Abstract:

This thesis investigates multi pushdown automata and introduces their new modifications based on deep pushdown. The first modification is Input driven multi deep pushdown automata, which has several deep pushdown lists and the current input symbol determines whether the automaton performs a push operation, a pop operation, an expansion operation or does not touch the stack. The second introduced modification is Regulated pushdown automata by deep pushdown. In addition to ordinary pushdowns, this version contains deep pushdown, which is used to generate the control language. This thesis proves, that the acceptance power of the described variants is equal to the accepting power of Turing machines. This thesis also contains view on program realisation of theoretical models, which were described in the theoretical part and introduces a library for the syntax analysis, which is based on it.

Abstract:

This thesis with the sumptuous working title Film Cooperative, Version 2.0 is the result of my two-year background research for the purpose of establishing a cooperative entity. I proceed from the generally positive perception of present cooperativism abroad but I apply my research on the specific situation in the Czech Republic. Although it is marked by a rich cooperative history during the so called “First Republic,” the current approach to the cooperativist model is rather negative particularly due to the adverse role that collectivization played in the second half of the 20th century. Therefore I focus on cases from the Czech context, both from the past and present. Since film cooperativism has not yet taken roots in our country, we would be its pioneers. In my work I therefore look for past and present models from other sectors that could help stimulate it. I conclude my thesis by inspiration from alternative models of thinking about the world where finance is not the driving model but a carrier into a better world.

This work deals with the modification of classical grammar systems with context-free base and defines new, modified linear grammar systems with linear grammar base. Also it deals with modification in automata systems, where each automaton is generative as strong as linear grammar, which is satisfied with the usage of one-turn push-down automata. This thesis also contains view on program realisation of theoretical models, which were described in theoretical part and introduces two programs for syntax analysis built based on it.

Abstract:

The master's thesis deals with the analysis of the current version of the trolley and the docking station of the channel racks and the design of modifications. The theoretical part describes the components of the storage channel system. There is also explained principle of pallet storage in this part. In the following chapter, several variants of the design of the lifting mechanism of the lifting platform are elaborated. The work also presents static structural analysis of the current version of the trolley and docking station, parametric study and topological optimization of one of the components. Static structural analyzes were partially solved in the finite element software RFEM by Dlubal Software s.r.o company, and mainly in the software ANSYS Workbench 2020 R2 by ANSYS, Inc. company.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to study the issue of eniveromental scanning electron microscopy and pumping gas to create a vacuum in the newly designed scintillation detector. Further, creating a model of recently proposed scintillation detector and simulating and analyzing pumping gas in differentially pumped chamber of detector and the results compare with the previous model. The theoretical part deals with electron microscopy, electron sources, electron optics and secondary electrons detectors. It is also presented which signals are generated by the electron beam on the surface of a solid. Further fluid flow issues and equations describing the flow in the solved chamber are dismantled. Furthermore, the impact of gaseous environment on the trajectory of primary electrons, because there are collisions of primary beam with atoms and molecules of gas. The following section discusses creating, quality and importance of the network in mathematical modelling. A method of a final volume used to calculate the differential equations describing the flow of gas at the premises of the microscope is described . The practical part consists in creating a model of scintillation detector and analyzing the gas flow in drawing a vacuum in the newly designed scintillation detector. Furthermore, the simulation results are compared with the results of simulations on the older type of scintillation detector. The output of this thesis is model of recently proposed scintillation detector with visualized simulation results.

Abstract:

Symptoms associated with menopause are known to negatively affect quality of life for many women. Moreover, concern about risks associated with hormone replacement therapy can prompt women to seek non-pharmacological approaches to symptom management. Claims exist that yoga can be useful in the management of menopausal symptoms, possibly through modification of endocrine function. This study used a randomized controlled design to examine the effect of yoga on sedentary menopausal women with regard to menopausal symptoms, circulating hormones, musculoskeletal fitness, heart rate, blood pressure, and body mass index. Women participating in a traditional walking program served as the control group. Results indicate that both types of activity were beneficial for perimenopausal women, although the differences between yoga and walking for improvement in menopause symptoms were not statistically significant. The effects do not appear to be associated with hormonal changes. Musculoskeletal fitness in sedentary women improved with activity despite weight gain.

Abstract:

The aim of this master thesis is to suggest the marketing plan for paid digital version of daily newspaper MF DNES. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. The first part focuses on marketing plan from the theoretical point of view, where the plan and all its parts are summarized and defined into details. In the practical part, the plan is presented on the example of paid digital version of MF DNES. On the basis of deep market analysis, consumer analysis and executed marketing research, the marketing goals of the company are set. Based on these goals, the marketing strategy is suggested. The strategy is further explained in the action plan. Finally, the budget corresponding to these actions is proposed.

Abstract:

The main task of the Master Thesis is introduction into problems of quality of service in converged networks especially with use of IP protocol version 6. Converged networks are able to transfer different data types - voice, data or multimedia stream. Design of active network unit is realized in Matlab Simulink. Designed model consists of simple network with some computer terminals which are connected with network element - switch. Switch model simulates real traffic of computer terminals, that are sending data to remote users. Packets in switch are sorting by data stream type and QoS. Switch is managed by neuron network. Neuron network reacts to input data and controls switch depending on type of recipient. Switch model can be used in laboratory exercising. Solving this theme needs basic skill in Simulink and theme can be done in one laboratory exercise.

Abstract:

Tato disertační práce zavádí jednostranné gramatiky s nahodilým kontextem jako řízené gramatiky založené na bezkontextových gramatikách. V těchto gramatikách je ke každému pravidlu přiřazena množina povolujících symbolů a množina zakazujících symbolů a množina pravidel je rozdělena na množinu levých pravidel s nahodilým kontextem a množinu pravých pravidel s nahodilým kontextem . Levým pravidlem s nahodilým kontextem lze přepsat neterminál pokud se všechny povolující symboly vyskytují vlevo od přepisovaného neterminálu a žádný zakazující symbol tam přítomen není. Pravé pravidlo s nahodilým kontextem lze aplikovat analogicky, ale ona kontrola na přítomnost a nepřítomnost symbolů je provedena doprava od přepisovaného neterminálu. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. První část uvádí motivaci za zavedením jednostranných gramatik s nahodilým kontextem a umisťuje materiál pokrytý v této práci do vědeckého kontextu. Poté dává přehled základů teorie formálních jazyků a některých méně známých oblastí, jejichž znalost je nutná pro pochopení studovaného tématu. Druhá část tvoří jádro práce. Formálně definuje jednostranné gramatiky s nahodilým kontextem a studuje je z mnoha pohledů. Mezi studovaná témata patří generativní síla, vztah k jiným typům gramatik, redukce, normální formy, nejlevější derivace, zobecněné a LL verze těchto gramatiky. Třetí část této práce zakončuje diskusi několika poznámkami. Mezi ně patří poznámky týkající se aplikovatelnosti zavedených gramatik v praxi, bibliografie a otevřených problémů.

Abstract:

This master thesis is mainly focused on the backup systems and describes each individual backup techniques in detail. Next main point of this thesis, is explaining functionality of IPv4 and FTP, which are closely related to the topic. Outcome is a backup application written in Java language, which is capable of backup files on FTP server or on local/ network storage area. Backup application also allows settings for automatic backup and restoring files from the storage area. Finally there was made a measurment, where were point out advantages and disadvantages of transfer mediums and where was practically shown a logic of creating the backup system. Goal was a creation of multiplatform backup application.

Abstract:

The goal of computer graphics is to precisely model the appearance of real objects. It includes of interactions of light with various materials. Polarisation is one of the fundamental properties of light. Incorporating polarisation parameter into an illumination model can significantly enhance the physical realism of rendered images in the case of scenes including multiple light bounces via specular surfaces, etc. However, recent rendering systems do not take polarisation into account because of complexity of such a solution. The key component for obtaining physically correct images are realistic, polarisation capable BRDF (Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function) models. Within this thesis, polarising versions of the following BRDF models were theoretically derived: Torrance Sparrow, He-Torrance-Sillion-Greenberg and Weidlich-Wilkie. For each of these models, Mueller matrices (the mathematical construct used to describe polarising surface reflectance) were systematically derived and their behaviour tested under various input parameters using Wolfram Mathematica. Derived polarising glossy BRDF models were further implemented using a rendering research system, ART (Advanced Rendering Toolkit). As far as we know, it is the very first usage of these BRDF models in a polarisation renderer....

This thesis is about Wechsler Memory Scale-III Abbreviated (WMS-IIIa). WMS-IIIa is a screening test for measuring memory functioning. It contains measures of visual and verbal memory, immediate and delayed memory. Theoretical part of the thesis is an attempt of a Czech version of the test manual. It summarizes information about its original development, structure, purpose, administration, scoring and possibilities of interpretation. The empirical part is a research targeted on acquisition of Czech norms on representative sample of nonclinical population at the age of 20 to 39 years. Statistical analysis was computed from data of 154 individuals. Demografic characteristics of research group was compared with characteristics of Czech population at the age of 20 to 39 years as described by Czech Statistical Institute.

The research was accomplished by using pedometers Yamax SW 200 on a group of children from 15 to 17 years. The theoretical part of this thesis reviews the possibilities of monitoring the physical activity of youth by subjective and objective methods with some examples of studies already carried out. Abstract:

Neuropsychological developmental screening (NES) is a German tool (published in 2005) for assessing eight fields of development of children aged 3 to 24 months. It is designed for pediatritians, early intervention specialists and psychologists. This thesis builds on A. Klapetek's thesis and aims to verify and check accurancy of Czech translation of the tool by administring the test to a group of Czech children. A. Klapetek conducted a pilot study of the tool. 50 children (10 for every age group) were administred the translation which was being refined during the field research. She also planned further steps to applying NES. Literature review of the thesis deals with developmental characteristics of infants and toddlers. Psychological assessment of young children and its uses and risks are described. The thesis also persues developmental scales, their history and present state. Theoretical concept of the Neuropsychological developmental screening (NES) is introduced. During the field research a group of 50 children was assessed by Czech translation of the tool, and the same group was tested by Developmental screening (Kovařík). Results of the testing were used to discuss existing norms of the tool, to identify problematic exercises (both too difficult and too easy) and to statistically analyse...

Abstract:

5 Abstract Resilience, stressing out the positive aspects of personality and ways of finding sources of support for the development of the internal forces of an individual despite challenging life circumstances has been receiving more and more attention recently from both professionals and the public. Results of the resilience research are affecting theoretical concepts, however, also the areas of intervention, psychotherapy, counseling and prevention programs as well. The subject of theoretical part of the thesis was the introduction to theoretical concepts of resilience and topics related to it. A special attention has been paid to the resilience to the trauma, as well as the results of research concerning resilience sources, risk and protective factors. The specifics of resilience relating to a given age group were discussed in the theoretical part. Abstract:

After the Christian democratic CDU party was forced into the opposition after the parliamentary elections of 1969 it created a program commission which should update the party's Berlin Program adopted few months earlier. Surprisingly it drafted a wholly new party manifesto challenging crucial dogmas of party's policies which led to stormy discussions. This thesis argues that this development was a consequence of generation change in the party which was accelerated by the loss of government as well as a result of the influence of the chairman of the program commission, Helmut Kohl. Kohl was a leading figure of the young rising generation in the party and a strong proponent of party reform. He created conditions in the commission for creation of a progressive proposal by giving influence to talented young reform oriented politicians. But the conservatives in the party were still strong enough to fight back and moderate the reform impetus of the draft. Party committee redrafted it and weakened some central progressive statements. Only the undisputable loss in the elections of 1972 and following election of Helmut Kohl to party chairman made the way free for a thru party reform. Many of the young politicians allied with Kohl during the program discussion in early 1970s became key figures in the CDU....

Firstly we summarize the construction of the viscous compressible flow model via Navier-Stokes partial differential equation and discontinuous Galerkin met- hod. Then we propose an extension of an already known residuum estimate for stationary problems to non-stationary problems. We observe the beha- vior of the proposed estimate and modify an existing hp-adaptive algorithm to use our estimate. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the methods used by translators when translating spoken language in contemporary Danish fiction into Czech. In the first chapter, the Czech translation tradition is defined. This tradition influences Czech usage and tendencies. The second chapter introduces the features of stylized language reflected in literature written in Czech. As will be shown, these are mainly lexicological and morphological features and related stylistical means. The following chapters are devoted to the analysis of individual features of stylized language and their translation into Czech. Discussed are loanwords, diminutives, expletives, morphological changes, realia and politeness. The translated units are compared with Czech translation tradition and literature written in Czech.

The thesis deals with the possibilities of the measurement of the musical abilities and skills of the pupils through the collective tests of musicality. The test was prepared in two version. The first was "classical" - only auditive, but the second version was "experimental", it use the visualization in all subtests. Following a concise overview of the several tests of the musicality for last 100 years, the author defines the fundamental terms as musicality, musical abilities and skills, test, visualization. Following this introduction, she concentrates on the methodology of the construct of the tests for pupils of 1st , 4th and 6th classes of the primary school. The most extensive section of the thesis is devoted to the evaluation, description and interpretation of results of both versions of tests in several classes with use of many tables and graphs. This research verified most of hypothesis and confirmed the needfulness of the utilization of visualization not only for the testing procedure, but also for the teaching of music education in school. The interconnection of visual and acoustic perception helps pupils to understand subject matter faster and easier and also concretizes abstract musical concepts, what is necessary in case of younger age above all. 1 1 1 1 1 1

This thesis focuses on the concept of self-compassion - a healthy attitude toward oneself which could be more easily attainable than unconditional self-acceptance and have less downsides than self-esteem. The first part of the thesis offers the most widely used conceptualisation of self-compassion, a comparison between self-compassion, self-esteem and unconditional self-acceptance, a summary of application areas of self-compassion, a list of relevant psychometric tools and a description of the Czech translation of the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS-CZ). The second part of the thesis consists of a quantitative study designed to further assess the construct validity of the SCS-CZ using the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II), the trait form of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI X2) and the Unconditional Positive Self-Regard Scale (UPSRS) and to explore the connection between self-compassion and unconditional positive self-regard. A battery of web-based inventories was administered to a non-clinical sample (n = 415). The SCS-CZ shows a strong negative correlation with the BDI-II and the STAI X2, and a strong positive correlation with the UPSRS. Ph.D. Thesis Abstract Piano Concerto in G Minor, op. 33, by Antonín Dvořák - Early and Final Version Critical Edition of the Score // Study about the Origin, the First Printing and the Performance Practice The dissertation is focused on the Concerto for Piano by Antonín Dvořák from 1876 - an outstanding composition not only in the Czech milieu but in all the European context as well - , which was a very long time condemned for its "unsuitable" piano part. The thesis summarizes all existing knowledge of the history of the origins and reception of the Dvořák's Piano Concerto, which is further verified on the basis of written contemporary sources (Dvořák's correspondence and contemporary press, sometimes yet unknown). Distorted and false pieces of information are corrected and supplemented with new findings (relating to the performances, interpreters, arrangements). Thanks to them, the author presents a new sight of the history of the reception of this composition from inception until the beginning of present century. This thesis compares novels The War of the Worlds (1898) by Herbert George Wells, Heart of Darkness (1899) by Joseph Conrad, Lord of the Flies (1954) by William Golding and A Clockwork Orange (1962) by Anthony Burgess and their film adaptations. Two of these adaptations are conceived tightly and the other two loosely. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on defining the terms "tight adaptation" and "loose adaptation", on adaptation theories and on choosing the right criteria by which it will be possible to judge the suitability of techniques of adaptation in each case study. The practical part applies the chosen criteria on each adaptation and evaluates the success in transferring key themes and motifs from the model book into the movie version. This thesis aims to analyze a number of mythmaking procedures in the narratives of major Zeman. Its main sources are both the TV series "30 Cases of Major Zeman" and the later adaptations o some of these cases into literary form. The thesis draws inspiration primarily from the theoretical concept of modern mythologies by Roland Bathes, the available analysis of the ideological discourse of normalization and the basic terminology of cultural studies. Its goal is to recognize various mechanisms of signification that embed symbolic meanings that establish the secondary mythical level of individual subjects. The interpretative part of the text focuses on an analysis of the modes of representation of "enemies" and the problematization of allusion and intertextuality as mythmaking instruments.

The thesis is dealing with the topic of depression and measurement instruments, which may contribute to its diagnostics and assessment. Special attention is dedicated to the Beck Depression Inventory, second edition, and the aim of this thesis is to provide normative data acquired from a large sample of healthy adult participants coming from the Czech Republic (N = 450; aged 18 to 96 years). The Beck Depression Inventory, second edition (BDI-II; Beck, Steer, & Brown, 1996) belongs among the most famous and most often used measures of depression severity. A significant relationship was found between the BDI-II total score and gender and education level, but not age. Women tended to score significantly higher than men on average, and a negative correlation between the BDI-II total score and education was found. Therefore, the normative data were analysed and stratified according to these two demographic variables. Tables, presenting means, standard deviations, percentiles and standard scores are provided for the total unstratified sample as well as for demographically defined subgroups. In addition, internal consistency of the Czech version was high (alpha above .80). Aim: The aim of diploma thesis was clinical utility of the Czech version of Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) in both parts. Utility in performance of activities of daily living and utility in satisfaction with performance of activities of daily living for physically disabled adults persons. Methods: The pre-research consisted of 40 persons with physical disability after stroke. For data collection was used Canadian Occupational Performance Measure, Barthel index and Subjective QUAlity of Life Analysis (SQUALA). Hypotheses were vitrificated by correlation analysis using Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient. Results: P-value (p = 0,00001) from the test of dependence of measured values by COPM in performance of activities of daily living and BI was lower than level of significance α = 0,05; 0,00001 < 0,05. P-value from the test of dependence of measured values by COPM in satisfaction with performance of activities of daily living and SQUALA questionnaire was lower than level of significant α = 0,05; 0,041 < 0,05. Conclusion: The results of the statistical analysis did not confirm the independence of the measured values by the Czech version COPM, BI and the SQUALA questionnaire. Its objective is to analyze cultural signs that are introduced into these cultures via the global lifestyle magazine Elle. The theoretical part includes definitions of the term culture in its anthropological meaning and its relation to the natural languages. Abstract:

The present MA thesis presents an analysis of version D of the Early Middle English verse sermon known as the Poema Morale. The objectives of the study were to verify the present localisation of D in Western Kent and clarify its relations to two more copies of the same text (T and M). The research consistsed in analysing the language of the text it terms of its dialect and distinguishing between different layers of copying, where possible. The analysis was performed using the electronic tool Linguistic Atlas of Early Middle English, specific procedures included mainly analyses of maps showing the distribution of dialectal features found in D, which were complemented by discussions of forms which D shares with other Kentish texts or versions T and M. The aim of these discussions was the identification of words coming from the exemplar. Evidence supporting the localisation of D in Kent as well as forms presumably taken from the archetype were presented and put in the context of the results of previous studies.
