Five hierarchies were developed to reflect variations in rule usage, the structuring of responses, presence of angles, spatial orientations, and stimulus complexity. Three-hundred thirty four subjects aged five through ten years were administered a 25 item design copying test. The data were analyzed using probabilistic models. First, most common variants identified by GWAS individually or in combination explain only a small proportion of heritability. This raises the possibility that additional forms of genetic variation, such as rare variants, could contribute to the missing heritability. The second limitation is that GWAS typically cannot identify which genes are being affected by the associated variants. Examination of rare variants, especially

Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to propose a Bayesian estimation through Markov chain Monte Carlo of multidimensional item response theory models for graded responses with complex structures and correlated traits. In particular, this work focuses on the multiunidimensional and the additive underlying latent structures, considering that the first one is widely used and represents a classical approach in multidimensional item response analysis, while the second one is able to reflect the complexity of real interactions between items and respondents. A simulation study is conducted to evaluate the para

Abstract:
This research is a deductive, theory-oriented, narrative research that studies the topic of encouragement which as a topic was born out of my own experiences of encouraging and discouraging teachers. Encouragement is generally expected of teachers, but during my studies I have not gained much practical knowledge on how to actually implement it. One of the goals was to find how encouragement is defined by different researchers, and by the three primary school teachers interviewed for this research, using a half-structured interview method. Secondly, the aim was to study the effects of encourage
