Abstract:
Cyanoacrylate has been used in medicine and dentistry for many years. It has been used as a postextraction dressing and retrograde filling material in endodontic surgery. The aim of this study was to evaluate the cytotoxic effects of Histoacryl and other two homologue ethyl cyanoacrylates, Super Bonder and Ultrabond, on cultured fibroblasts, using the Trypan blue dye exclusion assay. The cyanoacrylates were applied to round glass coverslips, which were placed in contact with NIH 3T3 cells. After 0, 6, 12 and 24 h (short-term assay; viability) and 1, 3, 5 and 7 days (long-term assay; survival), the cells were examined under phase light microscopy and counted. The data were compared by the Kruskal-Wallis test. In the short-term experiments, only the cultures of the Ultrabond group (GIV) presented significant smaller percentages of cell viability than the cultures of the other groups (GI: control; GII: Super Bonder; GIII: Histoacryl). Although the cultures of the Super Bonder group (GII) presented smaller percentages of cell viability than cultures of the other groups (GI, GIII, GIV) at the long-term assay, this group was the only experimental group presenting a continuous and progressive cell growth. Our results have shown an in vitro biocompatibility of Histoacryl and ethyl cyanoacrylate homologues. These cyanoacrylates could therefore be of importance for endodontic purposes.

Abstract:
Effective 3D stacking of DRAM devices can offer many benefits; improved performance, increased component density and greater surface area utilization. To enable the new generations of processors to reach their performance potential many manufacturers have developed more efficient interface formats that enable greater memory bandwidth. This revolution in performance driven electronic systems continues to challenge the IC packaging industry. The challenge is clear. To ensure that the memory functions are able to support the increased signal speed, product developers will need to explore more innovative 3D package assembly techniques and process refinement methodologies. The methodology selected for package assembly, however, must consider process complexity, the costs associated with each process, overall package assembly yield and, from the users perspective, end product reliability. For some applications companies have had limited success in stacking die elements directly onto an interposer substrate using wire-bond processes. High performance DRAM die, however, is especially difficult to stack. This is due to the center positioned wire-bond sites. This factor has complicated the DRAM die stacking process and because of the excessively long wire-bond interface, functional signal speed is significantly degraded. Stacking individually packaged DRAM (package-on-package) has had considerable success but the package outline dimension and package height can be excessive. In this paper the authors will introduce a very innovative and very thin 3D package developed specifically for center-bond pad DRAM die. The package assembly methodology promises to remain economical because it requires no special die level process steps and it can utilize the existing package assembly infrastructure. Additionally, data compiled during extensive performance and reliability modeling will be presented along with the results from actual physical qualification testing.

In this paper, we focus on the notebook toward thin, metal housing trends, proposed meet environmental and planar thin metal antenna design, compared to the traditional inverted-F antenna design, this paper proposes a loop antennas, slot antennas and shaft structure combined with an integrated antenna, able to meet the current wireless LAN (Wireless Local Network Area) the system requires a 2.4 GHz (2400 ~ 2500 MHz) and 5 GHz (5150 ~ 5875 MHz) dual-band operating bandwidth. And in order to be placed in ultra-thin notebooks (Ultra-thin Notebook, the text referred Ultrabook) the limited space, this paper uses a planar antenna printed antenna design approach, if necessary, along the exterior chassis the curvature for the bend, in addition to comply with the application of thin computer, while reducing costs. Detailed design, simulation, measurement results, experimental analysis will discuss to show in this paper and discussed.

The computer system evolution from the Desktop to replace notebook, every enterprise constant pursue of the ultimate, to development ultrabook and more efficient of ultraportable laptop products come out, pursuit of product of the ultimate, and develop more efficient thin ultraportable laptop products come out, however, in pursuit of the ultimate behind the notebook without making a breakthrough in ergonomics, the purposes are human factors research and design improvement ultrabook keyboards. Human factors experimental design with adjustable keyboard model experiment used five different sets of angle of the keyboard for input performance tests, testers completed of questionnaires subjective scale; for input performance, a positive inclination of 12 degrees maximum input performance, next is positive 8 degrees, negative rake angle -8 degrees, degrees -12 and 0 degree, the input performance should be change by the input angle; And a positive inclination subjective satisfaction than negative rake angle, angle of 8 degrees higher than the 12 degrees, of the input performance, enter the correct rate was not significantly different. The experimental results are 8 degrees of anteversion keyboard uplift, obvious in the subjective satisfaction highest satisfaction for men and women in all satisfaction slightly different sequence, Women satisfied sequence of positive inclination angle of 8 degrees, the level of 0 degrees, 12 degrees positive and negative inclination angle -8, -12 degrees, the male sequence of angle satisfaction of 8 degrees, 12 degrees and 0 degrees for normal notebook and -8, -12 degrees, Ultrabooks with the split keyboard is same inclination angle of 8 degrees, the proposed multi-segment can be designed according to size and angle for the end-user to adjust the input habits.

In this thesis, WWAN/LTE and LTE MIMO antennas for ultrabook computers are presented. The MIMO antenna system comprises an eight-band LTE/WWAN antenna and a three-band LTE antenna. The bandwidth of the eight-band LTE/WWAN antenna is enhanced by using an embedded parallel resonant circuit, which can result in dual-resonance excitation of the lowest resonant mode of the antenna. The bandwidth of the antenna’s lower band can hence cover the LTE700/GSM850/900 operation. A design technique of improving the isolation of the MIMO antenna system is also presented. The isolation enhancement is obtained by embedding a 0.5-wavelength slot in the conductive supporting plate of the upper cover of the ultrabook computer. The embedded slot can attract the excited surface currents in the conductive supporting plate and decrease the coupling between the MIMO antennas through the coupling of the surface currents. The isolation between the MIMO antennas can hence be enhanced. Moreover, this technique will not lead to decreased radiation efficiency and impedance matching of the MIMO antennas, which is attractive for practical applications.
