Dalam mendesain template aplikasi berbasis web, programmer web menggunakan sintaks-sintaks CSS untuk membuat tampilan menjadi lebih menarik. Dalam perkembangannya banyak tool-tool atau framework CSS yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mempercepat pengerjaan desain template web, diantaranya Gumby, Foundation, Less Framework, Blueprint CSS dan Twitter Bootstrap. Dari beberapa framework CSS tersebut, Twitter Bootstrap hadir dengan tutorial dan dokumentasi yang berlimpah serta memiliki fitur responsive. Pada penelitian ini penulis megimplementasikan framework Twitter Bootstrap pada perancangan aplikasi penerimaan mahasiswa baru berbasis web. Tahapan yang diambil dalam perancangan Aplikasi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru ini diawali dengan mendownload Twitter Bootstrap dari website resminya dan melakukan ekstraksi ke folder project setelah itu baru class-class yang disediakan oleh Twitter Bootstrap dapat dipanggil dalam pengerjaan desain aplikasi. Dengan penerapan framework twitter bootstrap ini pengerjaan desain aplikasi lebih cepat karena tidak perlu lagi memikirkan sintaks-sintaks css dan menghasilkan template yang responsive, ringan dan simple.

Abstract:
Information dynamics and computational mechanics provide a suite of measures for assessing the information- and computation-theoretic properties of complex systems in the absence of mechanistic models. However, both approaches lack a core set of inferential tools needed to make them more broadly useful for analyzing real-world systems, namely reliable methods for constructing confidence sets and hypothesis tests for their underlying measures. We develop the computational mechanics bootstrap, a bootstrap method for constructing confidence sets and significance tests for information-dynamic measures via confidence distributions using estimates of ϵ -machines inferred via the Causal State Splitting Reconstruction (CSSR) algorithm. Via Monte Carlo simulation, we compare the inferential properties of the computational mechanics bootstrap to a Markov model bootstrap. The computational mechanics bootstrap is shown to have desirable inferential properties for a collection of model systems and generally outperforms the Markov model bootstrap. Finally, we perform an in silico experiment to assess the computational mechanics bootstrap’s performance on a corpus of ϵ -machines derived from the activity patterns of fifteen-thousand Twitter users.

Social media posts regarding measles vaccination were classified as pro-vaccination, expressing vaccine hesitancy, uncertain, or irrelevant. Spearman correlations with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention–reported measles cases and differenced smoothed cumulative case counts over this period were reported (using time series bootstrap confidence intervals). A total of 58,078 Facebook posts and 82,993 tweets were identified from 4 January 2009 to 27 August 2016. Pro-vaccination posts were correlated with the US weekly reported cases (Facebook: Spearman correlation 0.22 (95% confidence interval: 0.09 to 0.34), Twitter: 0.21 (95% confidence interval: 0.06 to 0.34)). Vaccine-hesitant posts, however, were uncorrelated with measles cases in the United States (Facebook: 0.01 (95% confidence interval: −0.13 to 0.14), Twitter: 0.0011 (95% confidence interval: −0.12 to 0.12)). These findings may result from more consistent social media engagement by individuals expressing vaccine hesitancy, contrasted with media- or event-driven episodic interest on the part of individuals favoring current policy.

Abstract:
A flood is an overflow of water that swamps dry land. The gravest effects of flooding are the loss of human life and economic losses. An early warning of these events can be very effective in minimizing the losses. Social media websites such as Twitter and Facebook are quite effective in the efficient dissemination of information pertinent to any emergency. Users on these social networking sites share both textual and rich content images and videos. The Multimedia Evaluation Benchmark (MediaEval) offers challenges in the form of shared tasks to develop and evaluate new algorithms, approaches and technologies for explorations and exploitations of multimedia in decision making for real time problems. Since 2015, the MediaEval has been running a shared task of predicting several aspects of flooding and through these shared tasks, many improvements have been observed. In this paper, the classification framework VRBagged-Net is proposed and implemented for flood classification. The framework utilizes the deep learning models Visual Geometry Group (VGG) and Residual Network (ResNet), along with the technique of Bootstrap aggregating (Bagging). Various disaster-based datasets were selected for the validation of the VRBagged-Net framework. All the datasets belong to the MediaEval Benchmark Workshop, this includes Disaster Image Retrieval from Social Media (DIRSM), Flood Classification for Social Multimedia (FCSM) and Image based News Topic Disambiguation (INTD). VRBagged-Net performed encouraging well in all these datasets with slightly different but relevant tasks. It produces Mean Average Precision at different levels of 98.12, and Average Precision at 480 of 93.64 on DIRSM. On the FCSM dataset, it produces an F1 score of 90.58. Moreover, the framework has been applied on the dataset of Image-Based News Topic Disambiguation (INTD), and exceeds the previous best result by producing an F1 evaluation of 93.76. The VRBagged-Net with a slight modification also ranked first in the flood-related Multimedia Task at the MediaEval Workshop 2020.

AbstractTeaching plan is one of the obligations that must be made by lecturer before conducting any lecture because teaching plan will be used by lecturer as a reference in determining Learning Outcomes (LO) and providing recovery materials in each semester. Unfortunately, there are still many existing teaching plans in College which are still manually developed. Thus, they may undermine head courses and Institute of Educational Development Study and Majors to perform learning monitoring and evaluation in the department.This research developes a system application which facilitates lecturer in managing teaching plan recovery and facilitates the Institute of Educational Development Study and Majors in evaluating the learning effectiveness, the suitability of the teaching journal and the achievement of Learning Outcomes. The system is developed using FAST method (Framework for the Application of System Thinking) and designed using a responsive Twitter Bootstrap template. The information generated system can also be used to support the cccreditation of Program Study. The testing process in this system uses blackbox testing to check the stability of the deployed system. The result of the test shows that all functions in the system runs perfectly, and the lecturers are more easily managing the Teaching plan, and the head of the Department can evaluate the suitability of the Teaching plan with teaching journal.

Political parties are under increasing pressure to extend and activate their voter bases by employing more innovative communication strategies. This article focuses on the social media platform Twitter to explore how well Swiss parties performed in terms of employing digital communication during the 2015 federal election campaign. As such, it uses the follower network as an indicator of organizational cohesion, along with two indicators for programmatic coherence based on Twitter message content. Computing density and centrality statistics allow for the quantification of these two aspects in the party networks, while the nonparametric bootstrap introduces uncertainty of the account sampling process into the analysis. Our results suggest that smaller and newer parties, as well as the Social Democrats, tend to exhibit disproportionally high levels of organizational cohesion. At the same time, most parties show comparable—and also disproportionately low—levels of programmatic coherence compared to those displayed by the Social Democrats.

Dalam merancang dan membangun aplikasi sistem pakar “SPBONSAI” ini menggunakan perancangan sistem UML (Unified Modeling Language), bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor), dan penyimpanan database menggunakan SQL (Structured Query Language), aplikasi ini menggunakan framework twitter bootstrap agar tampilan aplikasi terlihat lebih fresh dan menarik. Software yang digunakan untuk membuat program antara lain: Sybase Power Designer, Notepad++, Photoshop CS3, Mozilla Firefox, dan XAMPP. Aplikasi sistem pakar ini dirancang untuk menentukan style bonsai yang memberikan hasil berupa gambar dan nama style. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi dalam menentukan style bonsai. En este artículo se presenta el desarrollo de un entorno virtual de e-evaluaciones para la administración de evaluaciones y seguimiento del rendimiento académico de los estudiantes en grupos numerosos, aplicado en una prueba piloto en la unidad académica de ingeniería mecatrónica de la Universidad Politécnica de Sinaloa, México. El desarrollo del entorno virtual de e-evaluaciones consiste en el uso del framework de modelo-vista-controlador, CodeIgniter desarrollado por EllisLab, al mismo tiempo se utilizó Bootstrap un framework desarrollado dentro de la compañía Twitter con el objetivo de estandarizar las herramientas que se utilizan en el desarrollo del front-end. Los resultados obtenidos permiten observar un incremento en la interacción sincrónica y asincrónica entre docente y estudiante en un entorno virtual e-evaluaciones; por su parte de los docentes se midió y se observó un ahorro en el tiempo destinado a realizar la evaluación en grupos numerosos, se realizó la evaluación a través de una administración personalizada de cada uno de los estudiantes, por otro lado el entorno virtual hizo partícipe al estudiante de su propia evaluación y retroalimentación, la experiencia en el uso del entorno virtual dicha por los alumnos, fue positiva dado que les permitió desarrollar la evaluación de una manera interactiva en un menor tiempo. Como conclusión se obtuvo que el entorno virtual e-evaluaciones aporta elementos que promueve el seguimiento y monitoreo de los resultados de la evaluación.

In the rendering process design needed parallel processing techniques to the process. so, the impact in terms of rendering time speed to website design. Throughout this system, users can design a website easily and quickly, and in the process of rendering design does not require for long time. the results of study case have done that it can be seen that influences of the implementation of rendering speed transmission media based on the number of processors and computers server. The percentage of the speed to rendering of design does not using a grid server on the LAN network are 33.7 %, 33.3 % and internet routers 33 %. While using a part of grid servers on the LAN network are 33.6 %, 33.4 % and internet routers 33 % and the final grid using 2 servers on the LAN network are 44 %, 33 % and internet routers 26 %. So the highest rendering speed on the LAN router network for further 44 % and 30 % at the latest on the Internet 26 % by using 2 part of grid servers. Thus rendering the best in the website design is using LAN with 2 part of grid servers.

Task of this master thesis is to create system for support of automated testing and deploying of server applications according to requirements defined by company AVG. The main target is create system for deploying and testing that automatically or manually test the server application in the cloud environment with ability of final deployment to the production environment with overall progress monitoring. Automated testing and deploying system has been split to the two parts. The first part is user interface that allows adding new applications, testing applications and deploying applications to its production environment. The second part represents the REST service which process testing and deploying tasks and  store progress to database. System was tested with sample server's applications in Amazon Web Services cloud environment. Thesis describes general testing principles cross multiple areas. Also it contains general architecture withing diagrams, which shows use cases. At the end of thesis is described testing of samples application together with results.

This chapter presents the development of a virtual learning environment through the use of e-assessment based on web technologies. This virtual environment development consists in the use of Code Igniter developed by EllisLab. Bootstrap was also simultaneously used, which is a framework developed within Twitter, with the objective of standardizing the tools that are used in the development. This virtual environment allowed to assess and keep track of the work of a selected group of students from the Mechatronics Engineering academic program of the Universidad Politécnica de Sinaloa in Mexico, which, throughout the course, allowed teachers to manage the students' assessments. As a conclusion, it was found that the virtual learning environment using e-assessment contributes to the teacher-student interaction within a virtual environment and in an online modality. Finally, it was reported that time spans in different areas were optimized, such as the areas of elaboration, design, application, and feedback of the university students' assessment.

Abstract:
The same basic differential equation model has been adapted for time-dependent conversions of members of a population among different states. The conversion model has been applied in different contexts such as epidemiological infections, the Bass model for the diffusion of innovations, and the ideodynamic model for public opinion. For example, the ideodynamic version of the model predicts changes in public opinions in response to persuasive messages extending back to an indefinite past. All messages are measured with error, and this chapter discusses how errors in message measurements disappear with time so that predicted opinion values gradually become unaffected by past measurement errors. Prediction uncertainty is discussed using formal statistics, sensitivity analysis, and bootstrap variance calculations. This chapter presents ideodynamic predictions for opinion time series about the Toyota car manufacturer calculated from daily Twitter scores over two-and-a-half years. During this time, there was a sudden onslaught of bad news for Toyota, and the model was able to accurately predict the accompanying drop in favourable public opinion towards Toyota and rise in unfavourable opinion.
