Single-crystal V2O5 nanowires were successfully synthesized from the starting materials V6O13 powder and water. The experimental results indicate that high purity nanowires can be obtained using this simple synthetic route in absence of templates or catalysts. The diameter of the nanowires was found to be ca. 20∼60 nm and the length up to several tens of micrometers, and the phases of nanowires were determined by XRD and TEM measurements.

Методами термогравиметрии, дифференциальной сканирующей калориметрии, рентгенофазового анализа и электронной микроскопии исследованы особенности окисления порошков аморфного бора, модифицированных пентоксидом ванадия. Модифицирование осуществляли путем смешения порошков с ванадийсодержащими гелями — гидрогелем состава V2O5 · nH2O и олеогелем состава V(OCH2)2 · n(HOCH2)2. Установлено, что добавление к порошку аморфного бора 2 % (мас.) V2O5 на 200 °C снижает температуру начала его интенсивного окисления и на 25 % повышает удельное тепловыделение в процессе взаимодействия при нагревании на воздух
