From technology focused conceptual perspectives, the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) as a theory of technology acceptance postulates four identified constructs as: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions (Venkatesh, Morris, Davis, & Davis, 2003). This study concentrates on digital storytelling as a form of eWOM for tourism promotion within the UTAUT capacities in selected ‘developing' tourism market perspectives. Results outline that in almost every aspects and contexts, appropriate technology application is supportive for tourism promotion where institutionalisation of market structures is relatively weaker.

Abstract:
Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) has been in vogue for quite sometime now. The theory lends credence to the fact that technology and its usage in different spheres of life ought to go through various stages like designing, planning, implementing and leveraging in various ways before making that much needed change in human lives. The stakeholders involved in various stages of technology need to know the challenges they might come across in order to overcome them while successfully implementing technology. This is where UTAUT play a pivotal role by providing necessary information to all key stakeholders. The chapter throws light on the importance of UTAUT in different sectors with some illustrations. The research findings highlighted in the chapter provides additional explanation, apart from exploring new areas of research pertaining to UTAUT.

The proposed conceptual framework in this research was developed by Venkatesh. The framework will extend the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Useful Technology (UTAUT) model by incorporating with other variables in order to determine the factors that influence the intention of e-wallet adoption among the consumers from the respective countries: Malaysia and Thailand. By integrating with other variables which are based on the usage of e-wallet, the research outcome will be able to provide more comprehensive and better explanations on the consumer behaviour instead of just focusing on the technology characteristics. Furthermore, this research will also compare the results between Malaysian consumers and Thai consumers in order to explain the factors of e-wallet adoption and consumer behaviour between the two countries.

Abstract:
The use of information communication technology (ICT) in the industry is undoubtedly growing fast all over the world. Nevertheless, many of the small enterprises, particularly in the food and beverages (F&B) industry in Brunei, are still not adapting as rapidly as anticipated. Thus, this study aims to identify and explore the key factors influencing Brunei's small enterprises to adopt e-commerce in their business based on Venkatesh and Davis technology acceptance model (TAM) framework. In attaining this purpose, in-depth interviews have been conducted with six local small enterprises. It can be concluded that there are four main factors contributing to the influence to the adoption and use of e-commerce amongst Bruneian's small enterprises, which are perceived usefulness, perceived ease-of-use, costs, and social influence.

Since the late 1970s, many countries have based their tax systems on self-assessment – taxpayers are expected to evaluate their liabilities autonomously, and voluntarily remit their tax due. If the tax system is perceived as fair and easy to navigate, with credible threat of penalisation for non-compliance, self-assessment reduces the cost of tax administration without significant revenue losses (Barr et al. 1977; Teviotdale and Thompson 1999; James and Alley 2004). On the other hand, self-assessment entails an increase in compliance costs for taxpayers, at the very least in terms of time spen
