Abstract:
Under investigation in this paper is a variable-coefficient AB (vcAB) system, which describes marginally unstable baroclinic wave packets in geophysical fluids and ultra-short pulses in nonlinear optics. The modulation instability analysis of solutions with variable coefficients in the presence of a small perturbation is studied. The modified Darboux transformation (mDT) of the vcAB system is constructed via a gauge transformation. The first-order non-autonomous rogue wave solutions of the vcAB system are presented based on the mDT. It is found that the wave amplitude of [Formula: see text] ex

Blackwater (BW) is a vital source of bio-energy and nutrients for the sustainable development of human society in the future owing to its organic and nutrient-rich properties. Therefore, biomass and water must be used properly to avert environmental challenges and promote the viable development of nutrient recovery and bioenergy production. Moreover, vacuum-collected BW (VCBW) as a renewable source can offer outstanding potential in bioenergy and nutrition sustainability.

Abstract Effective responses against different immune challenges require secretion of antibodies with various isotypes performing specific effector functions. Structural information on these isotypes is essential to engineer antibodies with desired physico-chemical features of their antigen-binding properties, and optimal stability and developability as potential therapeutic antibodies. In silico mutational scanning profiles on antibody structures would further pinpoint candidate mutations for enhancing antibody stability and function. Although a number of antibody structure databases exist, a

Summary Clay-rich carbonate reservoirs are characterized by highly heterogeneous pore structures, including both intraparticle and interparticle porosities. Neglecting the volume of clay-bound water (VCBW) in such systems can lead to significant errors in estimating hydrocarbon recovery factors. Conventional well logging methods often struggle to quantify VCBW in such reservoirs, while advanced techniques like nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) are expensive and not widely available. This study proposes a novel, cost-effective sequential machine learning (ML) framework for predicting VCBW using

Blueberry ( Vaccinium spp.) is renowned for its high levels of antioxidant activities and anthocyanins, which provide significant health benefits. ATP binding cassette transporters (ABC proteins) are a highly expanded gene family crucial for plant development due to their role in translocating diverse substrates. Despite their importance, the identification and substrate classification of ABC proteins in blueberries, particularly those involved in anthocyanin transport, remain unexplored. In this study, we performed a genome - wide analysis of ABC genes in blueberries using bioinformatics anal

Abstract:
Background— The hemodynamic and vascular effects of ventricular sourcing by a stent-based (VSTENT, Percardia) left ventricle-to-coronary artery bypass were studied in a patient subgroup of the European multicenter ADVANTAGE study (ADjunctive treatment with the VCAB/VSTENT myocardial implANT system in coronary Artery bypass Graft patiEnts). Methods and Results— Twelve patients who underwent VSTENT implantation in addition to coronary artery bypass surgery were studied up to 12 months after the procedure. The VSTENT was implanted distal to a hemodynamically relevant coronary artery stenosis. Cor
