Abstract:
Este estudo investiga a manipulação do sistema de gênero gramatical entre travestis profissionais do sexo do Sul do Brasil. Verificou-se que há uma preferência êmica do grupo por formas gramaticais femininas. Porém, as tensões ideológicas e corporais que circundam as travestis forçam-nas a utilizar o masculino em contextos específicos. As travestis empregam o masculino gramatical para 1) produzir narrativas sobre o período anterior às suas transformações corporais; 2) reportar discursos produzidos por outros ao falar de travestis; 3) falar de si em suas relações familiares; e 4) distinguir-se de outras travestis com as quais as falantes não se identificam. Assim, o estudo demonstra como essas travestis usam o gênero gramatical do Português como um recurso lingüístico para manipular suas identidades e as identidades da comunidade a que pertencem.

Abstract:
Selon la perspective interactionniste de la communication développée par Goffman (1973a, 1973b), l’image qu’un individu a de lui-même et qu’il tente de projeter sur les autres se construit au cours de l’interaction en fonction de représentations socialement partagées. Adoptant cette approche théorique, ma recherche vise à identifier, dans les interventions médiatiques de la drag-queen Mado Lamotte, les procédés discursifs qui participent à la construction de son image publique. L’analyse portera sur les actes de parole potentiellement menaçants (Brown et Levinson, 1987) et à leur amplification (Kerbrat-Orecchioni, 1990). Le corpus est constitué de 29 apparitions télévisées principalement extraites d’émissions de divertissement. La méthode d’analyse du discours (Charaudeau et Maingueneau, 2002) a permis de dégager les différents actes de parole menaçants (Venderveken, 1988) ainsi que les types de procédés par amplification (Vincent, Laforest et Turbide, 2008). L’analyse révèle trois dimensions de transgression sociale dans le modèle de construction de l’image de la drag queen : les normes interactionnelles, la frontière entre les domaines public et privé et l’identité de genre.

Aging and transgender are definitions that were created by society to organize its process of functioning. Biological sciences played a very important role concerning those definitions. They created what we call normal and abnormal. Our intention comprehends in getting to know what happens to those who are considered abnormal on gender rules. Because there is almost no study considering what is called transgender aging, this work is socially relevant. Gender and aging are understood to be natural and essential processes. However, they are performed by repeated actions that make us feel that gender and aging are inherent and happens exact the same way to everyone. For being considered deviants, transgender people are not seen as human beings. They end up living in violent environments. Their life expectancy is low. Many of them do not believe to reach old age. They face a lot of prejudice and death threat. Those who get to what we call old age are considered survivals. They become a model to the younger ones of their social group. This research was able to show satisfactorily their demands and needs. To be considered visible, they have to count on public policies to give them existence since their childhood. That way, we believe they will reach what we call old age with respect as dignity, already assured by the Universal Human Rights<br>O presente estudo tem o objetivo de conhecer o período do processo de vida, chamado de velhice e envelhecimento daquelas que foram designadas como travestis. Essas denominações foram construídas para organizar o funcionamento social. As ciências biomédicas foram importantes na categorização dessas pessoas. Apropriaram-se dos corpos humanos e determinaram o que é considerado normal, portanto desejável e o que é considerado anormal, logo patológico e indesejável. A intenção é compreender o impacto que tais diagnósticos terão sobre aqueles que são reconhecidos como anormais em relação ao que foi denominado de gênero sexual. Devido ao número quase inexistente de pesquisas sobre envelhecimento e velhice de travestis, fez-se necessário esse estudo, que não pretende esgotar o tema, mas sim iniciar uma importante discussão. Os aspectos de gênero, bem como os de velhice foram relacionados. Percebeu-se que tanto o gênero como a velhice são compostos por atos, que constantemente reiterados, dão a impressão que há uma essência natural de gênero e velhice, inerentes a todos os corpos, manifestando-se ao longo da vida. Foram realizadas três entrevistas abertas com o foco em histórias de vida. Por serem consideradas, desviantes e anormais, travestis já não são vistas como não humanas desde tenra idade. Atravessam a vida como invisíveis e sob muito preconceito. Por causa disso, improvisam suas existências em contextos violentos. Suas expectativas de vida são baixas. As que vivem até a chamada velhice, podem ser consideradas verdadeiras sobreviventes. Acabam servindo de referência e exemplo para as mais jovens. O objetivo principal da pesquisa resultou no levantamento de demandas e necessidades em relação às travestis. Percebe-se que precisam urgentemente de políticas públicas que as reconheçam como humanas desde sempre. Foram entrevistadas seis pessoas que se reconhecem ou já se reconheceram como mulheres travestis ou trans. Também fizeram parte das análises, falas e situações que acompanhei nas rodas de conversa nas Segundas Transtornadas, que ocorrem na Associação em Defesa dos Direitos Humanos com Enfoque na Sexualidade ? ADEH, em Florianópolis, assim como falas que escutei em Congressos, Seminários, etc. Embasei a abordagem teórica nas obras de Judith Butler e Jacques Derrida, assim como busquei contribuições da psicanálise ? considerando o diálogo crítico que Butler e Derrida estabelecem com essa abordagem ? e dos transfeminismos. Recorri aos conceitos de différance, hospitalidade, vulnerabilidade, precariedade, abjeção, heteronormatividade, cisheteronormatividade, ficção identitária, dentre outros. Na pesquisa foi possível discutir como paradoxais as categorizações das transexualidades e travestilidades, que produzem as violências da patologização, ao mesmo tempo em que se mostram como possibilidades de garantia de direitos relacionados ao processo transexualizador do SUS e a processos jurídicos que reivindicavam retificação de nome e sexo em Registros Civis. A grande recorrência de situações de violências em ambientes, como família, instituições de escolarização, busca por emprego formal e outros, foi associada à naturalização de tais violências. Os territórios de prostituição apareceram nas falas das entrevistadas como ambientes nos quais eram maiores as probabilidades de ocorrerem situações de violências com mulheres travestis e trans, em especial envolvendo clientes. Por fim, as informações veiculadas pelas mídias sobre violências envolvendo mulheres travestis e trans foram discutidas com as entrevistadas, que consideravam as notícias desrespeitosas, mas não violentas, o que analisei como formas de naturalização de violências. Desse modo, foi possível desconstruir formas singulares de lidar com o que as entrevistadas consideravam ou não por violências. Em alguns momentos, essas apropriações dos (con)textos se davam de forma a reafirmar binarismos como o de vítima/agressor. Assim como também surgiram falas em que foram articuladas possibilidades de deslocamento de significados atribuídos às vivências relacionadas às violências. De modo a mostrar a potencialidade e as estratégias para lidar com tais (con)textos, que envolviam uma ética pautada no reconhecimento da sua implicação em algumas dessas situações violentas.<br>Abstract : This dissertation had as main objective to desconstruct processes of singularizations about violence experienced or not by a group of transvestite and trans women residents in the region of Grande Florianópolis. Six people, who recognize themselves now or in the past as trans and travestite woman, were interviewed. It is also included in the analyses speeches and situations that I accompanied during meetings at Segundas Transtornadas occured in the Associação em Defesa dos Direitos Humanos com Enfoque na Sexualidade - ADEH (Association for Defense of Human Rights with a Focus on Sexuality), in Florianópolis, as well as speeches I have heard in Congresses, Seminars, etc. I based the theoretical approach in the works of Judith Butler and Jacques Derrida, as well as I sought contributions of the psychoanalysis ? considering the critical dialog both authrors establish with it ? and the Transfeminist discussions. I brought the concepts of différance, hospitality, vulnerability, precarity, abjection, heteronormativity, cisheteronormativity, identitary fiction, and others. In the research, it was possible to articulate the transsexualities and travestilities as paradoxical cathegorizations when producing the violence of pathologization at the same time they show themselves as possibility of guarantee of rights related to the Transsexualizing process of the SUS (Health Unic System) and legal processes that demanded rectification of name and sex in Official documents. The great recurrence of situations of violence in places, such as family, schooling institutions, search for formal employment and others, was associated with the naturalization of such violence. The sites of prostitution appeared in the speeches of the interviewees as environments with the highest probabilities of ocurring situations of violence with transvestite and trans women, in special involvement clients. Finally, the news of violences involving transvestite and trans women were discussed with interviewees, which they considered to be disrespectful but not violent, what I analyzed as forms of naturalization of violence. In this way, it was possible to desconstruct singular ways of dealing with what those interviewed considered as violence or not. Sometimes these appropriations of the (con)texts were given in a way to reaffirm binarisms like that of the victim/aggressor. As in other moments, there have been speeches in which possibilities for the displacement of meanings attributed to vivencies related to violence, in order to show the potentiality and the strategies to deal with these (con)texts, which involved an ethic based on recognition of the implication of the subject in some of the violent situations.

I seek to understand the existence of the pressure between this identity project and the creation of two categories, the older and younger, observing the detachment and existent approximation between different generation of transvestites, just like specific valuations of some bodies and behaviors from each one of them. The study realized in Sao Carlos and Ribeirao Preto undertook ethnography at the prostitution areas and the transvestites homes, combined with online contacts through social media like Facebook©. Based on Queer theory, the Brazilian studies about the travestite‟s and the the idea of "generationality" and aging, I seek the creation of particular idea of being young and aging as travestite for the ones that prostitute themselves. Seeing that for this group aging is not only related with the age but with a specific relationship with the body, the job market and the social relationships that develops and keep the environment where they live.<br>Esta pesquisa busca compreender de que forma as diferentes gerações de travestis que se prostituem no interior de São Paulo construíram seus corpos e subjetividades. Procuro compreender a existência de tensões entre estes projetos identitários e a construção de duas categorias, a das mais velhas e a das mais novas, observando os distanciamentos e aproximações existentes entre as diferentes gerações de travestis, bem como as valorações específicas de determinados corpos e comportamentos por cada uma destas. O estudo realizado nas cidades de São Carlos e Ribeirão Preto, empreendeu etnografia nos locais de prostituição e nas casas onde vivem essas travestis, unido a contatos online por plataformas de relacionamento como o Facebook©. Tomando como base a Teoria Queer, os estudos brasileiros sobre travestilidade e as noções de geracionalidade e envelhecimento, busco a construção de uma noção particular sobre “ser nova” e “envelhecer travesti” para as que se prostituem. Visto que o envelhecimento para este grupo não está associado meramente a questão da idade, mas sim a uma relação específica com o corpo, o mercado de trabalho e as relações sociais que desenvolvem e mantém com o ambiente em que vivem.

Abstract:
La télévision traditionnelle, « voix de la France » est un média de masse. Avec un taux d’équipement des foyers de plus de 98%, un taux d’écoute de plus de 3h50 par jour, un chiffre d’affaires publicitaires de plus de 4 Mrd EUR , et des « contenus rendez-vous » assurant des audiences record, cette télévision trône dans le salon et réunit la famille. Jusque dans les années 1980, elle reste placée sous le contrôle du pouvoir politique.Sous la Présidence de François Mitterrand, la télévision se libéralise. De nouvelles chaînes privées et commerciales financées par l’audience et la publicité apparaissent, tandis que le secteur public reste principalement financé par la redevance audiovisuelle. Dans les années 90, l’arrivée du câble et du satellite, puis de la TNT en 2005, permettent l’accroissement considérable du nombre de nouvelles chaînes et des offres de télévision (abonnements au câble, au satellite, et à Canal + en 1984). Le numérique révolutionne le secteur de la télévision, les technologies et les usages. Le nombre de chaînes continue de s’accroître de façon exponentielle. On voit se développer la production de contenus générés par les consommateurs (UGC), et l’interactivité est favorisée grâce aux réseaux sociaux. L’évolution des équipements changent les habitudes de consommation du petit écran, notamment pour les plus jeunes. L’ordinateur, la tablette, le Smartphone et la télévision connectée permettent de visionner « la télévision comme je veux, où je veux, quand je veux. ». Ainsi la télévision traditionnelle considérée comme un média de masse, tend à s’individualiser, et s’adapte aux goûts et aux envies de chacun. L’écosystème jusqu’à présent hexagonal est littéralement en train d’exploser pour faire face à l’internationalisation des contenus et à des acteurs audiovisuels majoritairement nord-américains. La réglementation devenue obsolète peine à trouver un nouveau cadre juridique à l’échelle française et européenne. Face à l’offre mondialisée, et les nouveaux usages de consommation notamment les usages délinéarisés (télévision de rattrapage, et Vidéo à la demande), la télévision continue néanmoins à fédérer le public autour de grands évènements d’actualité (évènements sportifs, politiques, journal télévisé du 20h…). Les profondes mutations et les changements rapides qui s’opèrent actuellement laissent planer une grande incertitude sur l’avenir de la télévision traditionnelle et faute de pouvoir s’adapter, celle-ci pourrait à plus ou moins long terme disparaitre…<br>Traditional TV, "Voice of France" is a mass medium. With a home ownership rate of over 98%, a viewing rate of l more than 3.50 hours, advertising revenue of over 4 billion euros , and “contenus Rendez-vous” bringing in record audiences, television rules over the living room, bringing the family together up into the 1980s. It is, however, controlled by the ruling political powers.Under the presidency of François Mitterrand, television was liberalized with the appearance of new private and commercial channels, financed by audiences and advertising, while the public sector continued to be funded by a license fee. In the 90s, the arrival of cable and satellite, followed by TNT in 2005, allowed the amazing increase of a number of new channels and TV services (« subscriptions to cable, satellite and finally Canal + in 1984 )But this evolution continues with the arrival of digital TV, revolutionizing the industry. It increases the number of channels exponentially, expands the production of content generated by consumers, and promotes interactivity through social networks. Technological advances are changing consumer habits with regard to the small screen, especially for young people. The computer, tablet, smartphone and the connected TV let you watch "television as I want, where I want, when I want”. Traditional TV, once considered as a mass media, is now a media that is individualized and that adapts to the tastes and desires of each viewer.The current financial system in France is literally exploding to deal with the internationalization of audiovisual content and players, with most of the content produced in North America.. Obsolete regulations can no longer keep pace with consumer demand in Europe and France. Faced with global supply and new viewing habits (delinearised viewing: replayand video on demand), television still continues to unite the public around major news events (sporting events, political events, the evening news …). The important, rapid changes now occurring in TV content and distribution lead to considerable uncertainty with regard to the future of traditional television, and unless it can adapt, it could more or less disappear in the long term

Abstract:
Esta dissertação parte de experiências de travestis que são também profissionais do sexo para focar nas relações que estabelecem com donas de casas de prostituição. Há uma atenção para o fazer antropológico, percorrendo as construções das vivências das travestis que se prostituem, perpassando marcadores sociais da diferença a saber, gênero, sexualidade, classe, raça e geração. Em um primeiro momento, surgem as diversas construções identitárias das que circulam pelo bairro Jardim Itatinga (Campinas SP), para depois percorrer a especificidade deste. Estruturado por uma variedade de casas de prostituição, sua dinâmica engendra determinadas vivências do trabalho sexual ali realizado, que permite repensar relações com as donas de casas de prostituição, especificamente das experiências de travestis em casas de prostituição. A hipótese percorrida é a de que donas e suas casas de prostituição podem ser um suporte econômico-afetivo para construções identitárias do universo trans, assim como representam um apoio seguro diante de violências policiais e de clientes que acometem suas vivências na prostituição.<br>This dissertation is based on the experiences of transvestites who are also sex workers in order to focus on the relationships they establish with madams, brothels owners. Attention is paid to the anthropological doing, covering the experiences buildings of transvestite prostitutes, passing through social markers of difference - namely, gender, sexuality, class, race and generation. In a first moment, the various identity constructions of those who circulate around Jardim Itatinga (Campinas SP) are brought to discussion, and then the specificity of this neighborhood is handled. Structured by a variety of brothels, its dynamic engenders certain experiences of the sexual work performed there, allowing the rethinking of the relations with the brothels owners, specifically the experiences of transvestites in such establishments. The hypothesis sustained is that madams and their brothels can be an economic and emotional support for the identity constructions of the trans universe, at the same time that they represent a secure support in the face of police and customers violence that affect their experiences in prostitution.

La television congolaise a t-elle forme l'homme nouveau de la societe socialiste? l'observation de l'experience de sa production et de ses programmes demontre que ce projet a echoue, pour trois raisons principales : 1 - les couches sociales dominantes demeurent attirees par le substrat culturel occidental, en diepit d'un discours officiel de resistance; 2 - l'extreme modestie de la production locale, influencee aussi bien par les pesanteurs politiques du contexte, que par les limites imposees par les ressources financieres et l'utilisation non rationnelle des competences; 3 - l'inexistence d'un modele original d'exploitation de l'instrument televisuel, susceptible de s'appuyer sur une information contradictoire et de dynamiser la creativite nationale. L'acceleration actuelle du processus democratique peut cependant favoriser un renforcement de tele-congo en tant qu'outil de developpement reel, par l'affranchissement de l'information de la tutelle politique d'etat, par la regionalisation effective des activites de production et l'utilisation conjointe les langues locales, par l'accroissement du role des "messages semantiques", la revision des modeles traditionnels de cooperation, et enfin par l'identification d'approches methodologiques nouvelles dans les rapports des differents acteurs sociaux avec les medias, 24que peuvent favoriser les recents progres techniques<br>Did the congolese television mould the new man toward the socialist society ? its experience of these last ten years in the field of production and programs proves us conclusively that the project failed, for three reasons : 1 - the dominant social stratums are yet attracted by west-european personal qualities; 2 - the local political context, the inadequate human and financial ressources, don't permit enough programs' creation; 3 - the non-existence of a specific model for that television, specially about information and creativity, sure, the present democratic process in congo can intensify the function of television for the national development. Abstract:
Qu'est-ce que la télévision ? Cette question constitue l'axe de notre réflexion. Nous essayons de lui donner réponse de trois façons différentes, chacune d'elles correspondant à une partie de ce travail : le savoir, le media, la société. La première partie s'occupe des questions épistémologiques, elle vise notamment à définir l'objet d'étude - dont l'absence jusqu'à nos jours constitue une véritable lacune dans les discours sur la télévision, y compris dans les études spécialisées. Outre la vision naturalisant qui empêche la prise de recul par rapport à l'expérience ordinaire, la définition de la télévision comme objet d'étude se heurte au déterminisme technologique et au déterminisme sociologique : le premier exagère le pouvoir des medias et prétend que la télévision est la + cause ; de certains phénomènes sociaux ; le second, en revanche, abstrait complètement le media et se concentre sur les questions idéologiques du message. La définition de l'objet met en évidence à la fois l'aspect technique et l'aspect social de la télévision. A partir de là, deux développements parallèles se présentent : l'analyse de la dimension virtuelle ouverte par l'expérience médiatique et l'investigation des conditions qui ont permis l'expansion de cette expérience comme pratique sociale. Ces développements correspondent à la deuxième et a la troisième partie du travail, ou nous abordons la spécificité des medias dans l'univers de la technique, la signification de la télévision dans l'ensemble de l'évolution des medias, ainsi que la télévision comme formation de compromis entre le travail et le loisir. Ces deux démarches développent, chacune a sa façon, la thèse que la télévision est une simulation de la conscience. Cette formulation commune est due justement à notre préoccupation de ne pas perdre de vue l'unité de l'objet, en laissant un écart infranchissable entre ces deux registres de la télévision. Bref, il s'agit là de ce que l'on pourrait fixer comme l'objectif du présent travail : montrer la correspondance entre l'expression technique de la télévision et l'organisation sociale sous-jacente a la pratique de la télespectation.

For this, the emphasis is given to pictures and self portraits, present in albums of their profiles on the site. We are interested in understanding what is the image they construct of themselves from physical reconstructions, aesthetic formulations, costumes, scenery, performances and a whole network of symbolic meaning which is important for them. Orkut, like many other social environments of the internet, comprehends speeches and narratives of individuals and social groups that describe, identify and represent themselves of the most varied ways and with the most diverse goals and interests. In order to understand how the self representations of transvestites are built on orkut, it was investigated initially some communities with trans thematic, then it was selected the profiles of two transvestites, with whom interviews were also conducted. Although this study focuses on the self representations in the orkut, other environments in cyberspace have been researched, as blogs and sites for transvestites. We conclude that there are multiple ways to represent transvestitely, not just the stereotypical, stigmatized and marginalized representations widespread by the media<br>Esse estudo investiga as autorrepresentações de travestis no orkut e os elementos constitutivos de suas (ciber)identidades, tendo como foco e eixo determinante a sua visualidade. Para isso, a ênfase é dada aos retratos e autorretratos, presentes nos álbuns de seus perfis no site. Interessa-nos entender qual é a imagem que constroem de si a partir de reconstruções corporais, de formulações estéticas, vestimentas, cenários, performances e de toda uma rede de significação simbólica que para elas importa. O orkut, assim como tantos outros ambientes de sociabilidade na internet, comporta discursos e narrativas de indivíduos e grupos sociais que se descrevem, se identificam e se autorrepresentam das mais variadas maneiras e com os mais diversos objetivos e interesses. Para compreender como se constituem as autorrepresentações de travestis no orkut, investigou-se inicialmente algumas comunidades com temática trans, selecionando-se em seguida os perfis de duas travestis, com as quais foram realizadas também entrevistas. Embora esse estudo focalize as autorrepresentações presentes no orkut, outros ambientes no ciberespaço foram pesquisados, como blogs e sites de travestis, para estabelecer um diálogo mais abrangente. Assim, o que se pode perceber é que há uma pluralidade de existências e representações possíveis das travestilidades, diferentemente do que as representações estereotípicas, estigmatizantes e marginalizantes, provenientes de distintas instituições sociais, sobretudo das mídias, podem fazer crer
