Abstract:

We prove that for a large and important class of C¹ twist maps of the torus periodic and quasi-periodic orbits of a new type exist, provided that there are no rotational invariant circles (R.I.C's). These orbits have a non-zero "vertical rotation number'' (V.R.N.), in contrast to what happens to Birkhoff periodic orbits and Aubry-Mather sets. The V.R.N. is rational for a periodic orbit and irrational for a quasi-periodic. AbstractThis report introduces a new closure technique for the management of intraoperative cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage during endoscopic endonasal surgery. The procedure is based on the combination of a traditional autologous tissue flap with a heterologous fibrin graft (TachoSil). We performed a retrospective analysis on 121 patients with pituitary adenomas treated in our center by the senior neurosurgeon (author V.R.B) in the previous 4 years. This paper proposes a pure silica photonic crystal fiber (PCF), having its core infiltrated with olive oil, which allows achieving an ultra-ﬂattened normal dispersion regime. The article highlights the results of studying the influence of sowing methods and herbicides on the yield and quality of chickpea crops of different varietal composition. The field research was conducted in the experimental field of the Mykolaiv State Agricultural Research Station of the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine in the Southern Steppe zone of Ukraine. The soil of the experimental field is represented by southern black soil, slightly saline, heavy loamy with a humus content of 2.9%. The soil acidity is close to neutral (pH 7.1).

DinB is an error prone DNA polymerase (DNAP) regulated by Escherichia coli's DNA damage response. This enzyme is well known for its translesion synthesis activity, i.e. the ability to bypass potentially lethal lesions on template DNA.
