There are some methods used in teaching English. One of them is TPR (Total Physical Response). This method was used for mothers and children in Villa Muka Kuning because it doesn’t only concern on language skill but it will make participants actively engange in learning process. In this community services, TPR method was applied by using flash cards, songs and games. After conducting the community services, it showed that both mothers and childres were very excited learning English. Moreover, the ability of mothers in teaching English to their children ran more effectively. It is hoped that mo

This article through two teachers’ cases, namely, observation of two teachers’ classes and interview with them, interview with their students and their students’ parents, attempts to investigate the effectiveness of TPR as a classroom technique with young learners and to explore how teachers use TPR and to identify some of the challenges of using it in practice. All the findings are discussed referring back to the relevant literature review and context. The findings of observation indicate that the TPR technique is a good way on the basis of games, role-play, storytelling and pair works with t

Abstract:
Temperature programmed reduction (TPR) method was introduced to analyze the structural change and thermal stability of LixCoO2 (LCO) cathode material. The reduction peaks of delithiated LCO clearly represented the different phases of LCO. The reduction peak at a temperature below 250 °C can be attributed to the transformation of CoO2–like to Co3O4–like phase which is similar reduction patterns of CoO2 phase resulting from delithiation of LCO structure. The 2nd reduction peak at 300~375 °C corresponds to the reduction of Co3O4–like phase to CoO–like phase. TPR results indicate the thermal insta

A novel TPR simulated skin was applied in the system of thermal manikin and water cooling garment, and the satisfying result in improving the heat dissipating efficiency of water cooling garment was achieved. Firstly, five kinds of elastomer were selected as candidate simulated skin. To evaluate the synthetic performance of these materials, a series of experiments characterizing material's mechanical and thermodynamic properties was performed, including stiffness test, heat property test, TGA test and so on. Then, fuzzy mathematic method was employed to perform synthetic evaluation, which show

<p>Teaching a foreign language to young children has been an increasingly dominant trend in most globalized societies. While there is abundant literature that supports teaching a foreign language at an early age through language immersion programs, little is known about the efficiency of strategies used to explicitly teach new vocabulary words in a foreign language to young learners. This empirical investigation aimed to assess and compare the efficiency of two mnemonics that have been traditionally used to explicitly teach new foreign language words: the Keyword Method (KWM) and the Tot
