This study used a novel approach to visually and statistically model the sounds produced within an ecosystem across space and time to identify hot spots and hot moments of biodiversity activity. Severe reduction in precipitation over the last three decades has resulted in forest and woodland decline and mortality across the southwest of Western Australia (SWWA).
