Abstract:

Three fossil genera, Krundia Szwedo, 2019, Breukoscelis Szwedo, 2019, and Uphodato Szwedo, 2019, described in the family Issidae are transferred to other families according to the shape and venation of forewings. Krundia Szwedo is transferred to the family Tropiduchidae. Breukoscelis Szwedo is placed in synonymy under Uphodato Szwedo and transferred to the family Cixiidae. Forewing venation of the members of Issidae, Tropiduchidae, and Cixiidae are discussed and illustrated.

Eilithyia singaporensis sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea: Tropiduchidae) is described and illustrated from Singapore and Malaya. This represents the second known species of Eilithyia. A new species of Sogana Matsumura, 1914, S. floreni n. sp., is described from Borneo, Sabah (Malaysia). The species is compared with S. robustocarina Liang & Wang, 2008 and S. stimulata Melichar, 1914, and an addendum to the key to the species of Sogana by Liang & Wang (2008) is given to place the new species. Male genitalia and habitus are illustrated, biological data are provided. A distribution map is given for the 3 species of Sogana known from the Greater Sunda.

Zema montana sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea: Tropiduchidae) is described and illustrated from Yunnan, southwestern China. This represents the second known species of Zema. The type species, Z. gressitti Fennah, unrecorded since its 1956 description, is redescribed and illustrated and a revised generic description provided. New distributional records for Z. gressitti are given for Nepal and China (Yunnan, Xizang).

Abstract. The second genus and species of recently established planthopper family Inoderbidae, Ingensala xiai gen. et sp. nov., is described based on a well-preserved specimen from mid-Cretaceous Kachin (Burmese) amber, and it can be definitely attributed to Inoderbidae mainly based on its head structure, pronotum, and mesonotum without median and lateral carinae and tegmen venation. The genus Scolopsomorpha Melichar, 1912 is moved from the Dictyopharidae to the Tropiduchidae and 2 new species are added to the genus: S. debakkeri (Congo) and S. boulardi (Central African Republic). The genus is provisionally placed in the subtribe Eutropistina Fennah, 1982 of the Eutropistini Kirkaldy, 1906. A lectotype is designated for Scolopsomorpha africana Melichar, 1912.
