The molluscs of the Travný Natural reserve were studied during 2007. Altogether, 35 species (33 land and 2 freshwater snails) were recorded. The eastern part of the reserve was found to be the most preserved and favorable for molluscs. Two species are very interesting from ecological and faunal point of view: Vitrea transsylvanica and Eucobresia nivalis, which are ranked as endangered in the Red List of the Czech molluscs.
