Abstract:
Cryptography is a field to solve the problems related to Information Security. There are numerous techniques like substitution and transposition methods to convert the real message into secret code which will be tough for intruder to understand .These techniques change the position or substitute intelligible message characters to produce the ciphertext which is more secure to transfer as compare to plaintext. Columnar Technique is also such technique which changes the position of plaintext message characters and produces the ciphertext. In this research paper, improved columnar technique is presented which will produce more randomness in the ciphertext generated to make it difficult for cryptanalyst to predict the plaintext from it. Abstract:
Abstract BACKGROUND: Tortuous and dolichoectatic vertebrobasilar arteries can impinge on the brainstem and cranial nerves to cause compression syndromes. Transposition techniques are often required to decompress the brainstem with dolichoectatic pathology. We describe our evolution of an anteromedial transposition technique and its efficacy in decompressing the brainstem and relieving symptoms. OBJECTIVE: To present the anteromedial vertebrobasilar artery transposition technique for macrovascular decompression of the brainstem and cranial nerves. METHODS: All patients who underwent vertebrobasilar artery transposition were identified from the prospectively maintained database of the Vascular Neurosurgery service, and their medical records were reviewed retrospectively. The extent of arterial displacement was measured pre- and postoperatively on imaging. RESULTS: Vertebrobasilar arterial transposition and macrovascular decompression was performed in 12 patients. Evolution in technique was characterized by gradual preference for the far-lateral approach, use of a sling technique with muslin wrap, and an anteromedial direction of pull on the vertebrobasilar artery with clip-assisted tethering to the clival dura. With this technique, mean lateral displacement decreased from 6.6 mm in the first half of the series to 3.8 mm in the last half of the series, and mean anterior displacement increased from 0.8 to 2.5 mm, with corresponding increases in satisfaction and relief of symptoms. CONCLUSION: Compressive dolichoectatic pathology directed laterally into cranial nerves and posteriorly into the brainstem can be corrected with anteromedial transposition towards the clivus. Our technique accomplishes this anteromedial transposition from an inferolateral surgical approach through the vagoaccessory triangle, with sling fixation to clival dura using aneurysm clips.

Abstract:
Cubital tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the second most common neuropathy of the upper extremity due to entrapment of ulnar nerve. Surgical management is the better intervention compared with conservative one. This study is to evaluate operative technique preferable for the treatment of cubital tunnel syndrome and compare between simple decompression versus anterior transposition, and subcutaneous anterior transposition versus sub muscular anterior transposition. Level III systematic review and network meta-analysis were performed to compare clinical improvement between subcutaneous anterior transposition and sub muscular anterior transposition, and simple decompression and anterior transposition. Two sub analysis was also performed: 1) comparing sub muscular anterior transposition to subcutaneous anterior transposition, 2) comparing Infection rate of Simple Decompression to Anterior transposition. We identified eighteen studies in which 5 studies were RCT and 13 were non RCT (8 Retrospective Case series and 5 Prospective study) which involved a total number of 491 simple decompressions, 307 sub muscular transpositions and 485 subcutaneous transposition patients. We also found evidence of publication bias or statistical study heterogeneity. Odds ratio of improvement with simple decompression versus anterior transposition were 0.781 with a 95% CI of [0.574, 1.063], I2 = 0%, p value =0.117. The odds ratio of improvement of subcutaneous transposition versus sub muscular transposition was 1.208 with a 95% CI of [0.609, 2.397], I2 = 0%, p value=0.588 and the odds ratio of post-op infection in simple decompression versus anterior transposition was 0.287 with 95% CI of [0.097, 0.845], I2 = 0%, with p value=0.024. Sensitivity analyses with use of fixed-effects methodology confirmed these findings to be robust and no heterogeneity was found. The result in this study showed that there is no significant difference between the treatment of cubital tunnel syndrome while comparing the improvement parameter for simple decompression vs anterior transposition and sub muscular transposition vs subcutaneous transposition but while doing a sub-analysis comparing the post op-infection between simple decompression and anterior transposition significant difference was found, and also with subcutaneous transposition and sub muscular transposition.

Abstract:
Particularly with modern transposition ciphers, the evolving field of cryptography requires advances in safe encryption methods. The key problem fixed is the absence of robust security against advanced cryptanalytic methods provided by traditional transposition ciphers. This work uses chaos theory to automate the production of substitution boxes (S-boxes), which are fundamental to transposition ciphers, so addressing this constraint. Strong nonlinearity and resistance to differential and linear cryptanalysis are produced by the proposed method by combining chaos-driven algorithms. The experimental data emphasizes the relative efficiency of the chaos-driven S-box to traditional transposition ciphers. In nonlinearity and differential uniformity, the chaos-driven S-box considerably exceeds the performance of the Columnar Transposition Cipher, Rail Fence Cipher, and Permutation Cipher achieving values of 65.00 to 78.00 and 2 respectively. considerable resistance to both linear and differential cryptanalysis indicated by this low differential uniformity and considerable nonlinearity greatly enhances its security profile.

Abstract:
Background: The surgical treatment of Cubital tunnel syndrome (CubTS) is still a matter of debate. No consensus exists about the necessity of anterior transposition of the ulnar nerve after decompression. However, this technique is fairly common in clinical practice. Material and Methodology: In the present study we compared the operative technique (incision length, operative time), postoperative care (postoperative pain and complications) and the outcome between subcutaneous transposition and submuscular transposition of the ulnar nerve as two surgical modalities in treating moderate CubTS. Between March 2004 and March 2007, twenty six patients with moderate CubTS (according to Dellon’s grading system) were stratified according to age and gender into these two surgical techniques. The two groups were prospectively followed up 2 weeks, 6 months and 12 months postoperatively by the same observer and the operation outcome was assessed using the Bishop rating system. Results: We found that the subcutaneous transposition of the ulnar nerve was associated with shorter incision, shorter operative time, less postoperative pain, less postoperative complication and better outcome compared with the submuscular transposition. Conclusion: The authors recommend the subcutaneous technique when considering anterior transposition of the ulnar nerve in treating moderate CubTS.

Abstract:
The columnar technique is one of the transposition techniques which is used to secure information by rearranging plaintext characters into a grid based on the key. However, the traditional columnar method has some limitations in protecting information against modern attacks. This paper presents a modification of the columnar algorithm aimed to enhance security by adding a layer of complexity. The modified technique involves rotating the array a number of times, denoted by ‘n’. The ‘n’ value and key are sent to the receiver. The array is then read off in columns, in top-down order according to the keyword, increasing security, even when the attacker knows the key. Abstract:

Abstract:
J'explorerai comment il met en place des techniques de projet, véritables manières de faire consistant à intervenir sur des types architecturaux consacrés pour produire des objets techniques concrets<br>The goal of the thesis is to bring out, in several architects, the existence of a different kind of relationship with the past, which authorizes a new kind of reading of history. Benjamin wrote: “some people transmit things by making them intangible and conserving them; other people transmit situations by making them handy and liquidating them. Last are those that are called destructives. In this way, several modern works, austere in appearance, could they not result from a long transformation process punctuated by successive disappearances ? My hypothesis is that some architects, such as Le Corbusier, choose to insert themselves in that paradox, producing project techniques which do not come under dialectics between continuity and interruption, nor under reference work: I will call transposition the work that consists in graft on the genesis of an architectural device to accelerate it by the exhaustive actualization of his modes of existence. If Jeanneret detaches from the culture of his time onwards since the Orient Trip it is because he does not consider the architectural device as an inert entity which can be extrapolated. He recognizes in it a technical object capable of producing effects as a perception machine. His attitude consists therefore in visiting tradition, not to extract references, but as knowledge about the power that some objects have to produce effects. I will explore how he invents project techniques which are real ways of doing, consisting on intervening on, established, architectural types to produce concrete, technical objects

The democratisation of this art has lead to the deformation of its teaching and its presentation. Hence, we would like to rehabilitate its fundamental corpus in order to formalize and institutionalize its instruction. The study consists in elaborating teaching contents for a keen but uninitated French public for whom no teaching strategy has been defined as yet. Our general hypothesis is that the transmission of knowledge intended for lay French pubic requires transposition. Our principal question is the balanced mix of body techniques and narrative significances in the teachable kathak On the theoritical level, we will comply with the principles of didactic transposition which supervises the passage of an objet of reference into a teaching objet and on the operational level, we will follow the methodology of didactic engineering which controls the conception and the effects of teaching contents

Abstract:
Some act as rheology modifiers allowing the thickening of aqueous phases but also as emulsifiers, stabilisers or texturing agents. Polymers may be synthesised according to different processes depending on intended end-use properties. Inverse emulsion polymerisation is one of the classical processes. In an innovative environment, it is interesting to explore new processes in order to develop products whose end-use properties may potentially differ from products accessible in standard batch processes. In this perspective, the miniaturisation of processes and the transposition to continuous mode, which is made possible by microstructured technologies, represent a promising alternative. In this context, this work focuses on the transposition of a reverse concentrated miniemulsion polymerisation - not enough described in the literature - from a conventional batch process to continuous microfluidic devices. To address this issue, the homopolymerization of sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate (ATBS) has been chosen as a model reaction. The selected methodology, mainly experimental, consisted in acquiring physicochemical and kinetic data in a large range of process parameters by the use of microreactors. The main scientific issues this work attempted to address are (i) the implementation of analytical tools allowing a precise characterisation and the monitoring of the evolution of this complex reactive systems, (ii) the understanding of reaction mechanisms involved in this type of polymerisation, (iii) the influence of the transposition in a confined reactor and in continuous mode on end-use properties of products, (iv) the understanding of involved phenomena (hydrodynamics, heat and mass transfers), their coupling and their influence on the behaviour of the emulsion and the performances of the reaction. Firstly, a detailed pre-analysis of the reactive system and its implementation in a batch process have been realised; the objectives were to map the involved phenomena and define characterisation and monitoring methods adapted to the system. The polymerisation has then been implemented both in 1 L and in few millilitres stirred fed-batch reactors, allowing to evaluate the influence of the size change of the process. In addition to the state of art, these first results lead to the design of a microreactor adapted to the targeted reaction. A third part of this work has been dedicated to the study of the behaviour of the emulsion in unreactive conditions in microreactor with high temperatures. At last, it has been possible to implement the reaction in a microreactor and to evaluate the influence of this transposition on the end-use properties, as well as the mechanisms and phenomena involved in the reverse concentrated miniemulsion polymerisation

Abstract:

Abstract:
This dissertation aims to locate and draw out resonances of impressionism in Swedish and Finland-Swedish prose at the end of the nineteenth century, a field hitherto overlooked in the critical debate on literary impressionism. Through the initial examination of the use of the term in an international context comprising the Scandinavian scene, the aim is to show the many alternative accesses to literary impressionism. By focusing on three landmark discussions on the theme in the Nordic countries of the late nineteenth-century (Herman Bang, the Kristiania Bohème, August Strindberg) the inclusive, wide-ranging Scandinavian understanding of the relationship between impressionism and literature is introduced. Accordingly, the texts thereafter chosen for closer scrutiny are intended to disclose this extensive interpretation of impressionist writing: Helena Westermarck’s short story Aftonstämning (Evening Mood) from 1890 is read as an example of interart transposition, i.e., as a piece of prose adopting a theme, as well as the compositional aesthetics, of painterly impressionism; Stella Kleve’s novels and short stories are instead seen as indicative of the narrative modes of a literary impressionism drawing on theatrical representation, as in Bang’s impressionist poetics, but also present textual features such as the ‘metonymic mode’ and ‘delayed decoding’, elements central to the international approach to impressionist prose. The concluding analysis of fictional impressionists in the prose of authors such as Gustaf af Geijerstam, Mathilda Roos, and Georg Nordensvan advances a many-sided portrait of the impressionist painter while remaining true to this study’s pluralistic approach to literary impressionism by including a discussion of K. A. Tavaststjerna’s Impressionisten (The Impressionist) from 1892, whose protagonist is not an artist but a hypersensitive, impressionable subject. This last section also investigates how fiction is used to convey a critical discussion of the means and methods of painterly impressionism, as well as the function of the use of the visual arts in the texts.

Abstract:
Homophonic translation — also known as ‘sound translation’ or ‘surface translation’ (from the German: Oberflächenübersetzung) — is today practiced by a growing number of writers in the United States, Germany, France, and many other countries. Following such pioneers as Louis Zukofsky, Ernst Jandl, and the members of the Oulipo, this heterodox literary genre has spread widely across the international map. Consisting in the transposition of the sound qualities of a source text into another language without initially addressing that text’s meaning, this technique also appears as a privileged vehicle to question, subvert, deconstruct our ideas on language, translation, and literature. Abstract:
This chapter explores how individual knowledge leaders use research-based management knowledge to stimulate organizational and system-level change. Situated within literature on organizational processes and practices, we study empirically how key knowledge leaders, embedded within each of our sites, mobilized research-based knowledge into organizational practices. First, we characterize knowledge leadership tactics, of knowledge transposition by mid-level specialists identified with particular knowledges, who used their local credibility to authoritatively interpret and transpose certain texts into organizational practices. Secondly, senior leaders’ appropriation and synthesis of texts was used to produce an assemblage of actors, materials, and techniques that powerfully shaped organizational narratives and projects. Overall, we argue that knowledge leadership entails effortful processes of imbuing texts with emotions, identities, and politics to mobilize locally significant ‘textual economies’ of management knowledge.

Abstract:
Abstract These first explicit measurements of permeation on thin membranes have so far raised more questions than they have answered. In particular, thin membranes demand more accurate measuring techniques, and a simple transposition of the methods employed for thick membranes is not always sufficient. Similarly, stringent validation procedures are necessary in this case, whereas they have tended to be overlooked in the past due to the familiarity of the accepted methodology. Despite their incomplete and imperfect nature, these first results show that the combination of a direct permeation measurement on a thin membrane and the inflation kinetics PH2(t) of a hydrogen probe gives access to the two controlling parameters of all hydrogen damage mechanisms, i.e. the raw charging flux Jch and the degassing coefficient α = Jdeg I AH2 = Jch / PH2(∞). While no accurate and reliable evaluation has yet really been obtained, approximate values of Jch are nevertheless available for 11 of the 16 nodes in the EFC 16 diagram, and their corresponding levels sketch out the limits of the 1-2-3 severity domains in the high pH-high H2S corner. Certain practical consequences are also already clear, including : the need to re-evaluate the harmfulness of "ready to inflate" non-surface breaking defects in steel products (future ISO 11960 standard for tubing/casing),the need for laboratory calibration on same type membranes of the permeation measurements performed on thick membrane during site monitoring, the overestimation of hydrogen damage risks by permeation or SSC tests carried out under low PH2S and 1 bar of CO2, compared to the same pH obtained at the much higher PCO2 levels that may be encountered in service (e. g. North Sea).
