Abstract:
The concept of motion is central to the human cognition and it is universally studied in cognitive linguistics. This research paper investigates concept of motion, with special reference to traveling, in the poetry of Widad Benmoussa. It mainly focuses on the cognitive dimensions underlying the metaphorical representation of traveling. To this end, the research conducts a semi-automated analysis of a corpus representing Widad’s poetic collections. MetaNet’s physical path is mainly used to reveal the cognitive respects of traveling. The formation, accumulation, evaporation, and elimination of water in polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) is one of the key features for achieving high power density. The oxygen reduction reaction at the cathode catalyst surface produces water as a by-product. Some of the produced water is discharged from the PEFC through the gas flow channels, while the rest accumulates in the catalyst layer (CL) and gas diffusion layer (GDL). The accumulated water in the porous media inhibits the oxygen supply to the cathode catalyst surface, leading to an increase in the concentration overpotential. Ther

We present ytterbium doped silica single-mode fibre components for high power and high energy laser applications. We developed in-house the fibre laser with high efficiency of 65% according to the launched power, the threshold of 1.16W and the fibre length of 20 m. We also elaborated the fibre with 20 µm in diameter core suitable for amplifying the beam generated in oscillator. We implemented made in-house endcaps to prove the utility of the fibre towards high peak power applications. Abstract The spike glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2 (S) has been used as a main target antigen for vaccine design. There are concerns of vaccine-induced allergies, but mostly about allergic responses to the adjuvant. We, however, found that repetitive exposure to SARS-CoV-2 spike, not Nucleocapsid (N) protein, can induce robust type 2 inflammation in the airway of mice, which is exacerbated by the presence of house dust mite allergens. This type 2 inflammation is accompanied with elevated IgE and neutralizing antibody production. To further test whether spike glycosylation influences these responses
