 Methodology: Urena lobata was grown in twelve (12) Plastic containers filled with four kilograms (4 kg) of sandy-loam soil contaminated with 0 mL, 20 mL, 40 mL, 60 mL, 80 mL and 100 mL and monitored for twelve weeks (12) after planting.

Polysaccharides are of interest due to many valuable biological activities such as immunomodulatory, anti-cancer, diabetes treatment, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. This scientific work was carried out to investigate the properties (hygroscopic, physical and thermal) of fibers extracted from the Urena Lobata and Sida Stipulata plants, in order to compare them with other fibers already used in the manufacture of panels or biosourced concretes. The fibers are manually detached from the plant trunk, then dried and studied. The results of the study revealed that Urena Lobata fibers are more sensitive to water. The water absorption rate and water content were respectively evaluated at 228.58% and 10.5% for Urena Lobata fibers and 220.94% and 8.6% for Sida Stip

Their structures were determined on the basis of extensive spectroscopic and spectrometric data (1D and 2D NMR; IR; CD; and HRESIMS). Compounds 2–4; 6; 7; 10; and 11 showed inhibition of nitric oxide production in lipopolysaccharide-induced RAW 264.7 macrophage cells with IC50 values in the range of 25.5–98.4 μM (positive control; quercetin; IC50 = 7.2 ± 0.2 μM).
