Abstract:
In Indonesia, which is still considered a conservative country, feminism as a gender-based emancipatory movement has become an understanding that tends to be covered by the glitter of patriarchism. Resistance to feminist thought is quite massive because the majority of people consider it to be a Western epistemology that is not in harmony with Eastern cultural values. One of the main causes of gender inequality is society's lack of understanding of the differences in definitions between sex and gender. The majority still view these two terms as merely linguistic synonyms, even though conceptua

Kratos, protagonist of God of War (2005–current), is an archetypal representation of toxic masculinity. For much of the series, his rage drives much of the narrative and game dynamics, as Kratos destroys the entire Greek pantheon. The latest iteration of the series moves Kratos into Norse mythology and introduces a son. This father–son relationship allows the developers to ruminate upon the toxic masculinity that has defined much of the series’ past. Kratos’ trajectory moves from the flatness of one defining characteristic, rage, to an introspective consideration of this emotion and its conseq

Toxic Masculinity is a problem that is rooted in false rationalization. This rationalization becomes crystallization since the masses agree on it together. As a result, it becomes an objective view and lifestyle. The Apostle Paul proclaimed equality in this regard, of course, equality when living in Jesus Christ. This is the foundation for those of us who believe in Him. However, this equality must be felt and experienced. This research uses a library research method with a qualitative approach. Merleau Ponty's phenomenology invites you to feel that feeling "sense," not to replace that feeling

Growing up with Bollywood films has significantly shaped our perceptions and expectations of everyday life. The portrayal of masculinity on the big screen has not only influenced men’s behavior but also shaped societal perceptions of them. Unfortunately, Bollywood has often depicted masculinity in toxic ways, influencing young men negatively. This paper explores how iconic dialogues like ‘Mard ko dard nahi hota’ or ‘Tu pehle mard banna seekh’ from 60s heroes have reinforced harmful gender stereotypes. Such portrayals might lead young boys to believe that showing emotions is a sign of weakness,
