Manceau, Corinne. "La formation professionnelle en prison : la transposition institutionnelle et l'environnement didactique en question." Thesis, Aix-Marseille, 2019. http://www.theses.fr/2019AIXM0488.
Full textThis research concerns vocational training in a penitentiary context and what both prevents and promotes the diffusion of knowledge in this unusual training facility. The research is based on the framework of the anthropological theory of didactics and more particularly on the notion of institutional and personal relations. We examine, through socioeconomic data and legal texts, the influence of relations with prisons and prisoners on vocational training and, in some prisons, the nature of the conditions and constraints that drive the functioning of educational systems. The results of the research based on an interview survey as well as a questionnaire survey, reveals the incongruity of attempting to reproduce in prison what is happening in the free environment and invites us to rethink the didactic organization of vocational training so that it is more effective in terms of the prison's reintegration mission to which it contributes
Oueslati, Afifa. "L'activité de transposition professionnelle et didactique dans le travail de vulgarisatrices agricoles féminine en Tunisie." Thesis, Dijon, 2011. http://www.theses.fr/2011DIJOL030.
Full textWhile re-examining the concept of didactic transposition (DT) in a professional environment, we studied the work of female agricultural advisors in Tunisia. Two arguments are simultaneously defended. A) The limits of the concept of “didactic transposition” in analysing a work environment and the interest of the concept of “activity”. B) Women who act as agricultural advisors are creative workers rather than simple executants. We combined sociological, psychological, historical and cultural approaches, academic and vocational didactics, directly observing women in charge of agricultural extension, analysing interviews and documents, following the process of DT from the beginning to the end. We thus discovered that the process of DT only partly accounts for the reality of these women’s work, the analysis of their activity supplementing it. Transposition is not only didactic; it is also vocational and pragmatic. The prescriptive framework constitutes a referent for transposition; it also influences and constrains the women who are involved in agricultural extension. Transposition is the result of their activity which is socially, culturally and emotionally situated. We are thus better able to understand the diversity of the activities of transposition once they have been situated in a context and recognized in their individuality

Thesis, Lyon 2, 2009. http://www.theses.fr/2009LYO20029/document.
Full textThis work was born after a reflection about motivation and its diverse agents. We wanted to go from a uniquely psychological vision of motivation towards the examination of teaching instruments such as the teacher’s manual and its structure, its material shape… But coming from the principle that a manual or a method – mostly universal – can’t by itself influence a specific student, in a specific classroom of a specific country we ask ourselves how, in fact, the teacher uses these instruments to organize a course and – during such – motivate the students on their learning. To answer these questions we use as observation object the classes of French as a second language (FSL) of a Brazilian Language Center. Our main goal was to better understand the perception that teachers have of their group of students, the beliefs regarding their interests and the practical solutions they find to (re)motivate while establishing an “internal” teaching transposition from the manuals at their disposal

Full textLifelong learning (LLL) is one of the major objectives of the new reform of initial vocational training in Tunisia (2016-2020).However, the continuing vocational training system in its training engineering has been based on the competency-based approach (CBA) for two decades, in this framework we interrogate the links between the fundamentals and the practices of this approach and the aims of the LLL, notably at the level of the conceptual and theoretical foundations, the development of training programs and the practices of evaluation of learning outcomes.Based on a conceptual framework built around professional didactics and cognitive psychology, and on the basis of qualitative research with an exploratory scope, we seek to show whether it is consistent to develop the LLL, which comes from a specific frame of reference, on the basis of the CBA, which is, moreover, the product of another reference framework, or whether there are limits and even ambiguities and contradictions. The results of our research show the existence of certain tensions between the aims of the LLL and the practices of the CBE

Full textKathak, an Indian dance, comprises specific body technics and narrative significances. The democratisation of this art has lead to the deformation of its teaching and its presentation. Hence, we would like to rehabilitate its fundamental corpus in order to formalize and institutionalize its instruction. The study consists in elaborating teaching contents for a keen but uninitated French public for whom no teaching strategy has been defined as yet. Our general hypothesis is that the transmission of knowledge intended for lay French pubic requires transposition. Our principal question is the balanced mix of body techniques and narrative significances in the teachable kathak On the theoritical level, we will comply with the principles of didactic transposition which supervises the passage of an objet of reference into a teaching objet and on the operational level, we will follow the methodology of didactic engineering which controls the conception and the effects of teaching contents

Following a synthesis of published works on the knowledge and skill set specific to the professional translator, the thesis presents the study of a corpus based, on the one hand, on the content of eleven undergraduate curricula and, on the other hand, the results of a survey of university-based translator trainers in Iran. The originality of the thesis is founded on the merging of professional translation pedagogy as it is practiced in Iran and the founding principles of university level pedagogy as well as thedidactics of disciplines
Tavignot, Patricia. "L'analyse du processus de transposition didactique : exemple de la symétrie orthogonale au collège." Paris 5, 1991. http://www.theses.fr/1991PA05H073.
Full textThe concept of didactical transpositions points at the "decalage" between the reference knowledge (scientific and cultural), the knowledge to be taught, and the knowledge actually taught in the class-room. The understanding of the process requires a careful analysis of the syllabus, the official instructions and commentaries, the schoolbooks, the way lessons are prepared by teachers and the actual practice in the class room. The "noosphere" is the circle where the educational system and its societal environment interact to select the objets to be taught. The psychology of the actors requests that their representations be analysed : representation of science, of students, of teachers' practice. The process of didactical transposition is both sociological. And psychological to make this framework operational, one needs three systems of analysis (for the "noosphere", for the schoolbooks, for the work of teachers). The sliding process that goes from the reference knowledge to the teachers'practice is the empirical evidence of the transposition process. The above mentionned method is applied to the transposition of reflection. The possible ways of teaching reflection to sixth graders are exemplified by the schoolbooks and by the practice of teachers in the classroom. They can be summarized by diagrams and graphs which allow us to pick up the sliding meaning of reflection at different steps of the transposition process

Full textThis curricular-type research is concerned with the didactical transposition of the concept of function at secondary teaching level in France (corresponding to 10th and 11th grades) and Palestine (10th, 11th and 12th grades). In the first part, we present our problematic, theoretical frames and methodology. The second part handles out the study of the "institutional relation" to the concept of function in each one of the two teaching systems through the analysis of syllabus and textbooks. The third part is concerned by the study of the "personal relation" of students to the same object, it corresponds to the experimental part of our research and relies on a questionnaire. This comparative study reveals the institutional organisation weight on the knowledge acquired by students. Concerning more specifically the curricular project, it brings some light on mathematical organisations relative to the mathematical theme of functions

Full textStatistics, with its particularity being a science based on analysis anddecision, generates interests from all scientific and social domains. Thus, statistics isa many-sided discipline based on shared dimensions, but also on specificformulations.Researchers must develop specific skills to explain each step of a statisticalapproach in both situations studied: doctoral theses and expertise. Additionally, results need to be communicated clearly and precisely by a researcher in order toassure their comprehension and the appropriation of knowledge. The analysis ofdoctoral theses highlights a regularity in the use of statistical concepts and statisticallanguage, but also numerous specificities for academic disciplines. Moreover, theanalysis of expertise highlights that researchers set up didactic approaches toimprove the transfer of knowledge to decision-making politics. This thesis aims to take part in the reflection about i) the teaching ofstatistics at the university and ii) the pedagogical strategies that needs to bedeveloped by highlighting the teaching strategies proven to be useful for statisticaleducation. Our analysis clearly shows the importance of qualifying students in thedissemination and communication of results from statistical analyses. Takentogether, there is a clear need to develop new teaching strategies for statistics at theuniversity aiming at developing teaching methods facilitating explicitcommunication of statistical expertise and results addressing a wide range ofaudiences

Full textThe purpose of this exploratory work, grounded on an emerging professional pedagogy of design, is to understand the impact of work-linked training in design on the learning of the design activity by students. To that end, the knowledge involved is extracted, juxtaposed with the representations that the requirement offers, and then set against the representations that students build of design activity as a social object as well as those involved in learning activities. Therefore, the theoretical field which is used is multidisciplinary. It induces a dialectical methodologic framework based both on a curricular analysis, necessary to understand the observed teaching situations, and on an analysis of the students’ activities. The outcomes shed light on these (sometimes conflicting) representations of creative design activity and of the designer’s profession. Outcomes also show the alternating times and places of learning situations reveal to the students the specificity of both designing situation. Thus, the “organizing environments” of the real curriculum and untaught within the required one, modify and regulate the system of interactions and the development of the students’ design skills. Moreover, the exchange device induces a timeline and “enabling” working and learning environments. Finally, the production of knowledge, required by the curriculum through the “research thesis”, allows the “apprentices-designers-researchers” to develop forms of expertise that question the interactions between knowledge to act and meta-knowledge to design and seems to redefine the representation of the design skill

Full textThis thesis provides an analysis of the external didactic transposition of the concept of fractions by comparing the knowledge that has been generated from researchers in this field with the contents of teaching programs in eleven territories across three geographical areas (North America, Western Europe, Southeast Asia). This study is used as a means to determine how knowledge that is taught in schools, in its topogenetic and chronogenetic aspects, correlates to student performance in the international TIMSS evaluations, in particular in the fourth year tests for which France was a participant in 2015. It draws upon the anthropological theory of didactics to establish how constraints that have been defined by the authors of programs at the societal level of the didactic codetermination scale influence the dissemination of fractions-related praxeologies. This research framework also provides the appropriate tools to examine TIMSS items by considering the knowledge, techniques, and tasks required by students for success. To understand which approach better explains student results, the didactic approach has been compared with the cognitive analysis carried out by the TIMSS authors for these assessments. In addition, didactic transposition, in the context of school systems and society, has also been taken into consideration as a way to better understand student outcomes. Analysis of student, parent and teacher input about mathematics education in general, and fractions in particular, from the questionnaires proposed by the TIMSS authors, has led to the identification of specific characteristics of these educational systems and the relationship of these characteristics to the content of school curricula and student performance

Full text1-Subject matter and problematics the aim is to rationalize the individual's vocational project : how is it initially set up from a cognitive point of view? Does it develop still further? Can it be radically modified? The hypothesis is : a setting up process is a skill which is organized by a schema which allows the individual to a grip with the working environment. 2-The reference framework. In this approach, reference is made to the fact that culture and cognitive functioning are closely entwined and that the socio-economical situation of reunion doesn't allow the individual to find ways of constructing a vocational project. The individual is thus "culturally deprived" in so far as he has never been given the benefit of mediated learning experiences. . The vocational project is aleatory and may be refuted. The conduct draws on the scientific paradigm of "falsificationisme" : in the same way as a scientist does, the individual states a conjecture and tests it out if it stands up to the tests, it is corroborated. Otherwise, it is simply falsified. This thought process based on conjectures and refutations is characterized by certain constants and the schema is a way of demonstrating this. It contains the cognitive resources which enable the individual to generate, finalize and adjust his activities in a real life situation. In addition, it serves two purposes : to produce effects on "reality" or to call this "reality" in to question. 3-Proposals. Theoretical aspects the function of the schema involved in the conduct of a project is to question "reality". It is made up of - operational invariants (i. E. The way, the project is set up and the theorem whose plausibility and feasability must be investigated) ; - rules of conduct which allow the individual to develop his investigation ; - inferences whose results may be either the refutation or the corroboration of the project. Proposals for action - to act upon the elements of the schema by means of specific forms of mediation - the structures and the successive steps of a didactic situation

To set aside biologie of the evolution show the effect of a positivist conception concerning the pedagogy in natural science. Indeed, the official directions require as pedagogical rules, to bring forward evolutionary facts independently of the evolutionist theories. Pedagogical progression, in force at the present time, conveys unavoidably to give up scientific problematics based on the theories, and let the pupil supposing the evolution as having no objective reality (speculative knowledge). Because of the absence of conceptual links between facts and scientific problematics, the pupil comes to build up his own truth regarding the story of life, as one's can build a belief; some pupils believe in evolution;. . .

We identify markers for young people’s learning and development of the verbal interactions and interviews. The results show the importance of socialization of young novice through his verbal interaction with the trainer who is expert with social situations. As discussed by Vygotsky, interaction is considered "Social Situation of Development" who aims to ensure that young people learn the situations through their reinterpretation by the trainer. This work leads to the transformation of young people’s cognitive and operational activities necessary for controlling situations and to the appropriate adoption of rules that govern the physical, social and cultural spaces, with people outside the usual social environment of young people

Full textThe speech on the cold war in the textbooks builds an image of the world which exceeds the simple account of the confrontation between two superpowers. Around the central topic of the division of the world, is articulated a very coherent system of representations, which embodied the various events, characters and places of the conflict. The question of the place of Europe in the world is in the core of these representations. This system, actualized by the events that punctuate this history, also feeds from the ideological, political, historical concepts of the intellectual debate of the Sixties at our day. The need for taking account of the programs can explain the internal contradictions in these history textbooks. However they reflect directly the research and the intellectual debates of their time

Full textThis thesis, as part of a multidisciplinary research project financed by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment, examines the process of educational systems using a serious game dedicated to mechanical engineering called Mecagenius® in schools and universities. The study partly contributed to produce engineering tools of that serious game and explore how students and teachers used it in high school, IUT and university classes. The design and evaluation process relied on three related studies based on epistemological, cognitive and didactic programs. The findings report on the didactic use of Mecagenius® in regular classes and identify individualized learning strategies implemented by students according to their contrasting level of excellence in the classroom. The research highlighted differences in the way teachers integrated the artifact to their teaching methods ranging from transmissive to specific forms of instrumental genesis allowing them over the interactions with students, to use the serious game in ways that are nearly consistent with the educational choices that led to its design. Concerning students, the results showed different strategies that could help high skilled students in acquiring specific skills on Mechanical Engineering but could not help the weakest ones to go through the learning obstacles encountered in the game. The conclusion is about ways to train and support teachers with use of serious games in classroom

Full textThis thesis of didactic of the French Foreign Language analyses the role of the lexicon in the interaction with migrant adults en a professional environment. This context reveals that the lexicon holds a central place in the procedures of teaching and training. Their description requires a model of analysis of the word's relationships with its indications present in the didactic situation. Analysis of the indication, "process from witch an uncertainty starting from an indication is dissipated", such as Prieto (1964 sq. ) proposed, is integrated into advanced research on pragmatic and agrees with the Bange's model of pragmalinguistic (1982), witch it even supplements by the concept of universe of speech, returning its coherence an autonomy on the discursive level of data analysis. This integrates model is put to the test on a corpus collected during a training. The conclusion presents the prospects for didactic treatment of the lexicon

Full textThe research is in the purview of professional didactics and concerned the initial training in Maieutic Sciences, that is, since 2009, in the European framework called Bologna process. A first, quantitative, descriptive study about using of the Referencial of Job and Skills take care of the direction that each student gives his training according to its initial motivation and their professional project. This referencial is not privileged in the organization of initial formation in Maieutic Sciences. A second quantitative study, descriptive is undertaken with the teaching staff and students about the content of teaching in initial formation. The results are paradoxical. If the teaching teams use innovative teaching methods, they use their personal experiences to offer training devices, which does not necessarily correspond to the prerequisites of students in initial formation; the students make little link between theoretical knowledge and training in their internship.A qualitative survey is then conducted by interviews with students. It shows that students enroll in a learning skills, as well as a reflective process. They use certain features created by the teaching staff. The coaching during the internship has not been reformed by the 2011 program participate in this reflection process. The thesis has clarified the ways of student learning in maieutic sciences. The students use self-assessment to lie in formation

Full textIn this thesis in didactics of mathematics, we study a possible transposition to the classroom of practices of researchers using mathematical modelling. We are focusing on the devolution to secondary pupils (11 years to 18 years) of the work of horizontal mathematization necessary to make a situation rooted in reality accessible to a mathematical treatment. We frame our work in the methodology of didactic engineering. We also include issues related to teaching practices and also we have some similarities with the approach of second-generation didactic engineering. Our epistemological analyses allowed us to identify invariant practices of researchers in life sciences concerning horizontal mathematization. We then relied on these analyses to characterize, develop and analyse a realistic fiction designed as an adaptation of a professional problem of modelling on the prediction of growth of a tree. We conducted our experiments in a training device of collaborative problem solving with an initial phase of questions and answers. We support the hypothesis that the characteristics of a realistic fiction designed as an adaptation of a professional problem of modelling with an initial phase of questions-answers between peers are likely to favour the devolution of horizontal mathematization to pupils. The didactic analyses of the collected data were conducted based on the results of the epistemological study. They highlighted the devolution to students of horizontal mathematization. In addition, some traces of transposition of the invariant practices identified in the epistemological study were attested. Relying on the framework of the didactic and ergonomic double approach and on a study of literature in mathematics education on possible obstacles to the teaching of mathematical modelling, we have made hypotheses on the obstacles and conditions about teaching practices related to the teaching of horizontal mathematization. We used the potential magnifying effect offered by the in-service teachers’ training device to emit and test hypotheses about potential internal levers within this device, in respect to a certain extent, to possible obstacles and conditions. The study of the general scope of our results concerning ordinary teaching practices is still to be done

Full textThe strong and continuous improvements in the professional printing field have led to the ubiquity of printed objects in our daily life. The flexibility introduced by the digital printing process promises to associate extensive customization with mass production. The quick growth of printing usages and technologies, illustrated by wider printer farms and faster digital presses, leads to original challenges for the computer system in charge of driving them. In this thesis, we explore new approaches inspired by the high performance computing field to speedup the graphics processing necessary to digital printing. To achieve this goal, we introduce a distributed system which provides the adequate flexibility and performance by exploiting and optimizing both processing and synchronization techniques. We present our architecture up to the subtle parts of its implementation which allows our solution to meet the specific constraints on generating streams for printing purpose. We perform a complete evaluation of our solution and provide experimental evidence of its great performance and viability

Full textDespite the secularisation of the French society, religion takes an important place in our daily life. The religious fact is an important cog in the understanding of our world, and the teaching of it becomes a necessity. Our thesis focus on the teaching of history in secondary education, through the analysis of school textbooks published between 2008 and 2012, that correspond to a coherent set from year 7 to year 13. We grasp the phenomenon of didactic transposition of the ‘religious fact’ object within the textbooks. In the frame of the Anthropological Theory of didactics, we study the teaching of religious fact through its tool and set light on the praxeology complexes we can find in the history textbooks. In front of tasks we already find in the ‘tell’ ‘describe’, and ‘explain’ requirements, we can bring out the existence of different techniques that come under iconography or narration exploitationblurred outlines of the religious fact as an object, prevalence of monotheism, confinement of the subject in the past, our study brings light on large variations in the presentation of our subject and on the very cautious way the school treat with the teaching of the religious fact

Full textThe general aim of this dissertation is the analysis of the process of didactic transposition whose major aim to challenge the illusion of transparency which affects the knowledge that is imparted. It hopes to achieve this by showing the differences between the intellectual and didactic functioning mechanisms. This dissertation has elected to consider the field of plane geometry because its use and role can be observed in the teaching of mathematics in the junior classes at the secondary school level. This example highlights the specific constraints of contextual meaning which require recourse in the process of transposition and also constitutes a mode of functioning. A distinction is made between constraints inherent in what is called the "noosphere" (the sphere of thought and decision-making), and contraints inherent in didactic functioning mechanisms through didactic means (syllabus for the teaching geometry, geometry exercises). These didactic creative models provide a field of study in which other aspects of didactic transposition may be examined concretely within a theory of contextual meaning. The contextual meaning attempts to describe the factors that determine a didactic situation. Teaching in itself or the concept to be taught must take place within a context form whence i derives its meaning and contextual significance. This is what is referred to as the concept "contextual meaning". The significant contribution of this dissertation will be its study of the effects of didactic transposition

Full textThis University thesis looks into the work done by teachers in Agri-Sciences and Techniques: how a "sound agricultural practice" is transmitted in a vocational teaching situation. Its aim is to grasp the organisation of the teaching activity in a particularly discretionary context and in various fluctuating situations. The conceptual framework used for this research is at the intersection of Professional Teaching Practice and an extended instrumental approach. The analytical work is based on tangible teaching practices as they were expressed, and takes into account the symbolic dimension of the device used by the teacher. As it bears on one technical element, the observation of the teachers’ activity makes it possible to highlight the various ways they make use of the chosen devices. The results analysis is based on the concept of invariance (both of the subject and the situation), as it was expected from the teacher’s range of devices and also dialectic relation between the concepts of "empowerment" and "self-accomplishment". The variations can be explained by the active process of the person’s identity construction, proceeding from the feeling of personal sense, a feeling each time unique and incessantly renewed: the teacher’s knowledge and cognition, as it is mustered through the devices used, appear to be closely linked to a form of "re-cognition", leading to varied teaching styles. From a more general point of view, the results verify the model of a "teaching person", as it was propositioned in the theoretical framework; it gives the global teaching act a broader meaning that reaches beyond language
