Abstract:

Predmet istraživanja rada je pojam/teorijski koncept
„transkulturalnost“ u savremenoj interkulturalnoj (migracionoj) književnosti nemačkog govornog područja i mogućnosti njegove analize na primeru romana Saše Stanišića Kako vojnik popravlja gramofon (2006). Bavljenje teorijskim konceptom
„transkulturalnost“ kao i njegovom analizom u tzv.
„hibridnoj književnosti“ u koju spada i migraciona književnost nemačkog govornog područja zahtevaju preciziranje nekoliko pojmova – migracija, migranti, hibridna književnost, migraciona književnost, kultura, transkulturalnost, identitet, alteritet, hibridnost. Tekstovi koji se bave različitim susretima, diferancijama i preklapanjima kultura (postojećim odnosima identiteta i alteriteta i mogućnostima kulturne hibridnosti) su predmet istraživanja interkulturalne i postkolonijalne nauke o književnosti, koje će, takođe, biti detaljnije razjašnjene. Cilj razjašnjenja pomenutih pojmova i oblasti izučavanja je da se u Stanišićevom romanu prepoznaju transkulturalni elementi i da se odredi pristup analize tih pojava u literarnom tekstu. U radu se polazi od hipoteze da se u Stanišićevom romanu transkulturalnost favorizuje i da ovakav stav utiče ne samo na sadržinu romana već i na autorov odabir naratoloških kategorija. Postavljena hipoteza biće proverena pomoću komunikacionog modela teksta (odnos između teksteksternog nivoa realne komunikacije i tekstinternog nivoa pripovedanog/ likova i odnos između teksinternog nivoa načina pripovedanja i tekstinternog nivoa pripovedanog/ likova). Za analizu i vrednovanje koncepta transkulturalnosti na osnovu kategorije „likovi“ odabran je model pomoću koga je moguće detaljno analizirati transkulturalnost kako na kvantitativnom tako i na kvalitativnom nivou likova i koji obuhvata selekciju, koncepciju, karakterizaciju, funkciju i konstelaciju likova. Likovi se u ovom radu posmatraju kao nosioci određenih kulturnih vrednosti, a pomenuti model služi za pronalaženje odgovora na sledeća pitanja: Da li u datom fiktivnom svetu preovladavaju predstavnici heterogenih ili homogenih shvatanja kulture, da li transkulturalni likovi spadaju u kompleksne ili tipizirane likove, kakva je karakterizacija transkulturalnih likova, koju funkciju dobijaju transkulturalni likovi i da li su u datom fiktivnom socijalnom prostoru transkulturalni stilovi života uopšte poželjni? Sledeće kategorije, pomoću kojih će biti istražena funkcija transkulturalnosti u Stanišićevom romanu, su pripovedačka instanca, fokalizacija i redosled pripovedanja (tekstinterni nivo načina pripovedanja). U analizi teksta koristiće se pristup kakav ga zagovoraju „postklasične“ teorije o pripovedanju. Postklasična naratologija obuhvata mnoštvo različitih teorija, ali je svima zajedničko da ne prate
ideal objektivnih neutralnih sudova kao što to čini klasična naratologija, već se bave i kontekstom nastanka teksta, kao i ideološkim primesama u samom tekstu, koje se ogledaju i u odabiru načina pripovedanja. Cilj analize tekstinternog nivoa načina pripovedanja je pronalaženje odgovora na sledeća pitanja: Da li autorov odabir pripovedačke/-ih instance/-i i fokaliziranih likova doprinosi favorizovanju pogleda na svet kakav ga zagovara transkulturalni koncept i da li se u autorovom odabiru redosleda pripovedanja naglašavaju susreti i prožimanja različitih kultura?

Abstract:

Je commencerai par la question de savoir s’il est oui ou non souhaitable, nécessaire ou même possible d’élaborer une théorie unifiée d’intermédialité ou de transmédialité. J’aimerais pour l’instant laisser cette question en suspens et rappeler que nous avons assisté à des tentatives remarquables ces dernières années, ou du moins depuis les années 1980. Passer en revue les publications les plus réussies des vingt dernières années nous montre, qu’à cause des interrelations complexes et du chevauchement d’une grande variété et diversité de stratégies médiatiques et de formes de production, la tentative voulant présenter de façon claire les différenciations et les fonctions des relations intermédiales et transmédiales, a conduit dans certains cas à des définitions similaires, certains termes ayant des constituants similaires voire même identiques. Ces tentatives incluent tous types de définitions d’intermédialité et de transmédialité (ou dans une certaine mesure des termes comme "références aux médias" ("Medienbezüge"), "combinaison de médias" ("Medienkombination") et "changement de médias" ("Medienwechsel") (Rajewsky 2002 : 18 sqq.) ou le mélange de termes issus de la critique littéraire, comme l'intertextualité ou la "dialoguicité" avec des termes de la théorie médiatique.

El problema a tratar o la reflexión sobre una redefinición o reestructuración de la ciencia literaria (crítica académica literaria, estudios literarios, CL) y estudios culturales (EC) es un fenómeno global obvio cuando, por ejemplo, en la propuesta para este volumen de reflexiones conjuntas, se pregunta "¿cómo reaccionar frente a la disminución de estudiantes subgraduados y graduados de literatura y al incremento de los abocados a los estudios culturales?" Esta pregunta revela un fenómeno que se está dando masivamente en todos aquellos países en cuyas universidades se han introducido los estudios culturales, así en Alemania, así en el Instituto de Romanística y en el Centro de Investigación Iberoamericana de la Universidad de Leipzig.

Der vorliegende Text stellt eine musikdidaktische Reflexion darüber dar, ob und wie jugendkulturelle Musik im Musikunterricht allgemein bildender Schulen berücksichtigt werden kann. Zunächst wird Jürgen Terhags „Un-Unterrichtbarkeitsthese“ zu jugendkultureller Musik mit den Begriffen ästhetischer Theorie reformuliert (Abschnitt 1) und mit aktuellen Ergebnissen einerseits aus der Jugendkultur-Forschung und andererseits aus der Entwicklungspsychologie verknüpft (Abschnitt 2). Terhags Unterscheidung von „Schülermusik“ und „Schulmusik“ wird innerhalb des Begriffskontexts der ästhetischen Theorie aufgegriffen, aber zugleich auch modifiziert und präzisiert. Schülermusik und Schulmusik kennzeichnen nun die formale Unterscheidung zwischen einer korresponsiv-wertverhafteten und offenen Arten ästhetischer Weltzuwendung. Beide sind nicht allein für jugendkulturelle Musikpraxen reserviert. Konkrete Werte (Lebenseinstellungen, Habitus etc.), die in der korresponsiven, auch „atmosphärisch“ genannten Art ästhetischer Weltzuwendung zum Tragen kommen, ergeben sich aus den kulturellen Zugehörigkeiten der Schüler. Für Jugendkulturen, die für die jeweiligen jugendlichen Schüler aktuell sind, lassen sich aufgrund entwicklungspsychologischer Einsichten kulturübergreifende Gemeinsamkeiten formulieren, die einerseits korresponsive, andererseits offene ästhetische Praxen fördern.

Abstract:

The academic field of Ecocriticism has in recent years developed into an increasingly interdisciplinary, multifaceted field that no longer only concerns literary studies. This thesis aims to find a new angle that mostly has been overlooked by academics so far. It is therefore suggested to draw a connection between Ecocriticism and Cultural Memory Studies since both fields share interests in their considerations of place. The development of global and transcultural concepts in ecologically oriented literary studies, illustrated by Ursula Heise's concept of an eco-cosmopolitanism are discussed and related to new approaches in Cultural Memory Studies about Heimat (homeland) and belonging to certain places. The study then exemplifies these theoretical concepts by aiming for a close reading of Peter Handke's novel Die Obstdiebin (The Fruit-Thief) where traditional perceptions of Heimat and a local affiliation are criticized and simultaneously new, deterritorialized perspectives introduced.

Abstract:

This study highlights the experiences of minority individuals who have attended the Swedish primary and/or secondary school. The aim has been to describe their situated experiences with regards to intercultural sensitivity and solidarity. Previous research presents different findings that are related to the social and value-based aspect of schools. One study found that integration and respect among a diverse student group is achieved through intended strategies that seek to promote student interactions and collaborative inquiry across various types of boundaries. Another study found that children with minority backgrounds generally have poorer experiences of school climates. Through narrative interviewing, six women told stories of their school experiences. The stories were then analysed through Schütze’s methodology for narrative data analysis, explained by Jovchelovitch and Martin (2000). Theories of interculturality, transculturality and different conceptions of solidarity were used as frameworks for a thematic analysis. The results show that the majority of the interviewees experienced a general lack of intercultural sensitivity and solidarity in interaction with both peers and adults, and that their ethnic backgrounds made them targets for racial ostracism or prejudiced understanding. The interviewees also told stories of the individuals who made a difference in their lives because of the intercultural sensitivity and solidarity they had cultivated and the care they had for making the students feel respected as they are. This study shows that more awareness and understanding of intercultural sensitivity and solidarity in schools is needed and that the goals of inter- and transculturality are useful paradigms in multiple ways. One of them is that it can be used to create a deeper understanding of the unique ways that individuals interpret intercultural sensitivity and solidarity with regards to their intersectional experiences and perspectives in the world.

Abstract:

Diese Analyse von Martin Jankowskis Roman Rabet oder Das Verschwinden einer Himmelsrichtung untersucht die Konstruktion einer literarischen Fiktion, die durch die dokumentarische Schilderung der friedlichen Revolution in Leipzig 1989 einen korrigierenden Beitrag zum Erinnerungsdiskurs leistet. Im Aufsatz werden Themen beschrieben, die durch das Fiktive, Metaphorische und Dialogische der Romanerzählung für die Gegenwart relevant gemacht werden. Dazu wird die Anwendung von literarischen Stilmitteln wie Metaphern, Ironie, Verschweigen, intertextuellen Referenzen und Transformationen analysiert. Neben der Interpretation des fiktionalen Erzählens, werden im Roman hervorgehobene und angedeutete Vorkommnisse untersucht, die noch heute sowohl auf gesellschaftliche Prozesse als auch auf private Beziehungen einwirken.
This analysis of Martin Jankowski’s Rabet oder Das Verschwinden einer Himmelsrichtung explores the construction of a literary fiction, which consists of a documentary and corrective contribution to the remembrance discourse of the Peaceful Revolution in the German Democratic Republic in 1989. Along with a description of themes which gain relevance through the fictional, metaphorical and dialogical features of the narration, the study undertakes an analysis of stylistic devises such as metaphors, irony, concealment, intertextual references and transformations. Besides an interpretation of the literary narration, the study examines the novel’s emphasis on the influence of past events on contemporary society and private relationships.

Abstract:

Tears are flowing. Whether Yvonne Catterfeld, Kazim as-Sahir, Unati Msenga-na, Liu Huan, Simon Cowell or Lira – they are all part of a jury of global music casting show formats such as The Voice, Idol or Got Talent and show their tears in front of the camera, seemingly ashamed and yet completely uninhibited. Their tears flow in reaction to ‘particularly soulful’ music titles or to the candidates’ tragic personal stories, paired with the ‘right’ song selection. The display of great emotions is an essential element of reality TV formats. With Sara Ahmed, they can be understood in the sense of an ‘affective economy’ as an effect of their circulation, their staging as a specific ‘emotional style’ of dealing with emotions (Eva Illouz). The circulation of affects in casting shows is a global one, since the formats, developed in Europe, have produced local versions in over 60 countries worldwide. Emotions play an important role in the successful localization of the formats and define a complex area of conflict between a sensitization to socio-cultural characteristics and the ‘reproduction of culturalistic concepts’ (Laura Sūna) or clichés. In European cultural history, tears have developed a special significance as guarantors of the authenticity of empathy (Sigrid Weigel), and are generally associated with femininity, however at the same time have been film-historically recoded as ‘gender-neutral’ (Renate Möhrmann). Keeping in mind that all these casting show formats have been exported from Europe, these observations are of special interest, especially since one can see men and women crying equally in the Arabic, German or South African versions of e. g. The Voice. This article questions the concurrence of musical performance, display of tears, gender performance and the translocal dramaturgy of music casting shows.

How I am becoming a teacher? Searching for professional identity Is the development of a professional identity in students in the teacher training program at the PedF UK based on similar foundation as the professional identity of the students at the Detroit Teacher Program? How much is this professional identity influenced by the city and social situation in which those students are living and studying? Is the discourse that is used by both sides similar or different? A comparison of related narratives, concepts and metaphors will be done. What is the role attributed to art disciplines in the teacher training curriculum in both countries? A case study will explore all of these issues, and will be based on an analysis and reflecting on of videos which were created as part of the project, "How I Am Becoming a Teacher", as well as curriculum documents and other related documents.
