The Word “Veda” is derived from Sanskrit word “vid” which means To Know. The foundation and outlook of Indian culture has been focused on scientific facts since ancient times. The human body and pride on this Earth are composed of five elements. i.e. “क्षिति जल पावक गगन समीरा, पञ्च रचित यह अधम शरीरा” “Kshiti jal paawak gagan sameera, panch rachit yah adham sharira” Even in the new era the entire science is concentrated on these five elements. In ancient Vedas and purana’s physics has been mentioned extensively under the name “BHAUTIK SHASTRAM”. Basically, physics is the study of rules of natur

All types of knowledge and sciences like chemistry, biology, physics, geography, agriculture, medical science etc. are the contribution of Vedic literature. On the basis of all these sciences, a person is making double and quadruple progress day and night. But here in the research paper, an attempt has been made to provide some guidance about agricultural science because this topic is so vast that it cannot be covered completely in the research paper. The second phase, beginning in 1970, was marked by a sudden transformation of the TMO from a small, exotic Indian-based meditation movement to an aggressively modern, sc

Chapter 3 focuses on devotion: the god Śiva or Bhairava as manifested in the forms of Amṛteśa and Mṛtyujit. It locates the deity in the wider corpus of Sanskrit literature. It first situates Śiva as outside of Vedic orthodoxy instead of living and worshipping in the charnel ground. This associates the deity with death and the ability to overcome it. The chapter then examines references to Mṛtyujit and the conquering or cheating of death within the Purāṇas. Again returning to the Netra Tantra, the chapter then translates sections of text that describe the physical forms of Amṛteśa and Mṛtyujit.

Background: Chairs are a relatively newer concept as compared to the traditional Indian way of ground-based sitting. The traditional Indian gurukuls (residential schools), follows Vedic way of minimal living, and the learners primarily adopt ground-based sitting resembling specific asanas (body postures), which offer a wide range of physical and psychological benefits. Problem: Although there is ample study on the consequences of extended (chair-based) sitting and sedentary lifestyle, only a few studies have focused on the ground-based sitting practise adopted in eastern cultures.
