<strong>The objective:</strong>&nbsp;to conduct an analysis of contemporary research data devoted to the study of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS), evaluate its manifestations according to the UPOINT classification and the NIH-CPSI scale, and present our own experience in applying the NIH-CPSI scale and UPOINT classification in clinical practice. <strong>Materials and methods.</strong>&nbsp;A literature search was conducted in scientific databases using keywords such as &laquo;chronic prostatitis&raquo;, &laquo;chronic pelvic pain syndrome&raquo;, &laquo;pathophysiology&raquo;, &laquo;diagnosis&raquo;, and &laquo;treatment&raquo;. A total of 25 patients with CP/CPPS were examined to demonstrate the clinical utility of the NIH-CPSI scale and UPOINT classification. <strong>Results.</strong>&nbsp;The literature review represented main theories of pathogenesis and approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of CP/CPPS. Additionally, clinical data demonstrated that the average NIH-CPSI score among patients with CP/CPPS was 26.8&plusmn;6.8 points. According to the UPOINT classification, the urinary domain was present in 88.0% of patients, psychosocial domain in 68.0%, organ-specific domain in 48.0%, infectious domain in 32.0%, neurological domain in 24.0%, and muscle tension domain in 12.0% of patients. <strong>Conclusions.</strong> Phenotyping based on the UPOINT classification along with the NIH-CPSI scale can be utilized in patients to assess and guide multimodal treatment for CP/CPPS.

Abstract:
Objective. UPOINT clinical phenotype system was used to estimate the type III prostatitis patients. Put in the erectile dysfunction (ED) domain and analysis the ED domain’s effect towards the UPOINT system. Methods. A total of 126 patients with type III prostatitis were prospectively collected and classified in each domain of the UPOINT system, including urinary, psychosocial, organ-specific, infection, neurological/systemic, and tenderness. Symptom severity was measured using the national institutes of health chronic prostatitis symptom index (NIH-CPSI) and the international prostate symptom score (IPSS). The erectile function was evaluated using the international index of erectile function (IIEF-5). Mental state was evaluated using the Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90). The quality of life of patients was assessed by the Quality of Life scale (QoL). Results. The percentage of patients positive for each domain was 60.32%, 43.65%, 53.17%, 11.11%, 42.06%, and 33.33% for the urinary, psychosocial, organ-specific, infection, neurological/systemic, and tenderness, respectively. There were significant correlations between the number of positive UPOINT domains and total NIH-CPSI ( r = 0.630 , P &lt; 0.001 ) and IPSS ( r = 0.429 , P &lt; 0.001 ). Symptom duration was associated with a number of positive domains ( r = 0.194 , P &lt; 0.05 ). After adding an ED domain to establish a modified UPOINT system, the correlation between the number of positive domains and symptom severity was not improved (0.630 to 0.590, P &lt; 0.001 ). The percentage of the patients who suffered psychosocial problems was 43.65%. Conclusions. In our cohort, the number of positive domains was correlated with symptom severity. Inclusion of the ED phenotype in the UPOINT phenotype classification system did not significantly enhance the association of positive presentation with symptom severity. Our findings presented do not support the utility of using ED as a stand-alone item in the UPOINT domain. Psychological problems should be considered when treating type III prostatitis patients.

Introduction: Two decades of increasing understanding of etiopathogenesis and clinical phenotyping produces an impression the clinical face of chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) is changing. We sought to retrospectively analyze trends in CP/CPPS patients presenting to our clinic for evaluation over a 16-year period.Methods: Patients with CP/CPPS presenting to a tertiary clinic were evaluated prospectively from 1998–2014 with Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index (CPSI) and UPOINT (urinary, psychosocial, organspecific, infection, neurogenic, and tenderness) categorization. Patients were stratified in four cohorts, based on year of presentation, and we retrospectively analyzed variations in symptom scores and patterns, UPOINT categorization, and treatment modalities amongst cohorts.Results: Mean age of the 1310 CP/CPPS patients was 44.7 years, while mean CPSI pain, urination, and total scores were 10.6, 4.8, and 23.3, respectively. The most prevalent UPOINT domain, urinary (U) (71.8%) was associated with a higher CPSI urination score (6.3), more frequent penile tip pain (37%), dysuria (48%), and more treatment with alpha-blockers (70%). Increase in UPOINT domains was associated with higher CPSI pain, quality of life (QoL), and total scores. Trends over time included increased prevalence of psychosocial (P), organ (O), and tenderness (T) domains, as well as increased use of alpha-blockers, neuromodulation, and phytotherapy as treatment modalities. There was little variation in age, CPSI scores, and pain locations over time.Conclusions: The changing clinical face of CP/CPPS reflects the increased recognition of psychosocial (P domain) and pelvic floor pain (T domain), along with the concomitant use of associated therapies. There was little variation of pain/urinary symptom patterns and QoL.

Objective: Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) is a common problem and severely impairs the quality of life (QoL). We aimed to investigate the effects of different treatment options on voiding symptoms and QoL in patients with urinary phenotype according to the UPOINT system. Matherial and methods: Ninety-six patients with NIH category II,III CP/CPPS were included in the study prospectively. After the diagnosis, the questionnaires including NIH Chronic prostatitis Symptom Index (NIH-CPSI), International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), Overactive Bladder Screening Questionnaire (OAB-V8), and Beck depression inventory were filled by the patients. The patients with urinary phenotype were treated by alpha-blocker, antimuscarinic or both therapy modalities (combined) considering the specific therapy recommendations by UPOINT. The questionnaires applied on the first visit were reapplied after one month and treatment success was evaluated. Results: Seventy-three patients were included in ‘Urinary phenotype’ group (76%) and 23 were included in ‘other phenotypes’ (24%) group of the patients according to the UPOINT classification. Significant improvements of symptoms were observed with the all treatment modalities when the NIH-CPSI, IPSS and OAB-V8 scores were compared before and after treatment in the ‘Urinary phenotype’ group. Significant differences in the percentage of change in values were obtained in the anticholinergic group for pain subdomain of NIH-CPSI and IPSS scores.Conclusion: U-POINT clasification is useful for deciding on the treatment modality in CP/CPSS patients. We showed anticholinergic therapy might be effective option. Addition to the symptomatic recovery, there is need more further studies about effectivity cholinergic system in the prostate tissue.

Introduction: Phenotypic differentiation of patients with interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS) may improve our understanding of the condition, as well as the development of patient-specific treatment strategies. We identified a distinct subgroup of IC/BPS patients with a multiple sensitivity phenotype.Methods: We defined patients with this IC/BPS associated multiple sensitivity syndrome as having at least 3 confirmed allergies/sensitivities to medications and/or environmental factors and a diagnosis of IC/BPS. These IC/BPS patients identified with a multiple sensitivity phenotype (cases) were compared to age-matched IC/BPS patients with few or no allergies (controls) at a 1:2 ratio. Comparisons were undertaken using standardized case assessment parameters (age, duration of symptoms, medical history, Interstitial Cystitis Symptoms Index [ICSI] and pelvic pain and urinary urgency/frequency [PUF] symptom scores, and urinary, psychosocial, organ specific, infection, neurologic/systemic, tenderness [UPOINT] categorization).Results: The study consisted of 17 cases and 34 age-matched controls; the mean age was 55 and 56 years, respectively. There was statistically more medication and environmental allergies in the cases versus controls. Cases reported more concomitant illnesses (9.6 vs. 6.2, p &lt; 0.001) and number of bodily systems affected (6.0 vs. 3.8, p ≤ 0.001). The prevalence of irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia was higher in the case group (p = 0.028, p ≤ 0.001, respectively). Additionally, there were more reported psychiatric diseases (p = 0.019), allergic/immune diseases (p = 0.003), and pulmonary diseases (p &lt; 0.001) in the case group. UPOINT classification differed with more patients in the case group being categorized in the psychosocial and neuropathic/systemic domains (p = 0.045, p = 0.007, respectively). Total UPOINT classification (out of 6) was also higher in cases than controls (4.6 vs. 3.2, p = 0.001, respectively).Conclusions: We have characterized a distinct phenotypic group of patients with IC/BPS and multiple sensitivities. The limitations of our study include the retrospective case-control matching design, biases in phenotype definition, single centre patient recruitment, and the lack of follow-up. Nonetheless, the observation of this specific phenotype suggests that further research in this group may help develop targeted therapeutic strategies for patients with a concomitant multiple sensitivity syndrome and IC/BPS.

Purposely to that, the content and scope of this concept are ascertained, rules on differentiation between attempt upon a crime and complete crime are made, the problem of grounds for responsibility for the attempt upon a crime is exposed, the elaborated rules of criminal-legal qualification of the attempt upon a crime in the criminal-legal science and in the law enforcement are generalized, systematized and refined. The effectiveness of legal regulation of responsibility for the attempt upon a crime is evaluated; suggestions on improving of legislation in this part are made.

Abstract:
Electrocatalysis plays a prominent role in renewable energy conversion and storage, enabling a number of sustainable processes for future technologies. There are generally three strategies to improve the efficiency (or activity) of the electrocatalysts: (i) increasing the intrinsic activity of the catalyst itself; (ii) improving the exposure of active sites; and (iii) acceleratingmass transfer during catalysis (both reactants and products). These strategies are not mutually exclusive and can ideally be addressed simultaneously, leading to the largest improvements in activity. Aerogels, as featured by large surface area, high porosity, and self-supportability provide a platform that matches all the aforementioned criteria for the design of efficient electrocatalysts. The field of aerogel synthesis has seen much progress in recent years, mainly thanks to the rapid development of nanotechnology. Employing precursors with different properties enables the resulting aerogel with targeted catalytic properties and improved performances. This report demonstrates the design strategies of aerogel catalysts and reviews their performances for several electrochemical reactions. The common principles that govern electrocatalysis are further discussed for each category of reactions, thus serving as a guide to the development of future aerogel electrocatalysts.

Abstract:
Роми и њихови преци, било да су (били) доживљавани као етничка или друштвена група сусретали су се са различитим степенима неповерења од стране државног апарата (који је делимично и настајао кроз сукобе са амбулаторним занатлијама). Екстремни вид тог неповерења био је прогон од стране власти, било да се радило о протеривању, физичком кажњавању или убијању које је имало свој врхунац током нацистичке окупације Европе током Другог светског рата. Овај чланак истражује један други вид страдања Рома, погром, као насиље које може да спроводи мање или више организовано становништво. Ипак, чланак указује да су границе између политике у ужем и ширем смислу врло пропустљиве и да између самоорганизованих група и одређеног нивоа државне власти по правилу постоји повезаност. Та веза може бити синхронизација деловања власти и нападача, или супротно – напади на Роме могу бити вид протеста становништва против власти.

Abstract:
У раду се говори о погрому Српске православне цркве у Смиљану, родном месту нашег великог научника Николе Тесле у току Другог светског рата (1941 – 1945). У првим данима тзв. Независне Државе Хрватске, усташки војници ухапсили су и свирепо убили православног свештеника – протојереја Матију Стијачића, пароха смиљанског. Недуго затим усташе су извршиле стравичне покоље православног становништва у периоду од 1. до 10. августа 1941. године у којима је страдало преко 500 Срба. Православни храм Светог апостола Петра и Павла и парохијски дом опљачкани су и спаљени у јесен 1941. године. Један део смиљанских Срба одведен је у логор Јадовно где су мученички пострадали у јамама на Велебиту. Усташе су 5. марта 1945. године поново дошле у Смиљан и обесиле 30 Срба. Плашчански прота Исо Пејновић, родом из Смиљана, након интернације у Београд 1941. године, прикупљао је извештаје и сведочанства о страдању Срба у Смиљану у току рата. Парохија смиљанска пред почетак рата 1941. године имала је преко 1.000 православних становника, а након завршетка рата по попису из 1948. године, у Смиљану је живело свега 30 Срба. Мученичке кости пострадалих Срба из Смиљана почивају у заједничкој гробници у порти храма Светих апостола Петра и Павла.

Abstract:
Новинари представљају категорију цивила којој међународно ратно право пружа посебну и појачану заштиту. Ова заштита обухвата ратне дописнике и новинаре који су ангажовани у опасним професионалним мисијама у подручјима оружаног сукоба. Аутор у овом раду излаже и анализира постојећа нормативна решења у овој материји, те уочава и издваја одређене новине које нису обухваћене међународноправним оквиром на адекватан начин. Актуелна међународноправна заштита новинара у оружаним сукобима очигледно не представља делотворан и целовит систем заштите, јер је у пракси још увек могуће уочити бројна груба кршења диспозиција међународног ратног права о посебној заштити новинара. Корпус постојећих заштитних норми не нормира проблематику све присутнијег медијског рата који прати оружане сукобе и из њих произлази, као ни разлику између извештавања о оружаном сукобу и пропагандног ангажовања. Преиспитивање постојеће међународноправне заштите новинара у оружаним сукобима се показало као нужност, будући да је у пракси нужно установити њихову ваљану и потпуну заштиту. Парадигматичан пример новинарске жртве у оружаном сукобу представља погром новинарске екипе РТС_а на Банији 1991. године, који је остао нерасветљен и без судског епилога.

Abstract:
У раду се одређује феномен мучеништва у хришћанству и указује на страдање свештеномученика Саве Горњокарловачког, који је духовни покровитељ Универзитета Привредна академија у Новом Саду. Затим се у неколико карактеристичних момената прави паралела између хришћанских мученика у раној Цркви и српских православних хришћана новомученика. Посебно ће бити истакнуто страдање деце, жртава геноцида у Независној држави Хрватској. На крају, као специфично српски проблем, анализира се стално позивање на опраштање за српске жртве, чиме се излази изван граница хришћанског поимања праштања. Рад има за циљ да укаже на значај светих српских новомученика за српски народ.

Abstract:
За српски народ, 20. и почетак 21. века периоди су великих страдања и изазова са којим се цела нација у више наврата сусретала. Предмет научног истраживања у овом раду односи се на развој и неговање културе сећања на погроме и злочине који су се десили према српском народу са посебним акцентом на дешавања на територији КиМ у марту 2004. године. Последице агресије НАТО на територију СР Југославије узроковале су да се десио масовни погром Срба, када је између 17. и 19. марта 2004. године неколико десетина лица изгубило живот, а рањено је више стотина особа. Мотив за погром је био притисак на српски живаљ, стварање услова за његов егзодус, при чему је протерано око 4000 Срба, а око 800 кућа је уништено, уз велика материјална разарања свега што има везе са српским наслеђем и православљем. Ова дешавања размотрићемо кроз призму теорије реализма у науци о међународним односима. На овај начин даје се шири угао разматрања на околности које су утицале и довеле до тога да се српски живаљ са територије КиМ уплаши, истера и умањи његов утицај. Са научног аспекта, из визуре политиколошког приступа узроцима погрома, гајићемо културу сећања на овакве и сличне догађаје, борећи се против некултуре заборава, а сваку жртву палу за идеал слободе баштинити у традицији и са поносом поштовати. У складу са реалистичком теоријом о непрестаној тежњи моћи као узроку сукоба и друштвених појава које доводе до злочина и погрома, користећи методу анализе садржаја докумената, као и дескрипцијом околности које су у међународним односима крајем 20. века узроковале погром Срба на КиМ, анализираћу дешавања из угла реалистичне теорије међународних односа и генерализујући одређене друштвене појаве даћу одговоре на постављене хипотезе.

Abstract:
У току првог месеца постојања Независне Државе Хрватске (НДХ), еволуцијом правног и казненог поретка створена су правна оруђа са циљем спровођења идеологије Хрватске револуционарне организације –Усташа (УХРО) која је створила НДХ. Та еволуција правничких покушаја може да се прати кроз паралеле са законодавством Трећег Рајха, примену Казненог Законика Краљевине Југославије уз бројне измене, доношење новог „споредног законодавства” и успостављање мреже „специјалних судова”. Циљ свих ових промена је био да се доносе и усавршавају казнени прописи, са циљем да исход сваког суђења буде исти. Да пресуда увек буде „крив” а казна „смрт стрељањем”. Ове правне промене са једне стране и коришћење институција и службених лица НДХ са друге стране, створиле су својеврстан апарат власти као систем који је обезбеђивао извршење казни над српским становништвом. Ове правне промене су у раду препознате и документоване кроз бројне случајеве са територије читаве НДХ током првих месеци постојања те државе. Ово повезивање правне легислативе и дешавања на терену, може се пратити како хронолошки, односно везано за датуме доношења правних аката или именовања састава Изванредних народних или Пријеких судова, тако и суштински везано за правну легислативу која је доношена. Повезивање дешавања на терену са променама правног и казненог поретка НДХ је дато кроз примере из разних делова НДХ, посебно оних у којима су живели Срби, што указује на истоветност дешавања на највећем делу територије те државе. Дешавања у Бихаћу и његовој околини су дати као посебна студија случаја, где се на мањем простору прати след документованих догађаја који се могу екстраполирати на целу НДХ.

Abstract:
Свеобухватно страдање у ратовима – непријатељске војске, њених објеката и средстава, а такође становништва зараћених држава и њихових добара, државних објеката, инфраструктуре, религијских и културних објеката присутно је у свим ратовима, без обзира на њихову дужину и интензитет трајања. Међутим, крај ХХ и почетак ХХI века донели су и бројна страдања у миру и без формалне објаве рата између појединих држава, односно народа на различитим континентима. Поред страдања људи и материјалних добара у најширем смислу те речи, у великом обиму у овом периоду долазило је до страдања културних добара широм света, па и на територији Републике Србије. Циљ рада је да покуша да разјасни да ли се уништења културних добара у Републици Србији, једно од кривичних дела из групе против човечности и међународног права прописано у домаћем кривичном законодавству може препознати као једно ново кривично дело – као погром, које тек треба препознати, дефинисати и пронаћи му адекватно место у домаћем кривичном законодавству.
