Ťápal, Adam, and Vít Gabrhel. "Adaptivní maticový test - recenze metody." TESTFÓRUM 6, no. 11 (September 23, 2018): 37–42. http://dx.doi.org/10.5817/tf2018-11-199.

Abstract:

"Dotazník volby povolání a plánování profesní kariéry: Recenze metody." TESTFÓRUM 4, no. 5 (February 25, 2015): 30–35. http://dx.doi.org/10.5817/tf2015-5-37.

Full text
Abstract:

Abstract:
This thesis deals with the topic of website optimization and user testing, with focus on the user experience. The main objective of this thesis is to design a software tool for on-line testing of the user experience of web applications, which currently does not exist on the Czech Internet. The first part deals with the user experience in theoretical aspect. It contains a comparison of experts' opinions on the issue and deals with the definition of basic concepts. The theoretical part contains an analysis of research techniques used in designing the user experience, which is an important output for the second part. Practical part of thesis includes at the beginning a research of the availability of tools to support analyzed research techniques on Czech Internet and assess their suitability for implementation into the designed tool. Afterwards thesis follow up the main goal - the development of a software tool for usability testing of web applications and websites (incl. the proposed business model and potential areas for future development). This tool should among other things provide benefits in terms of speed up and simplification of usability testing, including reducing the costs of testing.

Abstract:
In this master thesis are presented design and testing processes of communication between elderly and single-purpose robot. At the beginning design and architecture of the system for testing are described. Communication understandability was checked in interviews with nineteen people. Other opinions on usability or affordability of automatic device, which is used for picking and lifting objects from the ground, are presented in this thesis. Results from questionnaires and measurements showed that working with the robot is pleasant and understandable. Even senior is able to learn effective communication with this device. The main finding is that even robot communicates through nonverbal sounds, is easy to understand it. Choosing of sound set has no influence on communication understandability.

Abstract:
This Master's Thesis addresses the topic of usability testing of web-based systems. It reviews existing testing methodologies and recommends a collection of test tools and approaches suitable for usability testing. This thesis introduces a new methodology called Tabie for scoring web system under test. The methodology combines both the ease of use of the user interface (syntactic testing) as as well as its content (semantical testing). This approach is well suited for workflows in marketing agencies where content tweaks and its evaluation is done on an ongoing basis in order to attract more viewers and potential customers. The Tabie methodology provides a quantitative and repeatable process, automating the tweak-evaluate iteration.

Abstract:
The main objective of this diploma thesis is to design an efficient methodology for testing and evaluating user experience of smaller web applications. The proposed methodology is based on understanding the issues of user experience testing of small projects, exploring the principles of current methodologies and analysis methods for testing and evaluating user experience. Based on the analysis, appropriate methods are selected and the methodology is assembled. Part of this thesis is verifying the methodology on a real project in practice in order to reveal its potential shortcomings. This thesis is composed of two parts. The first, theoretical part includes analysis of user experience issues and its testing, description of the methodology principles and the analysis of methods themselves. The second part includes the designed methodology and its verification in practice. Proposed methodology should be beneficial for small development teams or companies that have a need for testing the user experience, but do not have enough resources to develop their own methodology or purchase the methodology developed by another company. In practice, I was not able to find freely available methodology for testing the user experience, which would also be designed specifically for small projects.
