Background It has become possible to use data from a patient’s mobile phone as an adjunct or alternative to the traditional self-report and interview methods of symptom assessment in psychiatry. Mobile data–based assessment is possible because of the large amounts of diverse information available from a modern mobile phone, including geolocation, screen activity, physical motion, and communication activity. This data may offer much more fine-grained insight into mental state than traditional methods, and so we are motivated to pursue research in this direction. However, passive data retrieval

The following are defined as objective and subjective signs of violence: illegal behavior that manifests itself in the external environment and is expressed in specific conscious acts of human activity; targeting another person's body; the presence of a specific addressee (the victim — in the case of direct violence, or his relatives — in the case of indirect violence); can take place both against and against the will of another person (victim); the intention

The syntactic concept ‘MENTAL ACTIVITY’ describes the intellectual and mental activity of the subject-agent in relation to a certain object-theme. Based on the conducted conceptual analysis, such conceptual characteristics as “orientation on agent” and “orientation on object” were singled out. The syntactic concept ‘MENTAL ACTIVITY’, extracted from the typical constructions of the complex sentences with an object clause based on American English, is most often found in the Corpus of Contemporary American English in fiction (35%) and spoken texts (26%), slightly less in popular magazines (18 %)

Clinical evidence suggests that three major patterns of disturbance of the supervisory mental processes that regulate self-generated mental activity can occur, either alone or together, in a variety of neurological and psychiatric conditions. Psychomotor poverty involves a diminished ability to initiate activity. Psychomotor disorganization reflects impaired ability to select between activities. Reality distortion, which is manifest as delusions and hallucinations, appears to reflect an abnormality of internal monitoring of mental activity. Each of these three syndromes is associated with a sp

COVID-19 stay-at-home orders impacted the way humans interacted with built and natural environments. Previous research on the human use of green spaces during the pandemic, largely conducted in a Western context, has found increased use of home gardens and urban green spaces, and decreased visitation to conservation areas. We explored changes in residents’ outdoor nature-associated activities during the pandemic in the West Bank, Palestine.
