intended to be a contribution to the history of tourism. It examines the Grand Tour from the perspective of tourism studies. The primary source material was a sample of Grand Tour diaries and journals and a range of contemporary guidebooks and periodicals. A series of historical time divisions was taken and the tour itineraries in each division were mapped. Secondary source material provided information on the social, cultural, economic and technological background to the tour. The research method was directed towards the five main elements of the tourist system: the tourists, the generating region, the transit routes, the destination region and the tourist industry. Key questions posed centred on the origins, development and decline of the tour, the tourists, spatial and temporal aspects, cultural tastes and the tourist industry. The scope of the investigation was constrained by a definition of the Grand Tour as a distinct circuit of Europe not exclusive to one social class. The main findings of the research are: 1. It is suggested that the origins of the Grand Tour can be traced to the I sixteenth century, when there was an interaction between the spread of the ideals of Renaissance humanism from Europe and an increase in social mobility within English society. 2. Distinct spatial and temporal patterns in touring were established by the early seventeenth century and many of them persisted until the early nineteenth century when the tour. evolved into a summer excursion abroad. 3. In the later eighteenth century there was a shift from the landed classes to the middle classes as the dominant group on the tour. Many aspects of the tour.were affected by this change. 4. From the 1760's there was a change in the cultural tastes of the tourists towards a general interest in scenic tourism. 5. The Grand Tourists used an extensive but informally organised range of services. These services became more formalised in the 1820's and 1830's, suggesting that this period marked an important transition in the development of the modern tourist industry.

In 2017, 82 TLs were surveyed about their level of stress on 30 items representing four sources of job stress: job roles, nature of the job, tourists’ attitudes and behaviors, and external factors. Statistical tests determined that female TLs perceive higher levels of stress from sexual harassment, natural disasters, facilitating the tourists-locals interaction, having limited free time during trips and constant packing/unpacking. Male TLs reported higher levels of stress when tourists supersede their authority. These results indicate the need to amend policy and managerial guidelines to increase gender equity in the tour leading profession.<br>Revisión por pares

L'étude des cycles, flots et chemins des graphes est intimement liée au développement de l'optimisation combinatoire. Dans l'introduction nous mettons en parallèle ces concepts à partir de résultats classiques, et les deux autres parties de la thèse développent les nouveaux résultats dans deux directions différentes. La première porte sur les problèmes d'existence de multiflots entiers. Plusieurs paramètres naturels s'appliquent à ces problèmes, générant plus d'une centaine de cas. Après un rappel des résultats de la littérature sous une forme synthétique, nous résolvons plusieurs problèmes ouverts. En particulier, nous montrons que trouver deux flots disjoints dans les graphes planaires est un problème NP-complet. Nous donnons aussi un algorithme polynomial pour router les digraphes planaires acycliques eulériens, lorsque le nombre de classes d'arcs de demande est fixé. Ensuite, nous nous intéressons au problème consistant à trouver une plus courte marche fermée passant par tous les sommets d'un graphe. Spéciquement, nous cherchons à caractériser les graphes pour lesquels une bonne caractérisation est donnée par des empilements d'ensembles éclatants. Nous présentons quelques résultats de nature polyédrale, puis étudions le cas des cographes et des graphes d'intervalles.

Los tours se realizarán en base a propinas, las cuales serán voluntariamente entregadas por los participantes de la actividad. Cabe mencionar que dentro de los objetivos específicos de la empresa, se encuentra desarrollar un proyecto sin fines de lucro que pueda autofinanciarse.
Para el desarrollo del trabajo se utilizaron diversas herramientas dentro de las que podemos mencionar entrevistas, encuestas, participación en tours existentes, lecturas y análisis de distintas fuentes de información, estudio de tendencias, noticias de actualidad y una prueba piloto. Como resultado de las encuestas, se concluyó que alrededor del 77% de los alumnos, ya sean chilenos o extranjeros, están interesados en participar en este tipo de actividades. En segundo lugar, que al 35% de los estudiantes chilenos les gustaría participar como guía de esta actividad.
Con el objetivo de evaluar el funcionamiento del tour y ver las observaciones de potenciales clientes, se realizó una prueba piloto. Esta actividad tuvo una duración de 2 horas aproximadamente y posibilitó testear: la ruta preseleccionada, las distintas actividades de interacción y los medios de difusión que se utilizaron. Al finalizar la prueba piloto se realizó una encuesta de satisfacción a los asistentes para recopilar sus opiniones acerca de los distintos ítems.
Actualmente, existen 3 empresas en Santiago que se dedican a realizar free walking tours; Spicy Chile, Free Tour Santiago y Tour 4 tips. Estas empresas también funcionan en base a
Walk Up Santiago: Free Walking Tour 2012 propinas. Los tours ofrecidos tienen una duración promedio de 4 horas y apuntan principalmente a extranjeros que visitan Santiago por poco tiempo.
Se determinó que durante los tours y con el objetivo de lograr la integración entre los alumnos chilenos y extranjeros se idearon distintas actividades para que interactúen más entre ellos. Por ejemplo, se utilizarán stickers con los nombres de los asistentes, trivias, presentaciones personales (acerca de su lugar de origen, etc.), se creará un grupo en Facebook para que los integrantes puedan mantenerse en contacto entre ellos y con la empresa.
La estrategia comunicacional se basará en la realización de un sitio web, flyers, tarjetas de presentación y alianzas estratégicas con diferentes empresas, como la Universidad de Chile y diferentes cafés del centro de Santiago, entre otras. Todo esto permitirá al público objetivo obtener información sobre las rutas, lugar de partida, los guías, horarios y fechas de los tours.
Tomando en consideración los tours existentes y la investigación realizada sobre la competencia, se determinó que los guías a cargo de realizar los tours de Walk Up Santiago, serán alumnos de la Universidad de Chile, que se caractericen por ser extrovertidos, con capacidad de liderazgo de grupos y buen manejo del idioma inglés. Las postulaciones al cargo de guía se podrán realizar a través de distintos portales de búsqueda y el sitio web de la empresa. A su vez la empresa realizará charlas informativas en las distintas facultades para reclutar y motivar a los alumnos a ser parte de esta. Luego de ser seleccionados serán parte de una capacitación.
Los tours realizados por Walk Up Santiago, tendrán una duración cercana a las 2 horas. Estos, podrán ser realizados en inglés o español según la preferencia de los asistentes y a partir del segundo año de funcionamiento, se llevarán a cabo todos los sábados en la mañana. Por otro lado, se determinó la importancia de la evidencia física en este negocio, el método de medición de calidad del servicio, la conducta esperada del cliente durante el tour, la forma en que se administrarán los empleados, las esperas, las contingencias, los errores y las quejas.
Por último se hizo un análisis financiero en el que se determinó la rentabilidad del proyecto y la viabilidad de llevarlo a cabo. En este se obtuvo un valor actual neto (VAN) de $406.567 y una tasa interna de retorno (TIR) de 35%.

Os objetivos do presente trabalho foram: 1) determinar o impacto bioeconômico do exame andrológico em sistemas de cria a fim de verificar sua importância como prática de manejo que auxilie na melhoria da eficiência reprodutiva do rebanho, 2) quantificar a variabilidade da circunferência escrotal, os efeitos da idade e raças e investigar as relações existentes entre o peso testicular (PT), a circunferência escrotal (CE) e o peso vivo (PV) em touros. Os resultados sugerem que, em touros jovens, a CE é a melhor forma de predizer o PT e, portanto, uma ferramenta útil para selecionar touros, 3) verificar as causas de descarte de touros de corte no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul com base nas etapas do exame andrológico. Foram avaliados 30.700 touros pelo Programa de Avaliação Reprodutiva de Touros durante os anos de 2001 a 2004. Dos 30.700 touros avaliados, foram descartados 17,12% deste total; o exame clínico geral, o seminal e o comportamental tiveram percentuais de descarte semelhantes (4,59%; 4,54;% e 4,29% respectivamente), diferindo do exame clínico especial (6,80%). O trabalho foi dividido em três artigos: 1) Impacto bioeconômico do exame andrológico dos touros em sistemas de cria, 2) Determinação da circunferência escrotal em touros de corte no Rio Grande do Sul e 3) Causas de descarte no exame andrológico em touros de corte no Rio Grande do Sul. No primeiro trabalho, concluiu-se que o exame andrológico é uma prática de manejo de baixo custo e uma importante alternativa tecnológica para auxiliar no aumento da rentabilidade da atividade de cria. No segundo trabalho, concluiu-se que os resultados obtidos nos dois experimentos demonstram a importância da medição da circunferência escrotal como método de avaliação de touros, pois, ao alcançar a puberdade, o touro já pode ser avaliado. No terceiro trabalho, concluiu-se que, com o aumento da idade, há uma maior predisposição de descarte de touros e que exames que omitam qualquer uma das etapas de avaliação da aptidão reprodutiva fazem com que touros inaptos permaneçam nos rebanhos de cria.<br>This work had the following aims: 1) to determine the bioeconomic impact of breeding soundness examination (BSE) in cow-calf systems in order to check its importance as management practice that can help improve a herd’s reproductive efficiency, 2) to quantify the variation in scrotal circumference, the effects of age and breeds and to investigate the relationships between testicular weight (TW), scrotal circumference (SC) and live weight (LW) in bulls. The results suggest that SC in young bulls is the best way to estimate TW and, therefore, a useful tool for the selection of bulls, 3) to quantify the reasons for the culling of beef bulls in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, based on the BSE. A total of 30,700 bulls were assessed by the Bull Evaluation Program (BEP) between 2001 and 2004. Of this total, 17.12% were culled, and among the culled bulls, the general clinical examination, semen analysis and behavioral assessment showed similar culling rates (4.59, 4.54 and 4.29% respectively), contrasting with the results obtained by the special clinical examination (6.80%). The first article concluded that BSE is a low-cost management practice and an important technological alternative that aids in increasing the profitability of cow-calf production In the second article, the conclusion is that the results obtained in the two experiments show the importance of measuring SC in bulls, as this measurement can be made as soon as a bull enters puberty. The last article concluded that aging increases the probability of bull culling, and examinations lacking any stage of the breeding soundness assessment cause inapt bulls to remain in cow-calf herds.

Therefore the thesis leads to formation of a new project, that would work under even less favourable conditions. Conclusions from the chapters that analyse the previous 'Cool tour linka' (analysis of the visitors' attendance, application of marketing tools, SWOT analysis) are used in the new project. Both the original and the newly proposed 'Cool tour linka' emphasize the element of cooperation of the organisations operating in the field of culture and the importance of unusual presentation of arts collections to the public.

Les deux figures-cles de la tour de babel et du labyrinthe assoient l'ecriture sur la confusion et l'inscrivent dans une impossible logique circulaire de (non)-retour. A la fois point de repere et origine de la dispersion, la tour occupe une position centrale et ambivalente, de meme que le quadrillage qui surcloture l'espace, en faisant tantot une prison tantot un lieu de renaissance et de redemption (la chambre). Toute stabilite lui etant refusee, le repere se construit et se deconstruit tour a tour sous differentes formes : gratte-ciels, mur-ubuesque, statue de la liberte, lune. Both key figures - the tower of babel and the labyrinth - build the text on images of confusion and urge it to an impossible logic of (no)-return. The tower, both landmark and origin of disorder, holds a central and ambiguous position, and so does the grid-pattern that fences space in, turning it now into a prison, then into a place of redemption and rebirth (the room). São feitos estudos fisiológicos (dosagem de Hematócrito e de Triidotiroidina Total - T3 - e de Tiroxina Total - T4), e de alguns aspectos morfofisiológicos da musculatura estriada do músculo adutor magnum (morfologia, freqüência e diâmetro das fibras musculares). Foram construídas três estruturas, cada uma coberta com filme de PVC de 0,1 mm de espessura e de cores diferentes (Verde, Transparente e Branca). A construção das estruturas e das baias foi amplamente detalhada no trabalho. O ambiente interno das estruturas foi estudado através da medição de temperaturas de globo, do ar, do piso, da água e de bulbo molhado, das irradiâncias global e refletida e do saldo de irradiação infravermelha, sendo que, no meio externo, foram feitas medições de irradiância global, da temperatura e da umidade do ar. Foram calculados os índices bioclimáticos: Índice de Temperatura e Umidade (THI), Carga Térmica Radiante (CTR) e Índice de Termômetro de Globo (WBGT). Obtiveram-se correlações para estimativa de variáveis ambientais, no interior das estruturas, a partir de valores medidos no meio externo e a partir de outras, medidas no interior das estruturas. As variáveis que descrevem o ambiente interno das estufas foram correlacionadas com variáveis de desempenho animal (Peso Vivo, Ganho de Peso e Consumo) de forma descritiva, por inferência através de análise multivariada e por análises de regressão. Estas variáveis de desempenho e ambientais, também foram correlacionadas com o rendimento de carcaça...<br>Bull Frogs ((Rana catesbeiana Shaw, 1802) production in fibercement sheds located inside polyethylene covered structures and under laboratory conditions in a minimum temperature controlled environment, were studied in this work. Physiological analyses (levels of hematocrit, Total Triidothyronine -T3 and Total Thyroxine - T4) were conducted and some morphophysiological aspects of the adutor magnum muscle (morphology, frequency and diameter of the muscle fibers) were described. Three structures were built; each one covered with a 0.1-mm width PVC film with a specific color (green, transparent and white). Structures and shed construction details were fully described. The internal environment inside the structures and sheds was studied and the following environmental variables were measured, in (WBGT) were calculated. The environmental variables inside the structures and sheds were correlated with external ones and estimation equations were found by linear regression analyses. Animal performance (live weight, weight gain and feed intake) was correlated with environmental variables inside the sheds descriptively, and by multivariate and regression analyses. The same was made for carcass dressing, biometry and for diameters and frequencies of the adutor magnum muscle fibers. Conclusions about environmental modeling and about the relative importance of the environmental variables and bioclimatic indexes in the animal performance were presented. This was also made for the morphological and physiological aspects and their relation with the environmental variables and animal performance.

A área consiste de vale tributário bastante dissecado, com canal de primeira ordem, escalonado em compartimento topográfico de origem estrutural, que criou nível de base local, a montante do qual o vale foi entulhado por aluviões. A montante deste vale de primeira ordem, as cabeceiras se estendem até setores topograficamente elevados das colinas que delimitam a bacia. Os estudos na área iniciaram-se em 1997, nos setores de encosta, próximos aos divisores de água, sendo abordados no contexto das cabeceiras de vale: áreas nas quais haveria a possibilidade de se encontrar registros quaternários passíveis de interpretação paleoambiental. As áreas de cabeceira de vale além de auxiliarem a caracterização paleoambiental, através de seqüências deposicionais preservadas, possibilitam a observação dos principais processos hidrológicos relacionados à formação de fluxos de água passíveis de contribuir para o escoamento canalizado. Desta forma, este trabalho teve como objetivo principal, a expansão da pesquisa para o ambiente fluvial com a finalidade de: definir a dinâmica dos processos de articulação entre cabeceira de vale e calha fluvial na localidade do Cerro do Touro nos últimos 20.000 anos, pelo menos, oferecendo subsídios para a compreensão da influência das mudanças climáticas globais sobre as mudanças ambientais locais. Para alcançar o objetivo proposto foram levantadas seções estratigráficas nas áreas de encosta e na área do terraço aluvial. Amostras das unidades individualizadas nestas seções foram submetidas a analises mecânicas e químicas e amostras selecionadas foram submetidas à análise de datação absoluta. Por tratar-se de vale bastante dissecado, não foram identificados na área depósitos preservados nas proximidades da cabeceira do canal de primeira ordem. Consequentemente, a área não contém registro que possibilite avaliar diretamente a dinâmica deposicional neste setor específico de transição entre encostas e vales, característico do ambiente de cabeceiras de vale. Desta forma, sendo a definição da dinâmica dos processos de articulação entre cabeceira de vale e calha fluvial na localidade do Cerro do Touro o principal objetivo deste trabalho, optou-se por abordar o problema de acordo com plano de pesquisa segundo o qual a interpretação das seqüências deposicionais de encosta é cotejada com a interpretação da seqüência de vale. Sendo a eventual articulação deduzida dos resultados globais obtidos.

M. Tours, Ms 193 » s'inscrit dans cette tradition scripturaire et iconographique. Manuscrit composite (Sacramentaire de 1180, Antiphonaire du XIIIe siècle, documents historiques des XIIIe-XIVe siècles), témoin des tâtonnements dans la constitution des missels, son étude révéla un héritage liturgique alcuinien. Son décor atteste d’une dévotion martinienne, apostolique, mariale, christologique, trinitaire, révélateur d’une affirmation de la communauté martinienne face aux pouvoirs présents dans la cité (Evêque, Bourgeois), plaidoyer pour une Ecclesia unie. Ce codex « B. M. There are examples of how different groups of visitors can use the website. The groups are a family with children, empty nesters, and senior citizens. The website is valuable in that it provides history to people with the technology they already use. Previous issue date: 1988<br>Resumo: O presente trabalho teve como objetivo obter algumas informações sobre o rendimento da carcaça da rã touro (Rana catesbeiana), a composição de seu músculo e as alterações do mesmo durante o armazenamento a -18ºC por um período de 182 dias, além da determinação da composição de uma farinha preparada com vísceras e cabeça, que juntas perfazem cerca de 24% do peso total ao abate. Para efeito comparativo foi determinada a composiçã ode músculo fresco das espécies Leptodactylus labyrinthicus (rã pimenta) e Leptodactylus occelatus (rã mirim), muito apreciadas pelos consumidores brasileiros.<br>Abstract: The present study was undertaken in order to obtain informations about Bullfrog (Rana catesbeiana)in terms of its carcasse composition and the chemical alterations in muscle during frozen storage at -18ºC for 182 days period. The proximate and the aminoacid composition of a meal prepared with visceras and head which represent 24% of the total weight at slaughter was also assessed. Sont principalement étudiés : - une tour solaire (un large collecteur circulaire en verre + une cheminée d'1 km de haut dans laquelle l'air chaud monte et entraîne des turbines) ; - et une tour à flux descendant d'air sec refroidi par vaporisation de gouttelettes d'eau. Des publications concurrentes présentant de graves erreurs de principe affectent la crédibilité de ces deux projets, pourtant sérieux malgré leur gigantisme. D'autres modes de conversion d'énergie renouvelable sont, de même, peu étudiés en France, recherchent des processus "pauvres" (rendement, matériaux, fluides moteurs), avec une production centralisée pour bénéficier d'économies d'échelle. Dans tous les cas, l'optimisation économique ne fait pas assez varier ensemble de nombreux paramètres pour déterminer une configuration optimale. valued hand, although the dynamics of tourism pass to take another view , you can not
beforehand consider favorable or unfavorable . Analyzes the phenomenon related to
conception or perception of poverty from tourism residents and non residents of the Favela of
Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro tourist guides . It is a subject to an object of research somewhat
controversial , but about which there is already an academic and scientific concern and
deserves an investigator look. Fits as a qualitative study whose methodological procedure
based on interviews and participant observation , and the geographic divisions chosen the
Rocinha slum , for its expressiveness and for being a pioneer in this type of tourism , had to
conducting fieldwork lasting six months, which was accompanied by at least four hours
walking work of sixteen tour guides, eight residents and eight non- residents in the
community, working for different travel agencies and tourism. End of each tour, all tour
guides answered a semi-structured questionnaire, containing nineteen questions. Most
respondents tour guides authorized record interview, which has made it possible to analyze
the speech through spoken language. In tourism, foreign tourists are the main target, although
rarely also count with the participation of domestic tourists. Notes that the relationship
between poverty and slums, from the perceptions of tourist guides residents better reflects the
reality of favela residents compared with non residents guides, since they fully know all the
intricacies and better the difficulties they have endured and still go, when it comes to the issue
of stigmatization respect, by which has suffered by Brazilian society, in relation to live in
slums, and have your dwelling place as a tourist attraction. While presenting the social reality
of Rocinha consistently during his work, the non residents guides worry about being as
natural as possible with tourists as much as the locals show slum, in the same way they avoid
authorize tourists to take compromising photos and that will expose the intimacy of
community residents . Concludes that, while recognizing the importance of elevation to the
rank of tourist attraction and its promising prospects, requires attention and priority, given the
greater precariousness of the human condition in relation to the prime areas in which it
operates tourism should be a vector of development, not a masking of reality<br>O presente projeto refere-se a um estudo um tanto controverso, na medida, em que focaliza

moradores pela comunidade, que trabalham para diferentes ag?ncias de viagens e turismo. Ao
final de cada tour, todos os guias de turismo responderam a um question?rio semiestruturado,
contendo dezenove perguntas. A maioria dos guias de turismo entrevistados autorizou gravar
entrevista, fato que possibilitou fazer uma an?lise do discurso atrav?s da linguagem falada.
Neste turismo, os turistas estrangeiros s?o o alvo principal, embora, tamb?m conte raramente,
com a participa??o de turistas nacionais. Constata que, a rela??o entre favela e pobreza, a
partir das percep??es de guias de turismo moradores reflete melhor a realidade da favela
comparado com guias n?o moradores, uma vez que eles conhecem inteiramente todos os
meandros e melhor as dificuldades por que passaram e ainda passam, no que diz repeito ?
quest?o da estigmatiza??o pela qual vem sofrendo pela sociedade brasileira, em rela??o a
viver na favela, al?m de terem o seu lugar de moradia como atra??o tur?stica. Ainda que
apresentem a realidade social da Rocinha de modo coerente durante seu trabalho, os guias n?o
moradores preocupam-se em ser o mais natural poss?vel com os turistas, tanto quanto os
moradores ao mostrar a favela, do mesmo modo em que evitam autorizarem os turistas a
tirarem fotos comprometedoras e que venham expor a intimidade dos moradores da
comunidade. Conclui que, apesar de reconhecer a relev?ncia de eleva??o ? categoria de
atra??o tur?stica e suas promissoras perspectivas, requer aten??o e prioridade, em face da
maior precariza??o da condi??o humana, em rela??o ?s ?reas nobres em que est? inserida

Henri de La Tour d’Auvergne (1555-1623), vicomte de Turenne, maréchal et duc de Bouillon, est l’un des principaux lieutenants d’Henri de Navarre pendant les guerres de religion. Jouissant d’une belle longévité, il est impliqué dans la plupart des événements politiques des années 1570, avec la formation du mouvement des Malcontents, à sa mort, en particulier sous la régence de Marie de Médicis et lors du déclenchement de la guerre de Trente ans. L’approche du personnage a longtemps été brouillée par les campagnes de libelles lancées contre lui à la fin de sa vie et par les critiques de Sully, Richelieu et Rohan dans leurs mémoires, qui font de lui un éternel trublion, ingrat à l’égard du roi et prompt à la révolte. Cette dégradation de son image s’explique par le contexte politique des années 1610 au cours desquelles il joue un rôle majeur. Elle constitue une réaction à la spectaculaire affirmation politique et sociale de la maison La Tour d’Auvergne depuis le milieu du XVe siècle, processus dans lequel il joue un rôle décisif. Elle s’explique par la tension dynamique qui apparaît, à partir de son avènement à Sedan en 1591, entre ses fonctions de sujet du roi de France, de chef de file du parti protestant et de prince souverain étranger. This negative portrait of his character is due to the political context of the 1610’s during which he was one of the main figures. Such a distortion is a reaction to the spectacular political and social ascent of the House of La Tour d’Auvergne from the middle of XVth century onwards in which he played a leading role. It is also due to a dynamic tension starting with his arrival in Sedan in 1591, in his duties as a subject of the King of France, as leader of the Huguenots and as a sovereign prince abroad. His great reactivity is explained by his varied functions – as ambassador, war leader, a well-read prince, builder, legislator – and his participation at the heart of powerful networks, which he sometimes controlled, throughout the Kingdom of France and Protestant Europe

The overall purpose of this project is to develop an immersive storytelling experience that connects with both physical and social environment. To be specific, it focuses on the old prison in Umeå which was closed in 1981 and nowadays serves as a hotel. There are abundant historical materials related to the old prison preserved, and how might we transform such textual, historical information into relatively interactive experience. By collaborating with Hotell Gamla Fängelset ( Umeå’s Prison Hotel ), the result turns out to be an application in combination with augmented reality (AR), to build a guided tour that brings history to life at Umeå’s Prison Hotel. The tour not only demonstrates the plight of the prisoners, but also showcases the reform to humanized treatment over time, at the end linking back to the cozy hotel where the guests are staying. After users experience the tour application, it stimulates people’s imagination of the prisoners’ story and raises their awareness towards the cultural heritage that has always been forgotten.

Each year the top 125 players on the PGA TOUR money list receive fully exempt status for the upcoming season. Past literature looks at the determinants that led to success for the top professionals on the PGA TOUR. Instead, I look at the determinants of finishing inside the top 125 on the PGA TOUR money list and retaining one’s TOUR card. I analyze the difference both statistically and in future earnings between finishing 100-125th on the money list and 126-150th. This paper finds that greens and regulation and putting have the largest effect on retaining a TOUR card while driving distance and accuracy are significant but at a much lower level. Future studies should look into the tradeoff between playing on the PGA TOUR and less marque tours like the Web.com as it can affect one’s earnings greatly.
