Abstract:
Cross-coupling reactions furnishing carbon–carbon (C–C) and carbon–heteroatom (C–X) bond is one of the most challenging tasks in organic syntheses. The early developed reaction protocols by Ullmann, Ullman–Goldberg, Cadiot–Chodkiewicz, Castro–Stephens, and Corey–House, utilizing elemental copper or its salts as catalyst have, for decades, attracted and inspired scientists. However, these reactions were suffering from the range of functional groups tolerated as well as severely restricted by the harsh reaction conditions often required high temperatures (150–200 °C) for extended reaction time.

Abstract:
The Cu‐catalyzed Ullmann‐Goldberg cross‐coupling between aryl iodides and oxamates is shown to afford the corresponding N‐aryloxamates with yields ranging from moderate to excellent, when the oxamate precursor incorporates a bulky tertiary alkyl group effectively preventing product degradation under the strongly basic reaction conditions. The final oxamic acids are then generated through the acid hydrolysis of the oxamate in high yields. These acids were then converted into urethanes using PIDA under thermal conditions or a visible‐light Fe‐LMCT process. While electron‐deficient N‐aryl oxamic

Abstract:

4 części prezentowanej pracy doktorskiej dotyczą studiów literaturowych i oryginalnych wyników badań w różnych obszarach chemii organicznej i metaloorganicznej. 1) Kompleksy NHC rutenu(II) jako
