Abstract:
Waste writing paper samples were collected from some used practical record books from chemistry laboratories, Department of Chemistry, Bago University. Waste writing papers were deinked by using hydrogen peroxide and sodium laurly sulphate and then treated with 5% NaOH. The resultant samples were coded as untreated waste writing papers (UWP) and NaOH treated waste writing papers (TWP).The physicochemical properties of UWP and TWP (moisture, ash, PH ) were determined by conventional methods.

Rabbit is a traditional textile material and has protein content about 93%. Rabbit hair wastes are abundantly present in textile processing due to its poor spinnability. In order to recycle the waste rabbit fiber effectively, the rabbit protein was researched. The papermaking method was performed for the first time and their properties of the hybrid paper were discussed in this study. Different contents of rabbit protein were successfully prepared and mixed with pulp fibers to remade papers. Finally, performances of these papers were characterized. The results showed that the surface of the ra

The pulp and paper industry has a great impact in the world. It has been manufactured for ages and ages, it is still booming up as industry in small scale and large scale levels. Despite the fact that they produce printing and writing papers, paper rolls, packaging material etc. they also produce large amount of waste materials from their Industry by Manufacturing. This when left untreated leads to environmental pollution, harsh contamination and so on. As every industry has its own waste water treatment methods to recycle, reuse and reduce pollution. The solid waste management is not only necessary for maintaining the hygienic environment but in reducing the probable health hazards. The current study deals with the problems faced by the public due to improper waste management and the behaviour in waste disposal. The data used in our study is both primary and the secondary data. Waste cannot be simply thrown away anymore, now it must be managed. Many materials thrown away could be saved by simple things like reusing glass, the municipal landfill could be reduced by almost 10 percent and there are still many advantages to waste management. T

This study explores a sustainable papermaking approach to contribute to forest conservation by repurposing delignified herbal waste and maple leaves as alternative cellulose sources. By reducing reliance on traditional wood-based materials, this method supports forest conservation while promoting environmental sustainability and creating economic opportunities from agricultural byproducts. Controlled experiments were conducted to extract cellulose and form paper using four fiber compositions: 100% leaf (P1), 100% herbal waste (P2), 75% leaf + 25% herbal waste (P3), and 75% leaf + 25% wood pulp

In this study, the optimization of formamidine sulfinic acid (FAS) and hydrogen peroxide (P) bleaching stages of pre-bleached blue, red, yellow, green, and mixed colored office papers was investigated. The FAS was performed as a strong color stripping reagent on blue and green colored samples. However, due to reduced amine compounds FAS was not found to be effective on the red colored samples. In contrast, effective results were obtained with hydrogen peroxide on the red and yellow colored samples. These results showed that the two reagents must be used together in a sequence. This piece is more reminiscent of a stream of consciousness than a discussion on entropy, analogising the intriguing applicability of thermodynamism in relation to understandings of law, lines, and ex-tant resistances. To speak of exerted energy, that which is wasted in the machinations of a seemingly closed system, is prescient in a time of disruption and apoplexia. Beyond the aesthetic nerve that enticed the writing of this piece on entropy, there are legal and politi-cal analogies and extant anxieties that lend an overwhelming famil-iarity to this encounter with thermodynamic processes.
