Produced waters are the largest waste associated with the production of oil and gas; they contain dissolved salts, oil (dissolved and scattered organic compounds), chemicals and additives involved in the oil well operations, suspended particles, sand and other compounds, making their treatment very complex. The removal of styrene from industrial representative gaseous emissions was studied using two reactors connected in series: a two-phase partitioning biotrickling filter (TPPB-BTF) and a conventional biotrickling filter (BTF). The system was operated under industrial conditions, which included steady and transient conditions and intermittent spraying. Silicone oil was used in the TPPB-BTF with a quantity as low as 25 mL L−1, promoting a faster start-up compared to the BTF. Badanie dotyczyło wpływu mimicznego sprzężenia zwrotnego na subiektywną percepcję zmęczenia. Przebadano 75 studentów (19 – 26 lat). Badani wypełniali dwukrotnie polską adaptację skali FAS, przed i po wykonaniu zadania eksperymentalnego, polegającego na przyjęciu określonej postawy ciała oraz mimiki. Artykuł przedstawia charakterystykę psychometryczną Inwentarza do Oceny Płci Psychologicznej, której autorką jest Alicja Kuczyńska. Sprawdzono jakie określenia wchodzą w obecny stereotyp kobiecości i męskości. Założono, że określenia pochodzące z Inwentarza mogły stać się nieaktualne. Dokonano eksploracyjnej analizy czynnikowej pozycji pochodzących z IPP. Ostatecznie uzyskano dwa czynniki, wyjaśniające 30,51% całkowitej wariancji. Finalnie, skale zostały zasilone przez wszystkie pozycje z ładunkiem czynnikowym przekraczającym 0.3. Istniejące narzędzie ma zadowalające własności psychometryczne.
