Abstract:
The publication discusses the indicators of the study of vegetative tone, vegetative reactivity and vegetative security of activity in elderly people with vegetative dystonia syndrome. 180 patients with CCI of the second stage were studied, the average age was 67.4±6.1 years. The patients were divided into two groups. Group I consisted of 118 patients (62.2% of the total number of patients) with stage 2 chronic cerebral ischemia (CCI) with ADS, group 2 consisted of 62 patients (34.4%) with stage 2 CCI without ADS.

Previously, using the non-toxin-producing ΔSterne strain ofB. anthracis, we demonstrated that linezolid was equivalent to ciprofloxacin for reducing the total (vegetative and spore) bacterial population. With ciprofloxacin therapy, the total population consisted of spores. With linezolid therapy, the population consisted primarily of vegetative bacteria. Marsh, mangrove, and seagrass distributional patterns reflect the unique latitudinal gradient in rainfall from the wet Sabine-Neches estuary to the arid Lower Laguna Madre, in which precipitation decreases by over 50% over Texas’ 5400 km coastline. The estuarine vegetation changes predictably in response to increasing salinity, from brackish emergent marsh systems in the north, to mixed mangrove-marsh assemblages on the central coast

The dynamics of vegetative tone was analyzed in 75 patients with neurological manifestations of the thoracic and lumbar spine after manual therapy. It was revealed that the change in vegetative tone in terms of heart rate variability correlates with its initial state (before the procedure of manual therapy). It was noted that in patients with initial sympathicotonia, after the procedure of manual therapy, a decrease in sympathetic activity occurred in 93.5% of cases. In patients with initially reduced sympathetic tone, its increase was detected in 56% of cases.

Abstract:
The vegetation map of Dry Tortugas National Park was created by in-field polygon delineation instead of the more common photointerpretation of aerial imagery. Using the Trimble GeoXT GPS device in the field allowed the production of a finely detailed vegetation map (vegetation census) for Loggerhead Key, Garden Key, Bush Key, East Key, Long Key, Middle Key, and Hospital Key. The Dry Tortugas vegetation maps were made using the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) zone 17 North coordinate system and the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83) with a minimum mapping unit of 25 m². Abstract:
Meristems were the central issue of our project. Genes that are required for cell division, cell elongation, cell proliferation and cell fate were studied in the tomato system. The analysis of the dUTPase and threonine deaminase genes, along with the dissection of their regulatory regions is completed, while that of the RNR2 and PPO genes is at an advanced stage. All these genes were isolated in our laboratory. In addition, 8 different MADS box genes were studied in transgenic plants and their genetic relevances discovered. We have also shown that a given MADS box gene can modify the polarity

Abstract:
The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s (ERDC) Environmental Laboratory (EL) and Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory (CHL) have completed several large scale hydrodynamic, sediment and water quality transport studies. These studies have been successfully executed utilizing the Geophysical Scale Transport Modeling System (GSMB), which is composed of multiple process models (Figure 1). Due to being directly and indirectly linked within the GSMB framework, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) accepted wave, hydrodynamic, sediment, and water quality transport models are both directl

Micro-terrain and canopy feature extraction by breakline and differencing analysis of gridded elevation models : identifying terrain model discontinuities with application to off-road mobility modeling. Engineer Research and Development Center (U.S.), 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.21079/11681/40185.

Abstract:
Elevation models derived from high-resolution airborne lidar scanners provide an added dimension for identification and extraction of micro-terrain features characterized by topographic discontinuities or breaklines. Gridded digital surface models created from first-return lidar pulses are often combined with lidar-derived bare-earth models to extract vegetation features by model differencing. However, vegetative canopy can also be extracted from the digital surface model alone through breakline analysis by taking advantage of the fine-scale changes in slope that are detectable in high-resolut

Abstract:
The Los Angeles District of the US Army Corps of Engineers is assisting the City of Los Angeles with restoration efforts on the Los Angeles River. The city wishes to restore portions of the channelized river to a more natural state with riparian/vegetative green spaces for both wildlife and public recreation usage. The Los Angeles River provides an important role for the City of Los Angeles from a flood-control perspective, and functionality needs to be preserved when contemplating system modifications. This report details the development of an Adaptive Hydraulics (AdH) numerical model capable
