Abstract:
Currently, electric vehicles are a rapidly growing alternative to those with combustion engines and can contribute to reduction of CO2 emissions in the transport sector, especially when the energy to power electric motors is predominantly derived from renewable sources. Until now, the comparison of environmental impact and influence of electric transport means on the power systems was not fully addressed in the case of Poland. The purpose of the study is to describe, analyse and assess electric vehicles (EV) operation against performance indicators in Poland, especially the influence of electr

In this research project the co-authors bring up a most serious problem, that is, biosphere compatibility of urban space planning; this problem is to be solved though development of an urban environment which is barrier free for any urban transport; the solution also contemplates the availability of urban transport routes free from any traffic jams. The coauthors consider different techniques that serve to develop comfortable transport links. A comfortable transportation network boosts the sustainability of any urban economy. Abstract:
Currently, the design of bus stops is an urgent task of both public network design and urban planning. In recent decades, the main passenger volumes in cities of the Russian Federation are served by bus routes. There is a very high public transport traffic volume on the streets of cities without metro, which can exceed 100 buses/hour. In these cases, there are significant volumes of arrivals at bus stops, which cause queues of buses, additional delays and a decrease in commercial speed. In this regard, a study of the bus stops performance was done in different cities of the Russian Federation.

The object of the study is a medium-sized bus. The required traction characteristics of the electric motor are constructed, the nominal and limiting characteristics of the increased torque. The dynamic characteristics have been built for a bus with a mechanical transmission and a diesel engine, as well as for a bus with an electric motor. M.Com.<br>The problems and difficulties associated with moving about in the cities of the world are apparent to all urban dwellers. Congestion, delay, noise and accidents feature daily in their lives. Urban growth has increased the demand for services, among which passenger transport forms a major part. This increase in demand is a dynamic, ongoing process and it can be expected that transport will continue to pose severe problems, in spite of academic research, investigations and commissions of inquiry...

Abstract – Diesel engines buses are still the most used buses. Electric buses provide promising green alternatives and a lot of advantages, but the main disadvantage is their limited travel range and charging time. This article is a presentation of innovative solutions for charging of electric busses - Dynamic Charging. The modern IMC system in Solingen was presented. At the end of the article, a proposal was made to introduce a similar solution in Skopje, which would allow the operation of 9 bus lines with electric vehicles. Urban areas are of increasing relevance when it comes to sustainability. • First, about half of the world’s population now lives in cities (increasing to 60% by 2030). • Second, cities are nowadays responsible for levels of resource consumption and waste generation that are higher beyond their share on world population. • Third, cities are more vulnerable to disruptive events that can lead to restrictions on the provision of resources and to changes on the environment caused by climate change. • And fourth, because they concentrate key resources (political, social, cultural…), cities are seen
