Trabalho Final do Mestrado Integrado em Medicina apresentado à Faculdade de Medicina<br>Introdução: A Hemorragia Digestiva Alta (HDA) é definida como uma hemorragia que ocorre no trato gastrointestinal superior, acima do ligamento de Treitz. A apresentação clínica pode ser evidente, com hematemeses e/ou melenas, ou o doente pode apresentar sinais subtis, como palidez ou anemia por carência de ferro. A Endoscopia Digestiva Alta (EDA) é o exame de eleição para identificar o local e a causa da hemorragia, podendo ser utilizada para a realização de procedimentos terapêuticos. Objetivo: Caracteriza
