In modern physics, the investigation of the interaction between light and matter is important from both a fundamental and an applied point of view. Cavity quantum electrodynamics (cavity QED) is the study of the interaction between light confined in a reflective cavity and atoms or other particles where the quantum nature of light photons is significant. The strong interaction between an exciton and cavity photon in a high-finesse microcavity can induce a hybrid light-matter eigenstate which is usually named as polariton in solid-state systems. This strong light-matter interaction can be achie

The electroweak phase transition has received renewed attention as a viable setting for the production of the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the universe. The relevant mechanisms are strongly dependent on key parameters like the expansion velocity of the walls of bubbles of the new phase. In addition, the key dynamical

A CSP consists of a set of variables among which a set of constraints are imposed, with a solution corresponding to an assignment for every variable such that no constraints are violated. In the phase space of the Galilean ODE, uniqueness arises from the non-perturbability of a connection between saddle points corresponding to plane waves and ground states. We use the effective potential at finite temperature as a means of analyzing phase transitions associated with spontaneous symmetry breaking. We develop the theory with two basic examples: the s
