This paper aims to fabricate multiple-winding transformers for polyphase supply that means more than the classical three-phase supply. Usually, transformers do not change the phase, that is, from single phase to three phase or vice versa, but according to the required power applications, transformer windings are connected in such a way to get the desired phase supply. Transformers are connected to implement three or more phases, which are generally referred as polyphase or multiphase transformers. Transformable products (or transformers), those with two or more functional states, are increasingly utilized by our society. As the mobility and complexity of life increases, so must the adaptability of the products which we use. To develop more adaptable products and systems, we need new design techniques. Transformer design methodology is a discipline with opportunity for expansive development. In particular, the question of deciding when a transformable design is applicable, is as yet unanswered by current research. The purpose of this study is to propose a response to the question “When t

Transforming products, or more generally transformers, are devices that change state in order to facilitate new, or enhance an existing, functionality. Mechanical transformers relate to products that reconfigure and can be advantageous by providing multiple functions, while often conserving space. A basic example is a foldable chair that can be stowed when not in use, but provides ergonomic and structural seating when deployed. Utilizing transformation can also lead to novel designs that combine functions across domains, such as an amphibious vehicle that provides both terrestrial and aquatic

Hashing utilizes hash code as a compact image representation, offering excellent performance in large-scale image retrieval due to its computational and storage advantages. However, the prevalence of degraded images on social media platforms, resulting from imperfections in the image capture process, poses new challenges for conventional image retrieval methods. To address this issue, we propose Contrastive Transformer Masked Image Hashing (CTMIH), a novel deep unsupervised hashing method specifically designed for degraded image retrieval, which is challenging yet relatively less studied. Abstract:
This document describes the steps used for the initial processing of the Bight Fracture Zone mooring data, collected between July 2015 – July 2017. The data were collected using SBE MicroCATs and Nobska MAVS- 4 Acoustic Current Meters. The initial processing for both the MicroCAT and MAVS-4 consisted of removing data collected while out of water, replacing data outliers with NaNs, and correcting drifts in the data. In addition, the MAVS-4 data were transformed from instrument coordinates to earth coordinates and magnetic declination was correction was applied.

It assesses how jobs, tasks, and skills are being transformed in food and beverage as well as in automotive manufacturing. These two industries have high relevance to 4IR technologies and both are important to Indonesia’s national employment, economic growth, and international competitiveness. They are also likely to benefit considerably from the transformational effect of 4IR, if there is adequate investment in jobs, skills, and training. The report is part of series d

Egypt has emerged as a key adopter and regional diffuser of digital authoritarian practices. Once limited by weak digital infrastructure, the Sisi regime has transformed the country into a technologically repressive state through sweeping legal reforms, censorship mechanisms, and expansive surveillance networks. Drawing heavily from the models of China and Russia—particularly in urban monitoring and information control—Egypt actively emulates their approaches. Crucially, both Chinese and Western technology firms have facilitated this transformation, revealing a broader pattern of global compli

T-2 toxin, a toxic product belongs to the trichothecene mycotoxins, attracts major interest because of its severe detrimental effects on the health of human and farm animals. The occurrence of trichothecenes contamination is global and they are very resistant to physical or chemical detoxification techniques. Trichothecenes are absorbed in the small intestine into the blood stream. The hypothesis of this project was to develop a protecting system using probiotic bacteria that will express trichothecene 3-O-acetyltransferase (Tri101) that convert T-2 to a less toxic intermediate to reduce inges

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are defined as non-methane, non-ethane hydrocarbons and have negative environmental effects, especially in the formation of ozone that creates smog. The combination of a gas chromatograph and a flame ionization detector can be implemented to quantify VOCs in engine exhaust following EPA Method 18/25A. The Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer can also be used to quantify VOCs in engine exhaust gas, following EPA Method 320. The trichothecene deoxynivalenol (DON, vomitoxin), one of the most common mycotoxin contaminants of grains, is produced by members of the Fusarium genus. DON poses a health risk to consumers and impairs livestock performance because it causes feed refusal, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hemolytic effects and cellular injury. The occurrence of trichothecenes contamination is global and they are very resistant to physical or chemical detoxification techniques. Despite significant externally driven efforts to strengthen the reach of the state in recent years, the government of Somalia still has one of the weakest tax capacities in the world, with a tax-to-GDP ratio of about 2 per cent. Many accounts of the tax challenges facing Somalia start with reference to the collapse of the state in 1991, and focus on the conflict and instability that followed. In this paper we draw attention to the historical legacies of weak taxation that predate recent conflict, and analyse the broader political economy of conflict and taxation that limit both the state’s cap
