For maximum likelihood estimator, covariate parameters, and the shape parameter of Weibull regression distribution with the censored data of Type II will be estimated by the study. It is shown that the obtained estimators in closed forms are not available, but through the usage of appropriate numerical methods, they can be solved. Abstract. Type I linear regression models, which allow for measurement errors only in the criterion variable, are frequently used in modeling research in psychology and the social sciences. Although there are frequently measurement errors and large natural variation both in the criterion and predictor variables, type II regression methods that account for these errors are seldom used in these fields of study. Abstract The rate of penetration is an important factor for the optimization of the drilling operation. Precise approximation of the rate of penetration allows for the management of consumption costs, providing better planning of future wells since the optimization of the rate of penetration allows the target depth to be reached at a lower cost, in addition to meeting operational and environmental requirements. Excessive values of rate of penetration can cause problems such as pipe clogging, poor hole cleaning, and bit tooth wear, which counteract the benefits of fast drilling, therefore achie
