The author analyzes the history, genesis and local features of the spring holidays "Lola Sayli" (Tulip Festivity) and "Boychechak Sayli"(Snowdrop Festivity) that are held in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Also, new scientific views on the image of the tulip and its symbolic meanings in the popular folk art of the region, especially in the national suzannas, were expressed.
