I start with a brief presentation of the key features of transcendental philosophy as advocated by Kant. This is followed by an analysis of J. N. Mohanty adds a spiritual tinge to transcendental philosophy that takes me to the idea of freedom as transcendence, where the essence of man lies in transcending the natural in him. Transcendence is a philosophical and theological concept of the finite, which is separated by an ontological gap (diastasis) from what it frees from itself and brings into existence. Usually, this term is used as a distinction between supernatural and personal existence. That which is transcendent cannot be under the control of anything, that is, transcendence does not even allow itself to be defined. The opposite of transcendence is the concept of immanence. Immanence describes a situation that is seen as being within the bounds of possible experience and knowledge. Transcendence is that “oth

Abstract:
The study deals with the issue of justice in the context of divine and natural law. The starting point is an analysis of selected texts from the Book of Judges, which are linked to Judge Deborah. The philosophical interpretation is based on the distinction between divine and natural law, with the main emphasis on the transcendent nature of both types of law. In the context of biblical interpretation, a judge is understood as a person who does not create law, only looks at natural law and listens to the voice of God, who reveals his will and his law. The judge, like the prophet, is the mediator

Abstract:
This short essay provides a summary of various interpretations of the concept, marginality, with particular focus on positive conceptualizations. From this backdrop, a new term, transcendent marginality, is presented. It is suggested that this term more clearly highlights the emancipatory potential of marginality—both for those occupying marginal positions and for those who may be at (or near) the center but who recognize the inherent oversimplistic, monolithic view of center–periphery dichotomies.

This essay considers our response to printed ephemera, analyzing British examples of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, specifically elegies, broadside ballads, and the life story and advertised theatrical performing of the eighteenth-century female soldier Hannah Snell, using methods from folklore, musicology, and literary study. The formats of the ephemera, and their performative modes seemingly identify these expressions as impermanent; at the same time, examining them collectively, we recognize an ironic gesture for lasting universal human sentiment and meaning. The ubiquitousness o
