Abstract:

This paper is devoted to the description of the method of programming STM32F10x microcontrollers using the built-in bootloader via the USART serial interface, using the Flash Loader Demonstrator program from ST Microelectronics. To automate the programming process, the process of creating a batch file is described. Quite popular is the method of programming the microcontroller through the SWD interface using the ST-Link hardware programmer. However, due to the current shortage of microcircuits, the cost of electronic components has risen markedly, making this method of programming more expensive. Thus, at this point in time, the method of programming microcontrollers using the built-in bootloader via USART using the USB to RS-232 TTL converter is quite in demand. The article may be of interest to students and engineers.

Abstract:

Comunication between microcontrollers is one of the crucial point in embedded sytems. On the other hand, embedded system must be able to run many parallel task simultaneously. To handle this, we need a reliabe system that can do a multitasking without decreasing every task’s performance. The most widely used methods for multitasking in embedded systems are using Interrupt Service Routine (ISR) or using Real Time Operating System (RTOS). This research compared perfomance of USART communication on system with RTOS to a system that use interrupt. Experiments run on two identical development board XMega A3BU-Xplained which used intenal sensor (light and temperature) and used servo as external component. Perfomance comparison done by counting ping time (elapsing time to transmit data and get a reply as a mark that data has been received) and compare it. This experiments divided into two scenarios: (1) system loaded with many tasks, (2) system loaded with few tasks. Result of the experiments show that communication will be faster if system only loaded with few tasks. System with RTOS has won from interrupt in case (1), but lose to interrupt in case (2).

Abstract:

One monitoring Terminal system based on STM32 is introduced in this paper. The system used STM32 as core controller, GPIO and USART as control and communication channel. GPS, GPRS, wired transmission and power section together makes up the system motherboard. The design has been tested and been applied in geology disaster monitoring. Results show that it is adapted to the harsh environment outdoors and long term working conditions.

Two kinds of method writing Chinese character font library and graphics library to external SPI interface flash chip via USART and SD card are designed and realized. By using the SPI Flash chip to store Chinese character font library and graphics library, it can achieve the human-machine interface which uses a variety of user-defined Chinese font and pictures and effectively reduce the microcontrollers internal memory consumption. Abstract:

This paper addresses the development of the serious video game “Acción Capital”, designed to support the learning of key concepts about entrepreneurship within the Hub Center of the city of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. In the last decades, entrepreneurship has become a social and knowledge strategy for the development of decision making strongly required by future entrepreneurs. The causes of successful entrepreneurship, including planning, market research, and business expansion, continue to be knowledge required by entrepreneurs year after year. According to Romero & Usart [1], serious video games are those video games where entertainment is not the main objective, they are a potential tool to support learning about key concepts of entrepreneurship due to the benefits it brings to the learning process, as well as the improvement of decision-making skills.

ESP32Cam adalah sebuah platform yang dapat memantau secara realtime dengan menerapkan kamera dan modul wifi yang ada didalamanya.Untuk melakukan pengaturan pada ESP32-Cam dibutuhkan FTDI USB to TTL yang kemudian dihubungkan modul camera dan perangkat personal komputer atau laptop. Untuk memasukkan coding program kedalam ESP32 cam diperlukan sebuah aplikasi opensource yang dapat mengupload program yang di peruntukkan untuk modul esp32cam tersebut dengan menggunakan arduino IDE.Arduino IDE adalah sebuah perangkat lunak yangberfungsi untuk mengembangkan aplikasimikrokontroler dari proses pembuatan program,kompilasi dan upload. Arduino IDE ini jugadilengkapi dengan terminal serial, sehinggamemudahkan pengguna untuk melalukankomunikasi Usart / RS232 ke komputer. Dari hal tersebut didapatkan sistem keamanan dan monitoring secara realtime.

Abstract:

Plastic has found an irreplaceable part in human life. Human produces plastic wastes continually which results in pollution. In this paper GLCM (Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix) technique is used for plastic segregation. Plastic segregation is necessary for recycling; hence they have to be segregated from other wastes. Manufacturing plastics from recycled plastic products uses only two-third of the energy used to make plastics from virgin materials. By the variation in intensity levels of reflected light from the plastic wastes it is segregated. This type of waste management gains attention in recent days due to enormous increase in the wastes generated. Robotic arm controlled using vision system that uses GLCM technique is used for segregation. The GLCM property of contrast is calculated for the given sample and it is compared with the stored pre-defined value. On successful comparison with the given condition a signal is sent through the serial port to the 8051 microcontroller using USART (Universal Synchronous/Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) feature. On receipt of this signal, the microcontroller provides movement of the robotic arm by controlling the servo motors.

Abstract:

Gel-based electrodes are employed to record sEMG signals for prolonged periods. These signals are used for the control of myoelectric prostheses, clinical analysis, or sports medicine. However, when the gel dries, the electrode-skin impedance increases considerably. Using dry active electrodes (AEs) to compensate variations of impedance is an alternative for long-term recording. This work describes the optimization of the electronic design of a conventional AE by removing the impedance coupling stage and two filters. The proposed work consisted of 5 stages: electrodes, amplification (X250), 2.2 Vdc offset, low-pass filter, and ADC with USART communication. The device did not need the use of electrolytic gel. The measurements of CMRR (96 dB), amplitude of the output sEMG signal (∼1.6 Vp-p), and system bandwidth (15–450 Hz) were performed in order to confirm the reliability of the device as an sEMG signal acquisition system. The SNR values from seven movements performed by eleven volunteers were compared in order to measure the repeatability of the measurements (average 30.32 dB for a wrist flexion). The SNR for wrist flexion measured with the proposed and the commercial system was compared; the values were 49 dB and 60 dB, respectively.

Abstract:

The proposed design solution refers to elements of land vehicle bodies and namely to control panels of a power truck and it can be used to control vehicles of technological purpose with electric traction, as well as their hinged and trailed equipment. A technical problem of a device coinciding with the positive result from its application is to provide a possibility for controlling hinged or trailed equipment of a transport vehicle of technological purpose with the help of a panel. The control panel has a steering wheel located on its left side mounted on a steering column, a speedometer and a section of vehicle control devices, and there is a control unit for hinged and trailed equipment of the vehicle in the right part of the panel; it is made in the form of a box and there is a group of indicating devices, keypad and two function keys on the outer box surface. The group of indicating instruments includes a line of seven-segment indicators, a text LCD-indicator, a graphic TFT-display, the first and second LEDs indicating the status of hinged and trailed equipment. Indicating devices, keypad and two function keys are electrically connected to the control unit located inside the box. The control unit is based on an industrial microcontroller equipped with a non-volatile memory unit and a USART module connected via an interface converter unit to a radio module.

Abstract:

En este artículo reflexionamos sobre los procesos de memoria y tratamiento del pasado elaborados en/sobre Nicaragua. 1979 y 1990 marcan las fechas de las dos últimas transiciones políticas en la historia nicaragüense. A pesar de sus diferencias, ambos procesos sostuvieron que la construcción de la nueva Nicaragua pasaba por olvidar el pasado inmediato que les antecedía, ya fuese este el de la dictadura somocista o el de la revolución sandinista. Olvidar el pasado o utilizarlo instrumentalmente fueron los imperativos de la pacificación. En la segunda parte del artículo presentamos tres procesos de construcción de memorias que cuestionan el olvido como sostén de la pacificación. Argumentamos que la/os actora/es referidas/os y sus formas de resistir son plurales, con identidades colectivas y enunciamientos desde los márgenes del discurso público. A través de estos diálogos se puede reconocer la existencia de iniciativas de memoria que nombran y tensionan los límites del horizonte de pacificación y democratización impuesto durante las transiciones de la historia reciente.

En muchos campos de la actividad humana se nombra al usuario comúnmente, no obstante es en el campo del diseño donde su carácter mayormente es determinado. Esa figura móvil que representa a quién usará un objeto o servicio, pareciera tener una identidad oculta, pues al tratar de ver quién está detrás, no hay características definidas, como si de contemplar un vacío se tratara. Es casi obvio corresponder al usuario con una persona, animal o planta, pero definir con precisión quién es, resulta una aporía. El objetivo de este documento es hacer una revisión sobre el término dentro de sus características fundamentales, así como desentrañar su nacimiento dentro de la historia del diseño, para entender como un término que es usado indiscriminadamente dentro de ese campo designa a un humano, cuyo objetivo primario no es usar un objeto o servicio, sino existir.

Abstract:

La meta del proceso de aprendizaje de la lectura y la escritura en un sentido amplio es la participación activa de los nuevos miembros en las prácticas letradas de su comunidad. Dado que lo que se busca es pericia en determinadas prácticas, el mejor camino para alcanzarla es por medio de la inmersión en versiones auténticas de esas prácticas, en las cuales el uso de la lengua y de los textos responde a propósitos que van más allá de la enseñanza de la lectura y la escritura. Una vez discutidas las evidencias empíricas que apoyan esta propuesta, se presentará un enfoque transversal de la lectura y la escritura. Según este enfoque, la formación de miembros activos de la cultura escrita ha de realizarse no solamente desde la clase de lengua sino desde otras disciplinas curriculares no lingüísticas. A diferencia de lo que sucede en el área de lengua, en la cual hay que tratar de que se cree la necesidad para que tenga sentido introducir diversos tipos de texto, en las otras áreas curriculares se trata de crear los textos para responder a necesidades que ya existen. En las áreas no lingüísticas es donde hay más posibilidades de utilizar con sentido textos auténticos con diversas finalidades. La propuesta de transversalidad ha encontrado escollos importantes para atender los requerimientos de diversidad y autenticidad de los textos, la interacción entre lengua oral y escrita y el intercambio entre pares, entre ellos, el uso exclusivo de libros de texto, la dificultad de encarar en las aulas un trabajo diversificado y la fragmentación de responsabilidades. Resumo: As palavras regeneração, reparação, cicatrização e fibrose cicatricial têm significados específicos, mas muitas vezes são utilizadas como sinônimos ou de forma invertida, gerando muita confusão conceitual no dia a dia clínico. Reparação e regeneração são processos biológicos que reconstroem diferentes tecidos, sem uma comparação competitiva de qual seria o melhor ou mais conveniente. Cicatrização não é sinônimo perfeito de reparação, pois representa o processo pelo qual se forma uma cicatriz, marca ou sinal. Por sua vez, fibrose cicatricial representa a formação de tecido conjuntivo fibroso normal em locais onde habitualmente não é encontrado. O entendimento preciso desses termos facilita a compreensão e solidifi- ca os conceitos tanto na comunicação falada e escrita quanto na leitura mais crítica de trabalhos, especialmente envolvendo novos materiais, técnicas e planejamento terapêutico.

Abstract:

O objetivo do artigo é relatar o desenvolvimento das práticas avaliativas adotadas como estratégias docentes ao longo de um conjunto de seis semestres letivos, nos quais três deles foram caracterizados pelo uso de rubricas e três deles não, em uma disciplina de Cálculo Numérico ministrada pelo mesmo professor a diferentes cursos de graduação. A metodologia adotada é mista (quanti-quali), com predominância do viés quantitativo e foco na intervenção pedagógica (DAMIANI et al., 2013). Ao todo, foram analisados desempenhos de 305 alunos. Os dados foram tratados por meio da Estatística Descritiva e foi realizado o teste não-paramétrico de Kruskal-Wallis, no qual se constatou diferença nos desempenhos entre os semestres com e sem adoção de rubricas. O pos hoc identificou que apenas o semestre 2017.2 (sem rubricas) não diferiu do semestre 2019.1 (com rubricas). Conclui-se, de forma geral, que os resultados se mostraram favoráveis à adoção de rubricas na avaliação discente.

Abstract:

Estrogenoterapia de reemplazo en el climaterio ya llega a los 55 años de su uso y en la última década, se habla del riesgo del cáncer endometrial, que algunos investigadores creen que es debido a la sobredosis o que las pacientes ya eran portadoras de lesiones no diagnosticadas desde antes de recibir los estrógenos. Se introdujo el uso de la Progesterona como protección del riesgo. Si bien es cierto que contrarrestan a los receptores endometriales, aumenta el riesgo de la mujer por el bloqueo de la acción cardio protectora al alterar el metabolismo del colesterol de alta densidad y de los carbohidratos, así como la descalcificación ósea. Es totalmente innecesario en las histerectomizadas. Y no protege el tejido mamario. Ante esta controversia, se reunió un Comité Internacional de especialistas en el campo de la menopausia y se concluyó que los progestágenos no son necesarios para el tratamiento combinado en el climaterio y que pueden causar problemas mayores que no administrarlas. Cada médico debe usar el estrógeno en forma simple o con progestágenos, según el caso, de manera individual, hasta que se obtengan mayores informes de las investigaciones sobre el beneficio y los riesgos.

Este texto trata das experiências que fundam o olhar, a postura e os gestos de duas artistas-pesquisadoras que tomam por referência poética em comum o livro Água Viva, de Clarice Lispector. Com a tentativa de refletir sobre certas provocações dessa edição em relação ao autorretrato crítico do artista, objetiva-se estabelecer um diálogo entre as diferentes investigações sobre a figura do artista na atualidade, o que inclui referências, práticas e discursos artístico-teóricos plurais. A intenção, aqui, é dar fluxo aos pensamentos que afluem ora por vias acadêmico-intelectuais, ora por vivências e empirismos, fazendo-se existir não apenas pelas linhas venosas da região do real, mas, tanto quanto ou mais, pelos meandros do imaginário e da imaginação. Articulam-se, pelo mútuo exercício do pensamento, passagens de autores como Bauman, Mondzain, Nancy, Blanchot e Arendt, além de menções a Saramago, García Márquez, Mia Couto e à própria Lispector, cuja companhia nos motiva a essa escrita em dupla. Afinal, é nos domínios da reflexão e da inclusão que trabalhamos o compartir das diferenças na profundidade das entrelinhas.

A menopausa corresponde à cessação permanente da menstruação, conseqüente à perda da função folicular ovariana ou à remoção cirúrgica dos ovários. A idade média para ocorrência da menopausa natural gira em torno de 50 anos. A deficiência estrogênica decorrente da menopausa está associada com sintomas vasomotores, atrofia urogenital, declínio cognitivo, assim como a um aumento no risco de doenças crônico-degenerativas, aterosclerose e doença cardiovascular, osteoporose e doença de Alzheimer. A estrogenioterapia permanece sendo o tratamento mais efetivo para o manejo dos sintomas vasomotores e atrofia urogenital. Em mulheres com útero presente, a progesterona natural ou os progestogênios devem ser associados ao tratamento com estradiol para antagonizar os efeitos proliferativos deste hormônio sobre o endométrio e anular o risco de hiperplasia/carcinoma endometrial. Por outro lado, em determinadas condições clínicas, a terapia hormonal não é recomendada ou é mesmo contra-indicada. Neste artigo, focalizamos criticamente essas situações clínicas em que não se deve indicar a terapia hormonal na menopausa.

A hipertensão arterial resistente (HAR) é uma condição clínica na qual a pressão arterial persiste elevada, acima das metas estabelecidas de controle apesar do uso de três fármacos incluindo um diurético, todos em doses máximas otimizadas ou necessidade de se adicionar quatro ou mais medicamentos para atingir o controle adequado. A terapia com diuréticos, inibidores da enzima de conversão da angiotensina (IECA) ou bloqueadores receptor da angiotensina II (BRA) e bloqueadores de canais de cálcio (BCC) para o controle adequado da pressão arterial já está bem estabelecida pelas diretrizes. A espironolactona firmou-se como quarto fármaco adicional a esse esquema terapêutico, após o estudo Pathway-2. A clonidina passou ser a sexta ou sétima opção, para adição a esta sequência de terapia ficando atrás dos betabloqueadores ou vasodilatadores, dependendo da situação clínica. O estudo brasileiro ReHot, avaliando pacientes com HAR não demonstrou superioridade expressiva deste fármaco em relação a espironolactona, devido aos efeitos adversos, porém não devendo ser substituída pela metildopa pela falta de evidências cientificas em relação a segurança e eficácia do fármaco como terapia adicional para HAR.
