Abstract:
This paper presents the Enhanced Bluetree, a mesh topology scheme for Bluetooth scatternet formation. The scatternet formation algorithm includes two phases. In the first phase, a designated node called the root starts to create a tree-shaped topology and in the second phase the tree-shaped topology is converted into a mesh-shaped topology. In addition, a return connection mechanism is introduced in this phase to generate more connection paths among the nodes. The mechanism contains two scatternet topology models including the slave/slave mesh (SSM) model and the master/slave mesh (MSM) model.

Inspired by the seminal result that a graph and an associated rotation system uniquely determine the topology of a closed manifold, we propose a combinatorial method for reconstruction of surfaces from points. Our method constructs a spanning tree and a rotation system. Since the tree is trivially a planar graph, its rotation system determines a genus zero surface with a single face which we proceed to incrementally refine by inserting edges to split faces. In order to raise the genus, special handles are added in a later stage by inserting edges between different faces and thus merging them.

Abstract— Solar panels require performance monitoring when energy shortages occur in the area. Monitoring solar panels requires a detection device to detect solar panels, including the ACS712 current sensor for monitoring the output current of the solar panel, a DC voltage sensor for monitoring battery performance, and a DHT11 temperature sensor for monitoring the temperature of the solar panel storage battery. The WSN technology that can work is ZigBee communication. This ZigBee communication research uses various topology methods, including star, tree, and mesh topologies. Solar panel monito

The mesh network is an important topology for on-chip networks since it provides great flexibility for the on-chip interconnection with diverse application requirements. We have proposed the tree-based routing architecture for on-chip networks called TRAIN, which achieves deadlock freedom and high-performance communication for on-chip networks. With TRAIN, a packet arriving in a switch can be adaptively routed to utilize a shortcut to reduce the distance to the destination switch efficiently. In this paper, we propose two arbitration schemes in a TRAIN switch and their arbiter designs: the seq

With the widespread use of Deep Neural Networks (DNNs), machine learning algorithms have evolved in two diverse directions—one with ever-increasing connection density for better accuracy and the other with more compact sizing for energy efficiency. The increase in connection density increases on-chip data movement, which makes efficient on-chip communication a critical function of the DNN accelerator. The contribution of this work is threefold. First, we illustrate that the point-to-point (P2P)-based interconnect is incapable of handling a high volume of on-chip data movement for DNNs. Second,
