Abstract:
Subject of this thesis is analysis of friction power losses in rolling bearings and design and implementation of computing program. Thesis is divided into six chapters. At the beginning there is overview of different types of rolling bearings and their system of lubrication. Fundamentals of elastohydrodynamic lubrication are described together with effects that occur in lubricant. Remaining part is focused on friction in rolling bearing its sources and calculation. Other programs for computing friction losses are shown and own program is designed. Designed program is applied on bearings of chosen type and results are compared with existing models.

This thesis is dealing with a detailed analysis of electromechanical brake used in emergency situations to stop the electric motor. Environmental influences, bad material proposal or bad design parameters can significantly limit the behaviour of a brake. The thesis presents several approaches to avoid these limitations, to limit the reaction time and achieve better results. The attached programs can be used either for innovation, or for the new brake design based on the entry requirements.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with current trends in insurance. The aim of the thesis is to find and analyse the development trends, which has affected the insurance market the most in the last years. The first part is defined by the evolution of Czech insurance market in terms of premiums written. The next two chapters are devoted to trends in non-life and life insurance and trends in motor vehicle insurance. For non-life insurance, the development of catastrophic events, and as a result of the increasing importance of alternative instruments of risk. The chapter on trends in life insurance is about one-off and regular insurance policies, as well as the decision of the Court of Justice of the EU ban on sex discrimination in the calculation of insurance premiums and administration including creation of insurance for women only. The last chapter deals with the new Solvency II regulatory concept. Explaining his goals, three pillars, as well as the Lamfalussy legislative process, according to which it is created. In conclusion, there are also evaluated its effects.

Dans la France métropolitaine des années 1944-1981, cette étude explore les représentations du bonheur - les différentes idées circulant sur la vie heureuse - étudiées à partir de documents imprimés et de films à succès, et les expériences - les sentiments éprouvés analysées quantitativement par des enquêtes d'opinion, et qualitativement par des journaux intimes. L'intervalle chronologique permet de remettre en cause la période «Trente glorieuses », forgée par l'économiste Fourastié portant un regard nostalgique sur les années 1945-75 et trop vite importée par les historiens. Peu légitime au sortir de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, le bonheur devient la norme princeps, en France comme dans le monde occidental. Les techniques du bonheur se développent : les sciences sociales s'emparent de l'objet ; l'idéal de l'épanouissement succède à la réussite ; la société de consommation constitue la voie la plus attractive, mais le marché du bonheur, segmenté, laisse place à des chemins alternatifs (vie en communauté, etc. . . ). Les récits et les romans personnels des Français incorporent ces transformations : les composants du bonheur restent stables, mais les niveaux de bonheur, appréhendés au travers de déclarations individuelles, évoluent. Se détachent ainsi les années 1962-1975 -les treize heureuses -, au cours desquelles les sentiments positifs ont connu une extension maximum : la paix, la croissance économique perçue, les libérations consécutives à mai 1968 confèrent une unité à cette période.

Abstract:
This research work examines trends that affect information technology in the Czech retail banking. The main objective is the evaluation of IT trends adoption in retail banking. To achieve this goal, interviews with IT professionals in the Czech retail banks and IT consultants in the field of banking were taken. Specific objectives were identification and consolidation of IT trends in the banking sector through the analysis of relevant sources identified in the research. Consolidation is using the methodology mentioned in book Trend Management Toolkit by author Kjear. Analysis of IT trends in banking aimed to describe the identified trends and their position on the Hype Cycle curve. First part of work consist of introduction, goals, assumptions, limitations and expected benefits, specifying the current state by conducting research. The theoretical part describes the key bank characteristics and trends influencing retail bank sector. Based on an analysis of selected reports work identifies key IT trends in banking and their consolidation. The practical part discuss the results of in-depth interviews conducted with people with long lasting experience in IT in banks. Usefulness of the results can be seen in the identification of current IT trends in banking and the creation of an analytical procedure for finding the most significant trends of all currently mentioned. Furthermore, in evaluating the state of IT adoption trends, which is currently expected by retail banks and considering possible further steps in this area. Leading to decisions about future investments or to strategy review.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with some interesting trends and legal provisions and their impact, which in the Czech Republic has recently occurred. The first part concerns the insurance market. Attention is paid to the development and changes in pricing policy of liability insurance and sustainability of the whole system. It additionally influence and activities of the Czech Insurers' Bureau and laws relating to it. The second part is devoted to vehicles debt financing. Here is the main point the so-called "discount on credit". Another trend in the financing vehicles is its loss and the decline of companies that specialize in these products. To debt financing is also applied several statutory changes that do not always work as intended. Error legislators or way as a endless struggle, with those who circumvent it? All work is handled from the perspective of the car dealer that provides insurance and loan products as his additional service.

The theoretical part of this thesis describes marketing in the field of culture, particularly dance, and it defines today's Internet world. It focuses on the tools and the most important aspects of current marketing practices. It also defines the dance 'twerk' examining its history, present and also the reasons why it became an international sensation. The practical part is then devoted to a detailed analysis of three subjects - dancer Aneta Antošová, STAGE Prague dance studio and Ballet of the National Theatre Brno. By a comparison of quantitative data of the 'before and after twerk marketing' period the thesis is trying to evaluate the applicability and success of this marketing decision. Qualitative expert interviews with big names of Czech dance and marketing fields are accompanying the analysis.

Problemformulering: Vi lever i ett samhälle som präglas av digitalisering och som i ochmed det är i ständig utveckling. Trender kommer och går påmarknaden vilket innebär många förändringar som företag måsteta i beaktning. Ett företag som stannar upp i sin utveckling ersättssnabbt av ett nytt företag och riskerar att försvinna frånmarknaden. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att klargöra användandet avmarknadsstrategier för anpassning till olika trender inom modeochlivsstilsbranschen. Som grund för detta avser vi att analyserabetydelsen av olika trender och tredje vågen samt kopplingendäremellan. Metod: Uppsatsen bygger på en induktiv ansats där vi använt oss av enkvalitativmetod vilket innebär att vi använt oss av en ostruktureradintervjuguide när vi intervjuat sex utvalda respondenter. Referensram: Uppsatsen betonar den tredje vågen, trender samtmarknadsstrategier, detta är de områdena som vi finner intressantaoch relevanta att undersöka för att få ett så givande resultat sommöjligt i vår forskningsfråga. Slutsats: Vi tycker oss ha kunnat urskilja att svenska mode- ochlivsstilsföretag inte gör några större åtgärder för att förutspå nyamarknadstrender. Sverige är en homogen marknad vilket innebäratt det är svårt för företag att vara trendskapare eftersom enhomogen marknad oftast väntar med att ta efter en trend tills denär erkänd. Många företag jobbar därför med att fokusera på attefterlika de företag som sätter trenderna.

I den här uppsatsen tillhandahåller vi resultatet av en deduktiv och kvalitativ fallsstudie om företagsinterna processer för framgångsrikt varumärkesarbete med fokus på hur identifiera, prioritera, applicera och omsätta effekterna av omvärldstrender till en framgångsrik och lönsam premiumstrategi; genom att beskriva och analysera detta arbete i två premiumföretag (Haglöfs och BMW). Studien avser att göra ett bidrag till teorin om effektivt varumärkesarbete med fokus på premiumstrategi, nämligen premiumstrategins sammanbindande länkar med hänsyn tagen till dess kontextuella förutsättningar   Den teoretiska referensramen utgörs av huvudbegreppen: trender, premiumvarumärken, varumärkesutvidgning samt marknadsposition. För studien valdes två empiriska undersökningsobjekt och relevant information beträffande dessa samlades in via två metoder; dels via en kvalitativ semistrukturerad-intervju samt via dokumentanalys. Detta för att undersöka hur premiumföretag arbetar utefter den struktur och teoretiska modell/bidrag som identifierats i samband med fastställandet av syntesen. Utifrån teorin identifierade vi ett antal förutsättningar samt länkar kopplade till en premiumstrategi. Dessa förutsättningar samt länkar verifierades senare via en analytisk induktion. Återkommande sekvenser i insamlad empiri söktes och förklarades genom att vi undersökte företagens branschspecifika förutsättningar men även hur de arbetade med att utveckla en premiumstrategi. Strukturen och länkarna för att utveckla en premiumstrategi var följande: att identifiera, prioritera samt applicera trender àatt identifiera och utarbeta värdeskapande attributà att därefter anpassa och utveckla premiumvarumärketà och att senare etablera en premiumkanal med syfte att tillgängliggöra varumärket till den bredare massan. Länkarna utgjorde viktiga förutsättningar associerade med en önskad effekt om en marknadsposition i form av premiumledarskap.
In this paper, we provide results of a deductive and qualitative case study on a company's internal processes for successful branding efforts with a focus on how to identify, prioritize, apply and translate the impact of external trends into a successful and profitable premium strategy by describing and analyzing this work in two premium companies (Haglöfs and BMW).   The theoretical framework consists of the main concepts: trends, premium brands, brand extensions and market position. For the study, two empirical survey items were elected and relevant information concerning these were collected via two methods; partly through a qualitative semi-structured interview, and through document analysis. This is to investigate how premium business works along the structure and theoretical model/contribution identified in connection with the determination of the synthesis. Based on theory, we identified a number of conditions, and links related to a premium strategy. These conditions, as well as links, were later verified through an analytical induction. Recurrent sequences in the collected empirical data were declared by investigating companies industry-specific conditions but also how they were developing a premium strategy. The structure and links in order to develop a premium strategy were: to identify, prioritize and apply trends à to identify and develop value-adding attributes à then to adapt and develop the premium brand à and later to establish a premium channel with the purpose of making the brand available to a wider mass. These links were important conditions associated with a desired effect on a market position in the form of premium leadership.

Abstract:
The study examines five different development areas in Stockholm, factors that influenced the development and similarities between them. The term "Trendline 5S" is coined and includes Stockholm City, Stockholm Odenplan, Stockholm, Sollentuna and Sigtuna. The results indicate many similarities between the areas and the most crucial elements are the short distance to the airport, transport links and major construction projects. Other factors, which were not as measurable as the previous ones but yet important, were the popularity of the area, desire to settle down, access to services such as supermarket, shopping, culture, etc. and also the "hustle and bustle". Previous research has highlighted the importance of sustainable development and concepts such as "The Creative Class" and "Smart City" are efforts to accelerate the process through creative thinking and new information technology. The phenomenon of the so-called trendline could possibly be found in studies of other areas in the world and thus provide a decision support system for many stakeholders in the property market.
Den här studien undersöker fem olika utvecklingsområden i Stockholm, faktorer som påverkat utvecklingen och samband mellan dem. Begreppet "Trendlinjen 5S" myntas och innefattar Stockholm City, Stockholm Odenplan, Solna, Sollentuna och Sigtuna. Resultatet pekar på många likheter områdena emellan och de mest centrala faktorerna är närheten till flygplats, kommunikationsförbindelser och större nybyggnadsprojekt. Andra faktorer som inte varit lika mätbara, men dock minst lika viktiga, har varit attraktiviteten av området, viljan att bostätta sig där, närhet och tillgänglighet till service såsom mataffär, shopping, kultur o.s.v. och även "liv och rörelse". Tidigare forskning har belyst vikten av en hållbar utveckling och koncept såsom "The Creative Class" och "Smart City" är satsningar för att påskynda den processen genom kreativt tänkande och ny informationsteknologi. Fenomenet med den så kallade trendlinjen skulle möjligen kunna påträffas vid studier av andra områden i världen och därmed också kunna fungera som beslutstödsystem för flera intressenter på fastighetsmarknaden.

Master Thesis in her theoretical part contains a brief indication of the development of marketing, completed by factors which influenced the current marketing the most. Subsequently, the work offers a comprehensive overview of modern trends, together with the positives, but barriers as well. The practical part is devoted to an analysis of one of the trends, guerilla marketing. This analysis is based on a comparison of three Czech guerilla campaigns in order to evaluate their effectiveness, in order to find out why guerilla campaign in the Czech Republic are not used very often, as in other countries and consumers attitude to these non-traditional campaigns. The analysis consists of qualitative research in the form of focus group, in the form of a quantitative questionnaire and supplemented by interviews with professionals. In conclusion there is a summary of results based on different methods.

The advantage and positive of the network is possibility of sharp aiming at a certain group of interest. Taxes of small and medium firms make a significant part of state incomes. This thesis focuses on the issue of ICT innovation in small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic. The first objective is an analysis of ICT innovations; the second one is a suggestion of criterions suitable for the mapping of ICT performance and the third objective is verification of these suggested criterions in the real enterprise which is DATASYS. Sub-steps that lead to fulfillment of specified main objectives are to clarify characteristic of ICT and related concepts, as well as explanation of BSC management tool and determination its advantages and disadvantages. The last steps in this section are an identification of key trends, the exploration of new ICT technologies and the mapping of the ICT current state in DATASYS. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first theoretical part illustrates the importance of ICT innovation followed by ICT definition and other related concepts. The third part is devoted to BSC management tool which measures the ICT performance. The last part is a survey of current ICT trends and new ICT technologies. The purpose of the theoretical part is the knowledge of related theory which is reflected in the practical part. The second part is practical and it focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge. First sub-part describes default state of the technology infrastructure in DATASYS. The purpose of the second sub-part is to create BSC concept. Previous theoretical part and default current state are reflected in this BSC concept. The third sub-part is focused on the mapping the ICT performance to identify weaknesses in the company by comparing suggested and real values. The theoretical part of this work is created from all the information and knowledge gainded from scientific literature and research articles. This Master thesis focuses on trends in utilization of castles and chateaus accessible to public within tourism and further applies the acquired knowledge to the Hrádek u Nechanic chateau. In order to reach the objective, a combination of primary and secondary research has been employed. The first part of the thesis (chapters 1--3) deals with general trends in tourism, cultural tourism, utilization of castles and chateaus in general and, in particular, it identifies the main qualitative and quantitative trends based on interviewing professionals in the field. The second part (chapters 3--6) pays attention to the Hrádek u Nechanic chateau, its marketing mix, an evaluation and comparison of surveys (which took place here in 2004, 2009, 2010 and 2011) and features recommendations for the further presentation and development of the chateau. Currently, it faces -- among other challenges -- a decrease in attendance, decrease in the growth dynamics of sales, increased competition of other attractiveness, questioning the traditional cultural-educative role of monuments or demands for applying customer oriented marketing. The answer to the development is innovation of the existing products and introduction of new ones, improvement of supplementary service and broader involvement in life of the region.

Det är inte bara marknaden som ställer högre krav på företagen och deras tjänster.  Konsumenter är snabba med att uppfatta de nya trenderna och teknologier, och ser det som en självklarhet att företag ska omfamna dessa och implementera dem i tjänsterna. Marknadens nya standarder leder till högre krav och förväntningar hos konsumenterna. I och med det förväntas tjänsten att bli än smidigare och smartare att använda. Så för att hålla företagets kundbas nöjd och möta deras krav, måste man även arbeta med tjänstens användbarhet. För att kunna implementera trender rätt i tjänsten och ha en chans att konkurrera på marknaden, är användbarhet inte bara ett måste utan även ett kraftfullt medel. Med god användbarhet följer en bra kundupplevelse. Vilket innebär att kunderna lämnar tjänsten med ett gott intryck och därmed är chansen större att de återkommer. Grunden för en bra tjänst med nöjda kunder är hög användbarhet i kombination med aktuella trender. Denna rapport är ett examensarbete bestående av en förstudie om hur man utvecklar en webbshop för optik med fokus på användbarhet och aktuella trender. Arbetets resultat är generella riktlinjer inför utvecklingsprocessen av webbshoppen.

As a result, new trends emerge and form the market once again. Followed by new trends are new possibilities and measures, which lead to higher demands and expectations from the consumers. To manage an e-business successfully it is a prerequisite to stay updated with the current e-commerce trends to be able to keep up with the competitors. To be able to embrace trends and keep up with the competition, a great mean is usability. It is vital to any kind of service to have a good usability, and to maintain it regularly, for it’s chances of survival in the harsh competition. For returning consumers it is important to listen to their expectations, and see to it that the service meet their needs with user-friendly functions. Since the experience of the service is what stays with them. Usability is the backbone of the service, ensuring the user journey to be as smooth as possible, and enhance both the service itself and the consumers’ experience. So it is not sufficient enough to only implement current trends into the service. Without good usability to complement with – neither the trends nor the service will reach their full potential. This paper is a pre-study and a result of a degree project, and covers general guidelines for the development of a web shop for optics. The guidelines are based on research on usability and current e-commerce trends. To produce these guidelines, methods such as Brand Experience Workshop, Creative Session and interviews with the target group have been executed.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the trends related to the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with emphasis on the CRM software. Essential trends were identified through professional analytical reports and dedicated servers. CRM trends were analysed from the time and factual perspective. The core purpose of this thesis was to evaluate possible business value of identified trends for businesses from a selected market segment. To fulfil this goal, the banking segment was chosen to be further analysed. The author of this thesis studied the extent of implementation of chosen trends in a real CRM implementation project executed in a bank operating on the market of Czech Republic. In the process, the set of interviews with "CRM in banking sector" professionals were completed to figure out how they are possibly appreciated by the whole banking sector. Through the responses of the chosen professionals, some trends characteristics were mainly followed. These were trend maturity (captured by slightly modified Gartner Hype Cycle) and trend business value (captured by defined numeral evaluation). An average evaluation of business value of each trend, done from various time perspectives, was displayed by two different tables, each grouping trends on the factual basis. Finally, trends business values were represented graphically to accent their possible progress as seen from the banking sector point of view and to provide users with a simple tool to confront their view with the view of the professionals. The tool mentioned allows users to focus on the trends that are likely to be very beneficial (according to the general opinion of the chosen professionals) and at the same time allows users to stay clear of the trends that don't promise much value for the banking sector, not even in the future.

This thesis describes new trends in the automotive industry. It investigates how these trends altered the automotive market and industry and what are the reasons of it. The thesis then ascertains an impact on the new cars business, in which stress is put on new technologies and automotive market development in the world, with emphasis on the Czech Republic within the crisis period. The thesis follows 2 trend groups, namely the trends that already appear for a longer time as well as the quite new trends influencing substantially the automotive market. The first named group deals with the technological innovations as well as for example with the problem concerning car factories model families expanding with the aim to maximize volume of sale; problems of the car new models safety and performance is another topic of this thesis. As another important topic of this group diesel drive phenomenon problems in the European Union can be taken into account as well as additional burden of taxation for cars with higher fuel consumption connected with it. A significant part of the second group comprises financial crisis development and impact on the new cars sale in a given period. In addition to it, it describes quite new trends, e.g. engine capacity decreasing with the use of supercharged engines (downsizing), coming wave of SUV cars and a phenomenon of four-wheel drive cars. In the final part of this diploma paper problems are analyzed and finally hybrid cars development as well.

The dissertation has focused its attention on rail freight transport in the EU where it tried to identify trends that have accompanied that transport in the last decades. The identified trends are: intermodality, interoperability, creation of railway corridors and harmonization of legal norms for transport of goods. Each trend has been judged from the perspective of the so-called "common transport policy". The complexity of the analyzed environment as well as the interest in the depiction of the situation in the Czech Republic have led to the setting of three goals and three scientific questions. The result of the author's scientific investigation is a completely original work that should contribute to better understanding of changes of structural-systemic nature that happen in the rail cargo transport in the territory of the EU. Such a work is also an evaluating mirror for the reform of the railway sector undertaken by the same institution.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with trends of drug consumption for the ATC group C10A (HMG-CoA reductase) in the Czech Republic in the years 2005 - 2015. The goal of this work is to analyse the consumption of statins (cholesterol lowering drugs), as well as to analyse the consumption trends (expressed in terms of prescribed daily doses) and subsequently explain the causes of the detected trends. The main method used in this work is the analysis and interpretation of data provided by the State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL). Individual consumption data sets are compared to each other and global trends are inferred based on the obtained results. In the practical part I analyse the consumption for the individual ATC groups according to their increasing lipid-lowering efficacy, according to the pharmaceutical companies involved and according to the experts' recommendations (within the framework of cardiovascular disease treatment). The conclusion of my work shows that the overall drug consumption for the the studied ATC group (given by the DDD/package total) was steadily increasing during the studied period while the consumption expressed in financial units was decreasing (ie. the financial burden on the health system was reduced). The total number of sold packages shows a slight decrease due to the sale of bigger packages with more powerful statins during the studied period.
