Spot welding of 1.4307 material of 1+1 mm thickness is tuned out excellently by the enterprise ROSTEX – at the changes only of the welding current it was managed to approach the value of thickness achieved by enterprise ROSTEX. At the welding of 1.4307 material of 2+2 mm thickness it was managed to achieve more strength under welding parameters: Fs = 5500N, Is = 8,964 kA, ts = 10 Per. Spot welding of 1.0330 material revealed a possibility in proceeding with welding current increasing which could stand for the weld strength increasing (not necessarily) – a limit where material could splash was not achieved. The soft mode welding is not convenient for up-to date spot welding because the material is extremely affected by heat at the long welding time, it also leads to huge thermal losses, thermal effect and distortion of electrodes (electrodes life diminishing). Soft mode welding is not expedient even economically. In accordance with economic comparison, see chart 27, page 64 – for instance welding of 1.4307 material with 1+1 mm thickness at 1000 welds there is difference of 644 Czech crowns between the hard and the soft mode welding in benefit to the hard mode.

Práce je zaměřena na výzkum a vývoj technologie přípravy tvrdých anodických vrstev na třech různých typech neželezných materiálů a to (i) hliníkové slitině (AA1050), (ii) čistém hořčíku (99.9% Mg) a (iii) zinkové slitině (ZnTi2). Vhodnou kombinací anodizačních podmínek (napětí, proudová hustota, teplota a složení elektrolytu atd.) lze vytvářet anodické vrstvy s rozdílnými vlastnostmi. V rámci předložené práce byl prokázán vliv předúpravy a anodizačních podmínek na vzhled, morfologii, tloušťku a tvrdost vytvořených anodických vrstev. Pro zvýšení tribologických vlastností a tvrdosti byly anodické vrstvy přímo dopovány Al2O3 částicemi nebo kombinací Al2O3 a PTFE částic během anodizačního procesu. Teoretická část práce popisuje základní principy anodizace, metody používané v průmyslové praxi a v práci je také popsán technologický proces. Experimentální část je rozdělena na tři základní části. První část se věnuje anodické oxidaci hliníkové slitiny AA1050. Druhá část je zaměřena na anodizaci čistého hořčíku a poslední část je zaměřena na anodizaci zinkové slitiny ZnTi2, která není tak známá jako anodizace hliníku.

The diploma thesis is focused on mechanically separated chicken meat (MSM), which was produced on the machine Baader 601 (soft way of separation) and Lima D (hard way of separation). The history, production, composition and legislation relating to the MSM have been described in the theoretical part. The experiments involving the results of the determination of total solids, total fat, total protein, muscle protein and collagen have been introduced in the experimental part. Bone fragments have been determined by weight and visually after alkaline hydrolysis of samples at elevated, respectively atmospheric pressure. Results have been evaluated with regard to the feedstock and the method of mechanical separation. Values have been compared with data published in the scientific literature and legislative requirements. Data from the experiment confirm high variability and thus different food quality of MSMs, depending on the sort of feedstock used in the production of MSM and the separation method.

There are several suppliers of these waxes in the World and in this work waxes of the most reputable suppliers from Europe have been investigated. During these tests there were mainly technological properties of the waxes and also dimensions of both wax patterns and also the final castings measu-red. Suitability of the tested waxes, their technological characteristics, analysis of di-mensions and finally basic economical calculations have been then used in this the-sis as a tool for the recommendation for the most suitable wax for the Fimes foundry.

The work considers pulse wire-guided electromagnetic (EM) waves. The main contribution of the work is the original design of the isolation bushing for maximizing of the received wave (echo) thanks to the results of the numerical simulations, the acquirement of the new acknowledges of the reflections of the guided EM wave from the various boundaries, the construction of PML layers for FDTD simulations in rotational coordinates, the advances made in temporary excitation sources for FDTD and the formulation of the program code for FDTD in rotational coordinates in Matlab environment. The rightness of the numerical simulations was verified in practical experiments. The practical exploitation of the results is supposed in instrumentation and control technology - the level measurement in reservoirs.

The purpose of this diploma thesis is the analysis of macroeconomic development of China in 1990 - 2014 in four key economic areas: economic performance, financial sector, labor market and internal and external equilibrium. The main hypothesis is that China is not threatened by a hard-landing in the next few years. The theoretical part explains the basic terms and defines the research framework. In the empirical part is conducted the analysis of the selected indicators in that framework, consisting of internal and external equilibrium, labor market and demographic trends, financial sector, fiscal and monetary policies and additional growth factors. The result of the empirical part is the construction of a SWOT matrix. At the end there are proposed the recommendations for setting the future economic policy in China.

The thesis deals with study of high-temperature alloying process of power semiconductor devices. Mechanical durability and loss heat extraction is achieved via contacting silicon devices on molybdenum electrode in vacuum alloying furnace. Properties of alloy contact determine electrical, geometrical and mechanical parameters of device and are related with durability of device under heavy load during operation in various industrial machines or transport vehicles. Process parameters are evaluated in terms of input materials and their preparation along with temperature ramp profile and conditions in vacuum furnace. Test samples are analyzed to assess their electrical and geometrical parameters and selected samples underwent element analysis of alloy contact. Optimal process parameters are estimated according to analysis of experiments.

The aim of the thesis is to identify basic characteristics related to position of the outermost regions of the member states of the EU within EU development policies. These regions are evaluated from the point of view including allocated funding within Structural Funds (SF) and European Structural and Investments Funds during the programming periods of 2000-2006, 2007-2013, and 2014-2020, content of the operational programmes, and basic economic indicators. The outermost regions shows lower values of GDP per capita than European regions of the same country while showing higher allocated funding per capita than the European regions of the same country. The outermost regions also shows constantly growing GDP per capita at least from 2000 while the SF and ESIF allocated funding for the regions decreases. These findings are predictable. Interesting finding is that while the regional GDP of the outermost regions increases investments efforts do not shift towards soft projects. The investments efforts show steadily hard project implementation activities and increasing ratio of environmental projects, which are mostly hard projects. This finding creates space for improving concept of more developed regions focusing of soft projects and less developed regions focusing on hard projects.

The thesis deals with the processes that occur in the course of the manufacturing of rigid polyurethane-polyisocyanurate (PU-PIR) foams, their properties and technology. It deals above all with principles of foam nucleation and stability. The purpose of understanding these principles is their possible use for improving thermo-insulating properties of the material. The experimental part of the thesis studies the influence of additives and ultrasound on the PU-PIR foam properties. It has been found that low molecular weight compounds with perfluorinated chain leads to decreasing foam cell size and its lower thermal conductivity. The additives mentioned act probably on the surfactants principle by facilitating nucleation and stabilizing growing centres of bubbles. They probably form also part of blowing agents mixture inside the foam cells which cause lowering of thermal conductivity as well. Compounds with similar chemical structure have unique influence on the properties of rigid PU-PIR foams. Further research ought to be focused on cheaper modes of producing perfluorinated compounds.

Diploma thesis was focused on identification of lactic acid bacteria of species Lactococcus lactis and subspecies Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis and Lactococcus lactis ssp. cremoris using species and subspecies specific polymerace chain reaction (PCR). PCR method was used for identification of bacteria of species Lactococcus lactis in 10 samples of hard cheeses. The method of sample preparation was evaluated for hard cheeses with the aim to receive sufficient amount of cells for the preparation of crude cell lysates. Whole DNA in quality suitable for PCR was separated using magnetic microspheres P(HEMA-co-GMA) in the presence of polyethylenglycol (PEG 6000) and sodium chloride. DNA isolated by phenol extraction was used as control of DNA isolation. PCR was used to the analysis of 7 strains of Lactococcus lactis from Collection of dairy microorganisms Laktofora (CCDM). Altogether 5 or 2 strains were identified into subspecies Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis and Lactococcus lactis ssp. cremoris, respectively.

This thesis focuses on image processing using wavelet transform. The usage of wavelet transform is analysed especially for image compression and image noise reduction purposes. The analysis describes in detail aspects and application of the following wavelet transform methods: CWT, DWT, DTWT, 2D DWT. The thesis further explains the meaning of the mother wavelet and studies certain specific kinds of wavelets, kinds of thresholding and its purposes and also touches on the JPEG2000 standard. Mathematica and Sage software packages were used to design algorithms for image compression and image noise reduction, utilising relevant wavelet transform findings. The concluding part of the thesis compares the two software packages and results obtained using different algorithms.

The master's thesis "Řidič, ten tvrdý chleba má (describing how hard life the driver has): Changes of the life and work conditions of public transport bus drivers in Prague" tries to bring closer the work of public transport bus drivers in Prague in the period called Normalization and Transformation on the basis of the oral historical method in comparison with secondary literature and the archival research. The thesis focuses on the Prague Public transport Company drivers who worked in Dejvice and Řepy garages. Through obtaining the oral history interviews and the written documents, author explores how the profession has changed over the last forty years. Based on his research, he concludes that drivers dominant position in respect of passengers and the transport company turn into a completely opposite role at present. The topic of the thesis is not only enriching us from the perspective of individual fates but it also allows us to open the topics regarding the impact of the modern technologies on the work of ordinary people. The master's thesis helps to understand the bus driver work and life but also shows the transformation of understanding this profession in the Czech society itself. Title of the thesis: Pace of game in women's single tennis matches at Australian Open 2017 Aim of the thesis: The aim of the thesis is to find out pace of game in women's single tennis matches at Australian Open 2017. Other partial objectives are folowing: compare pace of game in the first, the second and the third round matches with pace of game in quarterfinal, semifinal and final matches, compare pace of game in individual sets and also compare pace of game after the first and the second serve. Methods used in the thesis: The main method was notational analysis based on indirect observation of video records of 23 matches at Australian Open 2017. Rally duration, number of shots in the rally and time between points were measured during the matches. Pace of game and work-rest ratio within the game were calculated. Achieved results: Mean pace of game was 1,21 0,21 s. Mean rally duration was 5,43 4,10 s. Mean number of shots in the rally was 4,47 3,00 shots. Mean time between points was 21,24 3,69 s. Mean work-rest ratio within the game was 1 : 4,03 5,41. The difference between final and initial round matches was 0,07 s, in favour of final round matches. Euroscepticism is considered as a stream of thoughts whch is typical of the EU distrust or of the European integration and its goals as such. The most common objections to joining the integration proces are loss of national sovereignty, not paying enough attention to national interests or too strict policy unification that does not allow for national particularities. This master thesis will focus on euroscepticism as a concept, il will analyze its ideological roots and the most frequent arguments in favour of this concept. Furthermore, it will analyze various classifications of euroscepticism as well as its potential to be called a new cleavage or even ideology as I suggest that there is no widely-accepted definition. Great Britain - a representative of traditionally very sceptical approach towards European integration project has been chosen as a model case. In this case study firstly, the development of potential eurosceptical thinking within the Conservative Party and the Labour Party will be explored. The Diploma thesis focuses on examination of real interconnection between political extremism and hardcore fans of Bohemians 1905, Slavie Praha and Sparta Praha. The research itself is therefore concentrated primarily on people associated with political extremism and their relation to groups of ultras and hooligans and furthermore their influence on these groups. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces theory of political extremism, typology groups of people attending football games, their development and the reasons of their politicization. The analytical part elaborates particulary the different Prague football clubs and their fans. Part of the data is applied from fourteen half-structured interviews with ultras and hooligans representatives of these clubs. The goal of the thesis is to clarify the real scale of interconnection between political activists and hardcore fans on the one hand, and on the other hand to point out and explain the attempts of political extremist to penetrace into this enviroment and assess the degree of their success.

This diploma thesis analyses education and development of employees in selected organization. The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the current system of education and development of employees in selected organization. Theoretical part defines the basic terminology, which is more elaborated in practical part. Practical part consists of description of the organization, description of education that is currently being used and also questionnaires for employees, and unstructured interview. Questionnaires include twenty questions, that were given to the employees of selected business. Most of the employees were very willing and helpful. Questionnaire contains questions targeted at education and development of employees. Output of these questionnaires is finding, whether the organization motivates employees enough to increase their education and whether it offers or mediates sufficient amount of methods to increase education. The work is concluded with proposals and suggestions for making the education system more efficient.

The diploma thesis Problematics of Spelling Soft and Hard Consents in Teaching deals with the given topic within the curriculum of the second year of primary school. The main aim of the thesis was to teach pupils the orthographic rules related to the topic and their application. Theoretical part describes the position of consonants in Czech language, the position of given topic in teaching and problematics of terminology. It also describes the psychomotor development of child. Further, in theoretical part is an analysis of interpretation and practice in Czech language textbooks for the second year of primary school. The subject of the practical part was to create and apply an alternative teaching method and to teach pupils to use soft and hard i/y after spellingly soft and hard consonants. The survey was conducted with pupils of the second year of primary school in the form of application of an alternative teaching method created on the basis of a synthesis of knowledge from the theoretical part. It was attended by 21 pupils for 22 teaching hours. Main testing was performed at the beginning and at the end, continuous testing took place in sections of the subject matter. This study focuses on use of foreign-policy power by Georgia on USA, EU member states and Russia during 2004-2012. In this period, Georgia wanted to enter into alliance with USA and EU states and gain access to Euro-Atlantic organizations, European Union and NATO. At the same time, Georgia wanted to reduce Russian influence on Georgian soil. After a few months of the new Georgian regime it was clear that the relation with its big neighbor will be difficult, mainly because of the two separatist republics on Georgian-Russian border, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The aim of this study is to determine categories of power that Georgia used to achieve its goals. The study uses concepts of small state and power in international relations. The aim of this thesis is to find an answer to the question if gender influences news production and news selection. It is hypothesized that in national daily broadsheet newspapers, the editor's gender has no influence on the professional behaviour and therefore editors' preferences of topics and news values should be identical. The theoretical part deals with different approaches to the topic of gender influence on the news production, describes the situation and stereotyping of female journalists and strategies they choose to deal with it. Next it briefly recapitulates the main news values theories and dichotomy of "hard" and "soft" news. The research part describes a study of gender influence on decision-making processes during news selection in Czech national daily broadsheet newspapers. The statistical methods used herein include the Student's T-test, Z-test and ANOVA. The statistics show no significant differences between male and female editors in consideration of news topic importance (to the reader), news values assessment or the selection of printable news. All the editors in the researched respondent population tend to favor "hard" news and to consider the same values and topics important in the same manner regardless of their gender. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the project management system in the organization and to suggest possible changes. In the first phase of work, the author studied the available literature on the basis of which is a review. The next section describes the project management system in the organization, namely Komerční Banka. Furthermore, comparison of results of research conducted by Ernst and Young with the state Komerční Banka. Further research is described Brandeis University internal research of the Bank. Based on this research are determined two critical reasons for project failure. The first is the lack of definition of essential information at the beginning of the project and other insufficiently competent project manager. Another section is devoted to the project manager. Furthermore SWOT analyses is created. There are described hard and soft skills. Suggestions for improvement were divided for existing project managers and for those newly admitted.

The thesis attemps to map the current situation of the variance process in masculines ended with epicene consonants -s and -z. Based on the description of the situation presented in language guides approximately since 1950s and with the help of Retrográdní slovník současné češtiny, the authoress compiled a list of masculines with this type of ending and afterwards she verified each noun via corpus databáze ČNK syn2010. To komplete the corpus results the authoress used the questionary survey on selected nouns. From acquired data there was set together a summary which should describe the current situation of this variance in these nouns.
