We study usage automata, a formal model for specifying policies on the usage of resources. Usage automata extend finite state automata with some additional features, parameters and guards, that improve their expressivity. We show that usage automata are expressive enough to model policies of real-world applications. We discuss their expressive power, and we prove that the problem of telling whether a computation complies with a usage policy is decidable. The main contribution of this paper is a model checking technique for usage automata. The model is that of usages, i.e. basic processes that

This paper presents the study of a new generation textile temperature sensor in two different heated ovens. The first chamber was used to evaluate temperature and the second was used to evaluate both temperature and humidity. Data acquisition systems based on LabVIEW and Agilent were developed using thermocouples and Pt100 sensors. The results show many metrological characteristics that prove that the sensor is a resistance temperature detector.

Perceived risk, reward sensitivity and knowledge prove to have significant effect on usage intention whereas regional identity does not. Regional identity proves to have moderating and negative effects on relationships between reward sensitivity, perceived risk, knowledge, and usage intention. The research results reinforce major roles for both government and
